Fairytale Loft is one of seven fully renovated suite located within the Belmont Farmhouse just 1 block off "downtown" Belmont. It offers 1 bed, 1bath. Excellent location, on a quiet street, and within a minutes walk to some of the area's best restaurants (MAS, The Local, Tavola, Belle, Conmole) and about a 10 -15 minute walk to the highly sought after Downtown Mall (pedestrian). It offers 1 bed, 1bath on the top (3rd) floor of the building.

The white and airy decor of our Fairytale Loft Suite, offset with the dainty metallic fixtures, original heart pine floors, and soothing blue rug, make your stay here feel magical. This quiet and romantic loft suite features a King bed and lace hammock positioned by the window with views of the mountains in the distance - a great spot to recline and unwind. The charming bathroom includes a custom-designed tiled shower and a few other unique touches that complement the rest of the suite.

Great Location!

Easy walk to downtown pedestrian mall and restaurants and was perfect for a weekend getaway. On street parking was no problem and the building is quiet though there is some Saturday night noise from restaurants in Belmont.

Very quite neighborhood, room was comfortable and plenty of space for my wife and me. Walkung distance to boutique restaurant and small stores in the Belmont area of C-Ville. Short distance from I64. In ever in the area, will book at thus location.

Amazing hidden gem

Great location!

A couple blocks from the downtown pedestrian mall, this location was backing to 5 amazing restaurants that were better than downtown. The room was great, bed was hard if that is something that bothers you but exactly what we were looking for for the weekend!

The location of the room was ideal, it was just a couple of blocks from restaurants, and a short walk across the bridge to the downtown area. The room was clean and well maintained. It was ideal for what we needed.

A place made for a Princess (me)!

I really enjoyed my stay at the Fairytale Loft Suite! I was in town for a presentation and this was the perfect place for me to unwind and get some rest--as well as prep the night before. The host was very communicative, accommodating and helpful! Very quiet and very comfortable. Also, as a historic preservationist, I was loving the decor and attention to details! Would stay here again!!!

Great Access to Belmont Neighborhood

Nice walking distance to great Belmont resteraunts. The entry code for our room did not work when we tried to check in at 9PM, but the person on the phone fixed it immediately. Nice comfortable room.

This is an absolutely DARLING loft in a very quiet neighborhood..... many of the homes in the neighborhood date back 100 years or more (!) and there are fresh gardens - both flowers and vegetables - EVERYWHERE!! Some might call it "bohemian", but mostly it's just BEAUTIFUL and NATURAL. I will definitely rent this loft again on my next visit to Charlottesville :-)

Great location, charming room

Charming house and room located steps from Tavola, Mas, and other Belmont restaurants. Room had everything we needed, though the A/C unit was slow to cool the unit during the heat of the day. (85ish outside.)

Very nice Fairytale

Nice place! We enjoyed our stay and the peace and quiet. House is near shops and nice restaurants (Local, Mockingbird, etc.). Parking is on street but usually available. The morning glories are very pretty-almost neon. We will look to stay again in the future. Thank you! (Note: coffee tray could have been a bit more stocked.)

My husband and I got away for the weekend. This location was perfect for us. The room and bathroom were exactly how it’s pictured. We have already talked about doing this all over again. Highly recommend. In walking distance to so many good restaurants, shopping and bars. Hiking 5-10 minutes away. Very close to the hop on tour that you can leave your car and walk to pick up location.

Fantastic Location

Very safe, walkable location. We walked to all nearby restaurants and the campus. You could hear the other neighbors through the walls but overall not too loud. The only negative thing is the sink is TINY - the size of a football tiny.

Precious Suite

Loved staying in the fairytale suite on the 3rd floor of the Belmont Farmhouse in late July, 2022. My son daughter-in-law and infant granddaughter stayed in a one bedroom suite on the first floor. Having the upper floor suite allowed the young family privacy…though they loved bringing the baby to the 3rd floor for the views and the hammock. On-street parking was easy. A/C worked well…being an attic suite during extreme heat wave, it would get a little warm in late afternoon but, cooled off quickly in the evening. Suite was missing Apple TV control. Most of the farmhouse suites are occupied by long-term, young professional tenants….travel nurses, professors, etc… Enjoyed and plan to return soon!
