Wonderful, private Bird Sanctuary

Cute tiny house with about everything you need. The view and bird life is all around you. Very peaceful and relaxing place. The steps to the upstairs could be a problem for those afraid of heights or older folks. For us it added to the vibe. Enjoyed it very much!

Tranquil and Beautiful

The Lighthouse was cozy, quiet, and peaceful. If you like nature and solitude, I highly recommend a stay here. Tracy was a great host, easy to contact and accommodating to our needs. It is a little slice of heaven on earth.

Gorgeous Location!

Stayed here with my bff for a girl's weekend. The location is beyond gorgeous and so serene and peaceful. We could have sat on the swing under one of the huge, beautiful weeping willows the whole weekend! We saw the northern lights, the milky way and gorgeous sunsets. The lighthouse was small but cozy and had a super comfy bed. We had a visit one night from one of the hosts cats, which just made our trip! (We called him Full English Breakfast 😂 but his name was O'reo.) Only real drawback is the spiders at night, but it is right on the water, so not much to be done about it. The host did provide spider spray and the issue was mostly with the deck at night and not too bad inside the lighthouse itself. I hate spiders but can definitely say it was worth it! Great bird watching, host provided binoculars, which was a nice touch. You cannot really swim here, it is too shallow and grassy, but we had a lot of fun kayaking with the provided kayaks and a beach is only a 30 min drive away. All the fun in Bay City is about 20 min away and then you can come back and relax! We absolutely loved it and I would definitely return, possibly with significant other as it seemed like it could be a very romantic experience (the guest book was full of notes from people that spent their honeymoons and romantic vacations there). Perfect quiet night in with beautiful views and accommodations

A night getaway with my partner in between summer activities with the kids and back to school busyness. Beautiful, beautiful. Couldn’t have enjoyed it more. Peaceful reading, card games, and an evening fire and porch swing.

Perfect for a recharge

I enjoyed my momcation away by myself. It was a perfect place To recharge. I saw Eagles both mornings, Tons of birdwatching and just enjoyed being in the moment. Cute little lighthouse perfect for the solo traveler or couple looking to get away.

Eloped at Eagle Point

What an amazing weekend. Property owner was gracious enough to allow us to have our elopement here at Eagle Point lighthouse and we stayed for the weekend. Absolutely loved how cozy it was and can’t wait to come back and watch more wildlife and reminisce our wedding day!

What a beautiful spot!

The light house provided a great spot to stop for the evening on our travel south. We were able to relax in the sun and enjoy a one of a kind private view of lake Huron. The house itself is great for two. Would recommend and will hopefully be back!

Perfect stay

I came with my husband to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. The lighthouse was cozy and so gorgeous. It was perfect for bird watching and enjoying the rain that came through on our second day. We saw two bald eagles and Tracy even messaged us to make sure we saw the one when we got back from dinner. I was worried it might be stuffy sleeping upstairs but they had a fan available and having all the windows open really helped to make it comfortable. Honestly it was such a great experience and I would love to stay here again!

Special little spot

As parents of a 2 year and 2 month old, my husband and I needed to getaway to somewhere peaceful. This little lighthouse was just what the doctor ordered!! The location being surrounded by the water and all the different birds was so beautiful. We had the privacy we had hoped for. Made it so easy to sit outside all day and enjoy the sunshine. The lighthouse itself is decorated so cute! The details in the layout make so much sense once you’re in there and moving around. Every amenity you could think you’d need were already there. Even firewood was provided for us. Tracy was a wonderful host. She answered any questions we had pop up and even provided us fresh eggs from her hens when I asked her where we could find Fran fresh eggs to have for breakfast. Delivered to our doorstep in a cute basket, but again she totally respected our privacy and made herself very hidden We’d love to come back and stay in the fall time. This place was so special for us to getaway to for a couple nights!

Great Remote location, tinier than expected

This was lovely and I would come again, especially for the bird watching! It was pretty small though and rather hot. Not all the windows had screens, so we couldn't open them all to let the breeze through. Still, we enjoyed it very much! Thank you!!

The room was not as advertised. It was sooo much better! What a delightful place (and host). It was all we hoped for and more (including the eagle sightings!). We could not have had a better stay! Highly recommend.

Quaint, cute and quiet...

We were looking for something quiet and by the water for a long weekend and this was perfect. Very secluded and peaceful. Close enough to town for groceries yet remote enough so you feel removed from it all. Tracy was wonderful and helpful. It is a small space but you don't really notice it. A unique experience that will stay with you for sure.

What an experience!

We had the best time staying in an unique location and building — a lighthouse!! The view was amazing, the inside of the lighthouse was beautifully renovated, and all the necessary amenities (fire pit, swing, outdoor chairs, s’mores makings, shampoo/ conditioner, etc.) were provided for. I strongly recommend this place as you won’t be disappointed plus it’s a lighthouse! How many times will you get the chance to stay in a lighthouse? It was the best experience and stay. Also, Tracy (the owner) was so accommodating and took great care of us. All around, this place gets two thumbs from me and then some.
