Welcome to Firefly Cove! This stunning Lake Norman home offers plenty of places to kick back and relax! Whether you prefer a seat by the fireplace or a lounge chair with a view, the expansive yard space features a large double-decker dock and plenty of outdoor seating around and pool/hot tub and a fire pit.

As our guests, you will enjoy the luxury touches this three-level home provides. With four large bedrooms, a bunk room, four full baths and two half baths, an awesome hot tub and pool, covered porches, and a large two-story boat dock, you're never going to want to leave! Two kayaks, a paddle board, and corn hole add extra fun for both the kids and adults in your group. This home boasts over 5,000 sq. ft. of large open rooms and plenty of outdoor living areas to enjoy. These panoramic lake views from just about every room in the house make it a bright space to relax and unwind.

*** Standard early check-in and late-check out policy is as follows: 2pm check-in and 12pm check-out with a $50 fee per request. All subject to availability and all holidays are excluded
*** No weddings or events are permitted at this property
*** Pet fee of $150 per dog - up to two dogs allowed

Perfect place for a group trip

Our group of 3 families had an awesome time on our long weekend. Most of us never even left the house- we had everything we needed between the house, pool, and lake. There was plenty of room for everyone to have their space. We loved our stay and would recommend to anyone with multiple families.

Great home on Lake Norman

We had the most wonderful relaxing week on the lake. Youngsters headed out on lake to tube, wakeboard and swim. They loved it. Basement area is a great hang out for kids, games, and time together away from parents.

Great Family Vacation

We rented the home for just our family and everything was as described. The property managers were always very communicative with any questions we may have had. There was a problem with the washer that predated our visit but the manager took care of it without us having to be involved. It was a great vacation for my family and my kids loved the lake!

Beautiful Lake view

The house was the perfect set-up for our stay with friends. The boat dock accommodated two boats with deep water as well. The pool and hot tub only had propane for heating purposes, so we were unable to use either one in the event of draining all the propane.

Spring Get Away

First time at Lake Norman. Great house and great location on Lake Norman not to mention the pool and hot tub. Property owners were very responsive and easy to work with. They even checked in on us mid week to make sure we had everything we needed. All around great experience. Will definitely be back again.

Fabulous Getaway!

What a wonderful experience! We came in for a Leadership Retreat. This home was beautiful, allowed for great group and private times. Very beautiful and incredible views from all over! Fully equipped with everything you could want plus the pool, hot tub and fire pit were extra bonuses! Working with Rhonda was easy and fun!!! We loved it!

Family Vacation

Overall, we had an enjoyable stay at Firefly Cove. Location is superb and the views do not disappoint. Pool area was great to hang out while kids were in the house. Only disappointment was the fact that cleanliness and basic maintenance seem to get overlooked with this rental property. All issues reported to management company were addressed somewhat quickly; however, most should not have had to be reported if the home was actively upkept vs. treated as a pure-play rental.

Overall a good property.

Few issues with appliances and air conditioning. Interestingly the master has a fireplace that it shares with the living room and it’s literally an open space and not very quiet when others are in the kitchen or living room. The lake is beautiful as usual but it should be a little clearer how steep the walk is from the lake to the home. Loved having the pool and hot tub. Overall a good experience.

Lake Norman get away

The house and property are beautiful. The area is great, with grocery stores, gas stations and restaurants nearby. We had a few hiccups along the way. The house is located on a quiet little cove just off the main channel. The family had a wonderful time and we will definitely return. A few of the negatives we encountered, on the 1st day we went to fire up the stove and were unable to get the gas burner to light. The property manager responded quickly to our issue and the propane company was quickly dispatched to the house. Turns out the propane tank was empty. Minor inconvenience to get the trip started. Encountered 1 other issue on the 2nd to last night, the upstairs AC unit went out, again the property manger dispatched their AC guy and he came out and fixed the issue within a few hours. The response time on the property management company was very good. Sh*t does happen as any home owner would know. The AC filters in the house had not been changed in over a year as we found while trying to remedy the HVAC issue. All in all it was a great stay with a few bumps along the way.

Lake Heaven

We rented this property for our family Thanksgiving reunion. We live in Miami, 2 kids with baby in NY and 4 kids in Charlotte. This home was the perfect meeting spot right on the middle. And what an amazing week we had. The house was perfect to accommodate all of us, even though the Charlotte gang only stayed one night. The house itself is beautiful but it could use some upgrades… some furniture is falling apart, the kitchen could be better equipped, some of the appliances were not working properly, etc. We notified the management company so hopefully they will take care of it for future rentals. They were very accommodating, bringing us a baby security gate for our one-year old very curious grandson so we could block the stairs. Overall we had a great time and I would recommend this property.

Perfectly laid out

My husband and I have 3 adult children and their significant others plus kids. The lay out of this home was perfect. Two family’s upstairs, my husband and I on main floor and our youngest and his gf on lower level. We brought our boat and the fishing was good. Catfish, bass, sunfish for the kids off the dock. Afternoons spent in the pool. Evening boat rides. Gorgeous lake….
