Stay in the heart of Oshkosh in our newly remodeled Aviation themed home, "The Hangar." This is a perfect getaway with a large upgraded modern kitchen and a large living space with foosball and board games. Open concept with a 65 inch smart tv in the living room! There are 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms downstairs including a master suite with king size bed with master bath. Upstairs, there are 3 bedrooms each with queen beds, a full bathroom, and a kitchenette. All rooms have smart tv's in them! All new windows that let in great lighting, enjoy reading a book on the window seat on a nice afternoon. Large lawn yard for entertaining. Two car garage along with a driveway for plenty of parking. Walking distance to a coffee shop, restaurants, and beautiful South Park. Less than a mile away from Menominee Nation Arena and less than 3 miles from EAA.

Nice, large house!

The house was the perfect size for our party of 8 adults and 2 children. We had room for other friends to visit as well. Parking was good, especially with the use of the garage. We would stay again!

Perfect for us

We were in town for a family event south of Oshkosh. The bedrooms and layout were perfect and it was a really convenient location for us. Very clean and beds were comfy.

Excellent house!

The house was very spacious! Our team was really happy to be able to stay all together instead of spreading out in a hotel! And less expensive! Very easy to communicate with the owner. The only reason I gave only 4 stars for location/neighborhood was the parking. We had 7 cars so had to shuffle around a little so we weren’t parking on the side of the road. We were laughing about how big the closets were upstairs, they were like another bedroom!! Awesome place to stay for a bigger group!

This home was perfect for our family gathering! Though there is a bit of wear on the outside of the house, everything inside was clean and in good shape. We had plenty of room for privacy as well as spaces to be together. Owner made check-in and check-out easy.

Wonderful home

The host was very good to work with. The house smelled like animal tribe the first day we cleaned up a bit and after cooking some food the smell went away. The gist will alert the cleaning person ti yo their game. The place is so nice to stay and this little bump in the road was workable, just surprising at first. Loved the outdoor space to hang out. Suited out needs well

Landing at The Hangar!

We landed at The Hangar for our college reunion. What a treat to have a 5 bedroom, 3 bath property which was as described in the listing. Communication with the host was always excellent. We can't wait to book it again for next year! It was the perfect home for our group to relax, unwind, and renew friendships.

It’s advertised to sleep 12. Sleep is accurate!!! I reserved for 11. Not enough towels, not enough dishes, not enough garbage bags & not enough dining area. Maybe enough for 6 or 8 max.The worst part was that I ended up finishing the laundry I found in the dryer & washer from the previous renters. Then we had enough towels!! I’m glad we rented for only 3 nights. We won’t be back!!!

Great Family Option / Quiet Neighborhood

This completely updated older home in an established neighborhood was perfect for our Thanksgiving visit. Young adults upstairs and my mom and me on the first floor. Mattresses were all comfy and the showers hot. The Keurig's (both upstairs and down) were a hit. This property is located in a lovely quiet neighborhood and is relatively close to interstate access. Being November, and cold, we did not take advantage of the park that is close by. It was a perfect location for us, having to shuttle to the Appleton airport a few times. Our host was helpful and detailed in our communication. Would definitely stay at The Hanger again.

Nice Place

We enjoyed the stay, the place was comfortable though the air didn't work well upstairs. I appricated the extra shampoo, conditioners, body wash, garbage bags, detergent, etc around. Even though there were TVs in each room, the remotes didn't work well and would skip a bunch of buttons so you couldn't select anything. It made it hard to turn on shows for us and the kids.

Perfect Stay

Every year, our band takes a weekend to review the previous year's successes, challenges, happenings, etc... and we usually rent a different home each and every year. This year we decided to reserve this wonderfully updated property for our relaxing, yet productive, time away. As I always do, I started the process with reaching out to the home owner / manager, which usually tells me quite a bit about whether or not this is the right home for us. David was VERY responsive, VERY helpful, VERY informative, and VERY respectful. The trip to Oshkosh went well and the house was just as shown on the property listing. Clean, stocked, welcoming and easy to get to. It's also close to stores and other needs in Oshkosh. The neighborhood was quiet and the with the property located on a corner it was perfectly positioned to allow us to enter and leave easily as needed. Kitchen is big. All the bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and ready for all of us. Towels and bathroom supplies were stocked and ready to roll! I encourage anyone looking for simplicity, cleanliness, and a welcoming vibe to jump ALL over this property. You can't go wrong.
