This vacation was perfect. The home was beautiful and clean. Pool was a hit with all 13 of us! The weather and beach was wonderful. We got up every morning for the beautiful sun rise! When we come back to Orange Beach I would love to stay here again.

You’ll be glad you booked!

The house is big, clean, spacious, and inviting! Beyond that- the location is ideal 2 min walk to the beautiful beach! The pool the house shares is big and great for families. We enjoyed the stay so much and would absolutely rent again if we came to Orange Beach again!

Perfect Vacation Spot

Southern Splendor was a perfect vacation spot for our family of 16. There was plenty of room for us to gather for meals, playing games or just sitting and visiting with everyone. The patio was great to enjoy morning coffee and relaxing. The property managers were wonderful to work with and were very good about responding to any questions or issues you might have. We all throughly enjoyed our beach vacation!

Another Fun Week at Southern Splendor

Family vacation

The house was very nice, a very short walk to pool and beach. Private beach was not crowded. The pool was perfect for our 18 month old granddaughter. I would recommend this house.

Perfect location and home

Our family of 14 stayed in Southern Splendor for 6 nights and it was such a wonderful experience. The home was so spacious yet everyone had their own space to go to! The kitchen was well equipped with everything you could need to fix meals and a huge refrigerator/freezer. We loved the deck overlooking the beautiful pool. The home is just a short walk to the beach so very handy. The owners were so kind and quick to reply to a couple small questions we had. We would definitely recommend this home!

The community is perfect for all ages and has an amazing pool for little ones. The kitchen was better equipped this year as well as basic cleaning essentials. We were at then end of the season so as expected the upholstery looked like then end of the season as well as the only rug in the house. But I think it was a great week at this lovely home

Perfect family home

This house was a great fit for our family retreat. We stayed with our children and grandchildren. Every room had its own bathroom. Beds were very comfortable and everything was very clean. The TV in the main room wasn’t working right but I think it was fixed after we left. I would definitely come back in warmer weather. The pool and beach were very close. It was just too cold for us to spend time in the pool.

Amazing property

Family down for sons wedding. Location was great. Close to beach. Amenities were great. Property was amazing with plenty of room and baths for everyone. 100% recommend and will look at this property again in the summer.

Great location! Close to pool and beach!

Nice house. Everything we needed except a gas grill! Plenty of refrigerator and freezer space. Great deck. Plenty of beds. Furniture, bedspreads, blinds and bathroom door locks needed fixed or replaced. Living room rug and furniture was quite dirty. Maybe a good cleaning more than once a year would be a good idea!

August Family Vacay

We had 8 adults and 2 two year olds. The home was laid out very well with adequate seating at dinning tables and the main living room. The main porch was a hangout place for us as well. The property is great with just steps to a kid friendly large pool and only a short walk to the beach. If you cook a lot, I would recommend bringing a large pot or two, some storage containers and you will need regular coffee filters or Kcups. Also, we could not find a broom but there was a vacuum.

Great Place!

Southern Splendor is a lovely beach house. The floor plan worked well for our 3 generations and the furnishings are comfortable. We’ve stayed in this development before, so we knew the pool is SO kid friendly and the beach is a short walk away. The owner was prompt in responding when we had an internet glitch; she sent her handyman out right away and he was very helpful. This was a great spot for a one week getaway with our children and grandchildren. Thanks Meagen!!

House very dirty. Furniture dirty. Kitchen not well stocked. Many outlets don’t work. Light bulbs burnt out. Ice maker sucks. Small TV. No ceiling fans on patio. For what we paid, everything should be clean and in working order and it wasn’t.
