My wife and I loved this little cabin in the woods. The process for getting into the cabin was straightforward, and the host was very responsive to questions and assistance. Fireplaces were supposed to be working by Oct, but neither was working, so service person was there in a few hours to restart the pilots, and we were good to go. Cabin has everything we needed as far as bedding and towels, and never had to go shop for something such as household goods, kitchen items, etc. It was all there. A nice secluded cabin in the woods, and was very quiet and quaint. Nice to have modern facilities (internet, etc) in a rustic cabin. A binder was easily accessible with instructions on how to use fireplaces, thermostat, etc, so no stress there. The one thing I will say, which is more of a "be aware" versus a problem, is that the driveway off the main road is very steep, and requires a steep sharp left turn (right turn is another cabin, so be aware) to get to cabin to park. Similarly steep sharp turns to get from cabin to main road. Our rental was a Ford Mustang (not the SUV we asked Avis for) but we lucked out that the climb did not result in damage to front or sides of car scraping the pavement on the tight steep turn. Would have been no problem with a truck or SUV. This was our first try at a VRBO, so good first impression of the system.
