If you feel like dancing, we have live music at the three great bars near the Casita that are less than 2 miles away, Frankie's Beach Bar & Grill, the Jolly Mon and the Brewery, are only 5 minutes from the Casita. There is also live music downtown, but if you don't feel like driving, those mentioned are only minutes away.

Minimum booking is 2 nights, maximum booking 5 nights unless previously approved by Owner. Casa de Katalina is a great place for a couple or an individual to stay and get away from the hustle bustle of Mexicali, Ensenada, Yuma or San Diego or anywhere else for that matter!

Let us accommodate your stay to San Felipe, Baja California, Mexico. LA CASITA sleeps 2 people. Sunrises are incredible creeping up over the horizon of the Sea of Cortez. The magnificent sunsets to the west on the La Sierra San Pedro Martir Mountains are memorable. When it's time for a Full Moon you will be in for a treat as it comes up over the Sea. If you are here during the full moon El Dorado Ranch offers bocce on the beach to visitors (and that would be you) with FREE Mexican Hotdogs. Yummy!!! It's a FUN event and a fantastic place to watch the moon rise in all its glory and meet folks from the EDR community. It could easily make your stay at Casa de Katalina a memorable experience!

En el app de la señora katrina dice una informacion incorrecta,para rnganchar ala jente pone k la cacita esta a 7 minutos de la playa cual no es verdad tiene una dirección falsa,te rejistra en un lugar donde no esta la propiedad, te regresa como 10 kilometros al decieto a una comunidad k parese laverinto.muy caro pague a expedia mas de 300 dolares x 2 dias y la verdad ni ocupe su casita ,muy desagradable la verdad no pongan propiedades k no soy como las pintan eso es un fraude .

We thoroughly enjoyed our stayed at Casa Katalina! Katalina is such a great host and welcoming. Katrina (her dog) is also a great host and welcoming. The space is better than what the photos show and had everything you need if you enjoy cooking “at home”. Katalina gave us great suggestions for local activities and places to visit. This rental space is very secure, relaxing, quiet with great views! We will definitely be back again! Thank you for everything Katalina & see you soon! <3 Irene & Abraham

Terrrific Lodging, Terrific Host

Upon my arrival, the host had waiting for me the rented room completely impeccably clean, with a complete kitchen and comfortable bed. The host also shared with me details about the local area such as good restaurants and bars. I highly recommend this lodging if you want to remove yourself from daily pressure. The property is not located right on the beach, instead it is located perhaps 3 kilometers/1.5 miles from the ocean. Still, it is only 15 minutes from downtown San Felipe, is clean, safe, and has a wonderful host. Book it. You will not be disappointed.

Beautiful place in the middle of the dessert. Excellent view and weather.

Casa Katalina is a perfect place for a couple, a unique casita with everything we need for a relax weekend. Owner an excellent hostess.

Former owner of an Arizona ranch for over 10 years, The 4Lucky7 Ranch, Ms. Goforth boarded horses and also managed a seasonal condo rental that was nearby the ranch. She lived and loved the Western lifestyle of Arizona for almost 20 years. Thus, the Old West theme of the Casita. Katalina's trek started in Seattle, WA and just kept moving further south until she arrived in San Felipe. Covid and fresh seafood were heavy influences that led her to retire early by the Sea of Cortez where she owns a lovely home with an adjacent Casita. Katalina wishes to share her wonderful find with kind, generous, animal loving, clean and appreciative people. She is a great host, great cook, loves people, loves to dance and camping is an extra-longed for treat. Katalina loves an adventure out in to the unknown. Please come visit the Casa de Katalina. She guarantees you will want to come back to stay at the Ranch again in the future.

Requirements are to be notified ahead of time of all names of people staying. The make, model, color of your vehicle is required along with your Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA). We are are 24/7 gated community and need to provide details to Ranch Security with the details requested for entrance. and departure. Minimum stay is 2 nights, 3 days. Maximum stay is 5 nights, 6 days. I allot 3 days in between stays to clean and regroup. Children are allowed with certain restrictions. Pets allowed with strict restrictions. Extra payment for additional services will be requested in CASH (USD or pesos) at time of arrival before key is presented. Please note: this is a SMOKE AND DRUG FREE ENVIRONMENT and it is strictly enforced. We ask that you please be respectful of that rule on this property. Gracias amigos!
