Northern Lights Unit 42

This 4-bedroom ski-in/ski-out townhome seamlessly combines modern high-tech features and cozy comforts. Enjoy a warm atmosphere with open kitchen and living area, fireplace and hidden projection screen. Enjoy the 8-person hot tub on the patio and relax in the media room with a queen Murphy bed. The two-vehicle garage offers convenience, and there's parking for 4 more in the driveway and visitors spots. Stay comfortable year-round with forced air heating, air conditioning, and humidity control.

Newly decorated throughout, this spacious and beautiful end unit townhome in Northern Lights is a fantastic location for proximity to the village and ski hill. Fully loaded with 4-bedrooms + flexible den bedroom/media room to sleep up to 12 adults + 2 children.

The open concept kitchen and living area is warm and welcoming with gas fireplace, and a large projection screen that is hidden in the ceiling. Dine up to 10 guests at the beautiful live-edge dining table, and an additional 4 at the bar.  Conveniently watch the big game inside, or from the super large 8-person hot tub located on one of the two patios off of the living room. Relax on the sectional patio furniture in the summer months.  Also on this split-level is the kids bunk room with a queen bed on the bottom, and single on top with shared full bathroom accessible as an ensuite.

Upstairs is a master suite with king bed and deluxe ensuite with walk-in shower. Down a level from the main floor are two more spacious bedrooms; the first is a second master bedroom a king bed and small patio, and the other with a king bed as well as another queen/twin bunk bed combo.  All bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms complete with towel warmers and automatic bidet toilets (only one with bathtub), as well as one HD-TV and in-wall speakers allowing everyone to retreat and relax in their own spaces as desired.

On the lowest level is a media room with a large sectional sofa, smart television and surround sound.  The built-in media centre has a queen pulldown Murphy bed to convert the den into a 5th bedroom.

Enter through the garage door with your skis, where there is space for 2 vehicles and all of your winter gear to hang and warm up before your next ski day.  This unit includes an oversized laundry machines in the large laundry room.  Live in comfort year-round with forced air heat, air-conditioning and humidity control.

Northern Lights Whistler Ski Access:
When it’s time to hit the slopes, Northern Lights provides ski access to the base of Whistler Mountain where guests can enjoy lift access to both Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains. The walk to the ski out is best suited to active and adventurous skiers who enjoy a warm-up before getting their turns in. To access the ski out, guests can climb the 100 step staircase located in the middle of the Northern Lights neighbourhood before hiking up the ski trail to Lower Olympic, an easy green run. After a day of skiing, guests can use this same ski access to ski in to the top of the 100 step staircase leading back to the Northern Lights neighbourhood.

There is parking for 2 vehicles in the garage and 2 on the driveway. Guest parking is also available.

Only arrivals/departures on Dec 26/27/28/29th will be considered. If you instant book and the dates do not work, we reserve the right to cancel. Midstay cleans are mandatory on any booking at/over 7 nights.

We travel every year for a ski trip and our biggest factor in choosing a place is whether it is ski in/out. Despite the claim on the listing, this is anything but that. It is a great place. Other than the hot tub pumps not working properly and the light in one of the bathrooms would not turn off, this place had all of the amenities you need. The kitchen is fully stocked, the bathrooms all have bidets (neat touch), has great smart home technology, and the staff couldn't have been more accommodating. However, it is up a long street, far from the very steep steps that take you up to a hill that allows you to ski into the village. It is not conducive to walking in boots and carrying skis. We had to drive into town every day and park in a pay lot. Besides that, it is a great place.

Wonderful Stay

Our experience with Premium Experiences Whistler was seamless. Very professional. The property was immaculately clean, well appointed and well stocked. Highly Recommended Whistler Resort Home

This was the perfect location if you're looking to be to the base of Whistler resort within a couple of minutes drive, or a 10 minute walk. Property was very well maintained. The neighborhood was very quiet. The home was stocked better than any other vrbo we've stayed at. The hot tub was huge and our whole group was able to enjoy this amenity. The property manager was quick to respond with any questions that we had. I'd definitely stay here again, we were so happy with this booking!

Great place for family vacation

Excellent location very close to the main village. There is quite a steep hill up to the property, so the grandparents staying with us did need help going up and down (via car). Huge place with lots of space for everyone. Excellent kitchen with lots of plates/utensils/appliances. Very handy to have a washer and dryer. Lots of thoughtful details. There was a lot of tech (eg auto lights and toilet seats) that took a little getting used to. The best part was the great room which had a table that easily accomodated our large group. So nice to be able to host a large extended family group all together. Overall we had a great time at this property.

Wonderful property

Thoroughly enjoyed staying at this beautiful home, close to the village. It had a well equipped kitchen, and was very cozy in a beautiful setting nestled around trees. Management was great with check-in and check out.

Great location to host a large group!

This is a great location for a large group wanting to ski and spend quality time with friends. We had a group pf 10 friends that all went to enjoy some spring skiing and celebrate three of our birthdays. We were able to go out in the village and get to the slopes easily. We would often walk to the village during the day and get taxis at night since there are several S turns down the road you have to walk down to get to the village. We found Taxis were the easiest to use at night to go out and return home. Also note that the neighborhood has a 10PM quiet time policy. There is an incredible SONOS sound system built into the house with some good base, but since the house is a duplex style home the neighbors will feel the base too. Avoid our mistake of bugging the neighbors and either turn down the volume at 10PM or turn stop using the system. The hot tub is also an incredible feature since it is very large which worked great after a long day of skiing. I definitely recommend this location and we will likely consider it again for future group ski vacations!

Located just 800m from the village and both the Whistler and Blackcomb gondola bases, you are close enough to walk, and just far enough away to quietly retreat to your mountain oasis. It's technically ski-in/out which is fantastic, albeit with a warm-up hike in. The home has been newly decorated for the 2020 ski season throughout and I am sure you will enjoy.
