Fashionable Lower Deer Valley Ski Retreat, Close to Slopes & Old Town

This stunning remodel at Daystar sleeps 9 and offers ideal access to both the historic Old Town of Park City and lower Deer valley Snow Park Lodge! With incredible mountain ski slope views, this 2400 sf townhome is the perfect fit for family and corporate groups alike.

Luxury sleeping accommodations for 9 has a master bedroom with a king bed and an inviting spa like ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom offers a queen bed and ensuite bathroom for privacy. The “children's suite” has two twin beds and a twin over a full size bunk bed in the main bedroom area. This suite also has its own bathroom!

The main living area provides an attractive open floor concept perfect for entertaining and dining alike. The gourmet kitchen has a large island to gather around and Wolf appliances perfect for preparing gourmet meals.

The Daystar neighborhood has the benefit of an HOA sponsored ski shuttle every 30 minutes to take skiers to Snow Park Lodge. Alternatively. The base is only a short half mile drive and there is also the option to take the free transit bus form the corner of Deer Valley Drive to access all three of Park City world class ski resorts and the historic Old Town district only a mile away.

In the summer, enjoy the pleasurable walk to concerts at Deer Valley or shuttle to the Canyons farmers market! This Daystar ski retreat offers luxury lodging for every season of adventure in Deer Valley and Park City.

Great house for family skiing
Property is as shown on the photos, well-maintained, with fine facilities (appliances, heating, water, bedding, whirlpool, lighting). The common areas all have hard flooring (some heated), and the bedrooms have carpeting. Great windows and natural light in the main rooms, but the skylight in the master bedroom could benefit with a shade. the Excellent location for Deer Valley skiing, on free DV shuttle route. Also very convenient to Park City, without the crowds. One inconvenience (which could be easily remedied by owner or manager) is that the only access was through the garage door. There was a lockbox, but no key for the entry door (and none provided despite request). Also despite request, no garage remote control was provided, which required someone to get out of the car (often while snowing) to open the garage door using the control mounted on the wall, for both exit and entry. The usual arrangement is for a remote control to be available, with a deposit if not returned.

clean, bright, large, great location
This was probably our 10th trip to Deer Valley (and our third spring break to DV in a row). We are two adult brothers, two sister-in-laws/wives, and a total of 4 children (ages 4-9). (For a total of 8 people) The location is perfect--approximately a 1 minute drive to DV's Snow Park base (There is also a shuttle). The kitchen and living room is oversized, well-appointed, and bright. The upstairs loft area in the children's room is certainly up a very vertical ladder but the rail and ladder were well made and very sturdy--we had the 7 and 9 year old girls sleep up there while our 4 and 8 year old boys slept in the bunk bed. We were happy to be able to check in early on our arrival day (for $75 we were able to check in at 1 pm). The downstairs mudroom/ski room area was well appointed--there are lots of hooks and storage including wire baskets where gloves and balaclavas had lots of air flow to dry out. There was a washer and dryer down there as well. The kitchen was also well appointed--with plenty of pans, dishes, and spices. We turned the hot tub temperature down to a kid-safe 100 degrees and our kids enjoyed it after ski school every day--it has a great view of the mountains. We also enjoyed the fireplace and watched quite a bit of the ACC basketball tournament. And our kids watched quite a few movies from the big leather sofas too. We would definitely stay here again!

Awesome condo, but service from maintenance/management not so good . . . .
The condo itself is great! Great location, too. Only issue was with maintenance regarding a beeping smoke alarm the first two days. Night 1 it started beeping about 12::30 am and 3 times we changed batteries to no avail. Called maintenance and basically said they would notify management the next morning. Finally resolved about 3:00 pm that day. BUT about 6:00 pm the same day, a different alarm started beeping! Had to call maintenance and explained the preceding night’s Issue and was told I would be placed on an “urgent” list for resolution. 18 hours later, someone finally came to “resolve” the issue. Must have a different definition of “urgent”. Needless to say, out of a 5 night stay, the first 2 were NOT pleasant as no one could sleep with 8 - 10 beeps per hour!

Wonderful Deer Valley Ski Vacation
This place was really well-equipped, clean, and in a nice location. The Deer Valley Shuttle was easy to use for skiing, and the grocery store plus downtown were a few minutes away driving. The beds were very comfortable, and we enjoyed the hot tub every day after skiing. This was the perfect set up for our group. We'd definitely stay again!

Love this home
This is our 2nd stay in this house and we love it. It has plenty of space, it's modern and clean. Getting in and out is easy . During big storm we had to take a shuttle that took almost 40 m to wait but the snow was everywhere. One thing to note - house has windows in the ceiling and it get light early in am. So if you like sleeping in bring eye mask. We drove car to make getting in and out easy. But it's doable without it too. Shuttles are all over !

Had a great time at the property. Quite location. Great kitchen island and family room. Enjoyed the view from the outside hot tub. Shuttle service was excellent - quick turnaround time, very friendly. Overall, we really enjoyed our ski vacation.

Amazing!
The home was beautiful, comfortable and had everything we needed. Fully stocked kitchen made snacks and breakfasts a pleasure to prep. The hot tub and deck were beautiful and got great sun. The master suite was so comfortable and the bathroom complete with heated floors was hard to leave. Great location with shuttle!Thank you for sharing your home with us! Highly recommend this home!

Great place to stay
We absolutely loved our stay in this house during the ski week 2022. We are a family of 4: kids 11 & 13. Everyone had plenty of space. House is clean, spacious, very comfortable with plenty of everything in the kitchen to cook. There are two super comfy couches in the living room. Massive master bathroom. Great jacuzzi that works and place was very clean. Comfortable beds to enjoy your stay. A few things to mention. The house is on top of the hill so if snowing, I would recommend 4 wheel drive. You can park the car inside of the garage. There is shuttle in the complex, but we didn't use it as it comes every 30 min. The bus on the main street is ~10m walk from the house down the hill. It was not a big deal for us as we had the car. Getting to and from the mountain is easy as well as to and from the city for easy dining or food pickup. Communication with the management company was easy ( by email). If you like to sleep in the dark, bring face masks as rooms have skylight and light comes through the window. The bedding is not down but rather regular blankets - we would have loved to have down for temp control, but not a big deal. Overall, in 5 years this was probably our favorite place to stay and we will def come again.

Perfect Location
This property was so great. Location is close to downtown Historic Park City town lift and Deer Valley. The living room was super comfortable. The fireplace and view from the big windows gave a cozy mountain home ambience. Would 100% recommend this property to anyone visiting the area

5-Star Stay!
I stayed at this great property Easter weekend with my husband and another couple and we had an absolutely amazing time! The townhouse format allows for privacy on every level. As we were all working from home, we could spread out in the large 2nd floor area and work from 2 different tables and the large island. It was also nice to have the 2 bedrooms on a separate floor from the master suite. Speaking of the master suite, the master bath is INCREDIBLE. HUGE jacuzzi tub, equally large separate shower, and HEATED FLOORS. SO nice for those cold winter mornings! We also loved the hot tub which was directly on the 2nd floor (living room) deck. Getting to the bottom of Deer Valley was very easy. There's an app (much like Uber) you use to request a shuttle that arrives within 5 minutes. Because of Covid, only one household is allowed on the shuttle and there was a plexiglass barrier between our party and the driver. It was so convenient and quick! On Sunday, it was in the high 50's, so we had a very pleasant 15-20 min walk into downtown Park City. Love that the location is close to both Deer Valley and Park City! Will definitely stay here again!

I loved staying here! It was so cozy. They layout and bedding was perfect for our needs. The bathrooms were clean and so nice!!! I loved how it was tucked into the mountain and more private too. Definitely would stay here again!
