Our home is professionally cleaned after every check out so you can feel comfortable in a clean and sanitized environment. Bahia Beach Retreat is a SELF-SERVE destination, guests are advised to bring their own consumables. What do we provide? We provide towels, linens, a fully equipped kitchen and all furnishings. Utilities, free Wi-Fi, free Parking and access to all amenities! Additionally, when we prepare the home for our guests, our cleaning crew leaves a roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, 1 paper towel roll in the kitchen, 3 trash bags, dish detergent, 1 sponge and hand soaps .

Little Harbor is a Family Friendly Community full of private amenities and activities for our guests! This home is only a 2 minute ride down to the Private Beach and all amenities, including Pools, Restaurants, Bars, Tennis Courts, Pickle Ball Courts, Kayak/Paddle Board Launch, etc.

Are you hungry? You have options! Hooks Bar & Grille offers a full lunch and dinner menu with indoor and outdoor seating. Don't want to miss the Sunset? Walk down to the Tiki Bar and Sunset Grille! Stay for the live music or walk down to the pier to catch an amazing sunset with incredible skyline views of Tampa and St. Petersburg! Kick off your shoes and walk down our beach, private and family friendly.

A wonderful trip

Lindsey is a wonderful host. The townhouse is nice, clean and has everything you could need for your stay including beautiful views from the living room outside deck (one of 4) of a cove where we watched manatee. Little Harbor is a wonderful place with a beach, two restaurants and fantastic sunsets. This was the second time we have stayed here and we already have reservations for next year. The perfect home away from home!

My husband and I stayed at Lindsey's fabulous unit for the month of November. Our grown children & grandchildren joined us for 2 of the weeks and the space was perfect for two sets of adults and the grand kids. We enjoyed watching the manatees during our morning coffee and throughout the day. The location was a perfect jumping off spot to Siesta Key, St. Petersburg and Tampa. The beach and pool are so relaxing and a short walk from the unit. The use of the golf cart was also appreciated! We took advantage of the tiki room and bbq as well. Lindsey is a super host who responds quickly to any questions or concerns. I would highly recommend this unit for long term stays!

Magnificent Sunsets

Location: If you aren't a boater there really isn't much to do locally. Even the restaurants out side of the property are really just basic. There are a few gems out there to drive to. You really need to drive to see nice beaches, which we did do, 50 min. from Anna Marie Is., 50 min. away from Treasure Isl. I guess we were spoiled being able to be in the heart of a beach location, which this really was not as the beach was rather small, dark water and seaweed. There were no rentals such as jet skies as the sign indicates on the description of the site. Perhaps it was the time of year that we went. If you are truly looking for rest and relaxation this may just be for you. The sunsets when not cloudy are really worth seeing down by the beach area. I do not think this area sprays for bugs as other areas such as Clearwater and Indian Rocks does so beware of the bites. For the the townhouse itself it was nice & quaint, 3 bedrooms & baths were definitely a plus. One thing I would suggest is putting better pictures up of the rooms as it is hard to gage the size of the rooms by the close up pictures that are on the site. I did feel the main living space was pretty small. Another suggestion is to state that there are 2 flights of stairs in this townhouse, in case you have people joining you who have trouble doing stairs. Lindsey, the owner was very nice and accommodating. She even over-nighted beach towels to us when I could not find them.

Family Vacation

My family loved this place. My 18 year old daughter had her own bathroom for the first time in her life … she was thrilled. Plenty of room and located in a secure safe area. When it was time to leave … the kids were begging to stay a little longer. It was really a home away from home. The host of this property is special … staying in contact … sharing tips … very welcoming. If the opportunity arises … we would not hesitate to book this location again.

One important note: I wouldn't recommend this rental for anyone who has trouble with stairs. There is a steep flight to get to the main level and a 2nd flight to get to the primary bedrooms. Outside of the stairs, we LOVED this rental. The space was adorable & super convenient. The beds were comfy; there were so many kitchen utensils & handy beach things. The bar area & golf cart were great bonuses! It was clean and offered everything we expected. Watching the manatees off the patio is no joke - we saw them playing every morning! Outside of the physical location & building, what made this rental far & away one of the best we've ever stayed in was the host, Lindsey. When we ran into last minute unexpected changes with our trip, she was incredibly understanding, empathetic, responsive, and so helpful. Lindsey's fantastic customer service continued once we made it to the condo: We ran into a couple of small issues that we let her know about right away. In no time at all, she responded, offered solutions, but was also very respectful of our time - not wanting to take away from our vacation. Lindsey was simply amazing & hands down the best vacation rental host we've ever had. We will definitely be back to Ruskin. Thank you again for everything Lindsey! ❤️

Little Harbor - A Hidden Jewel!

Could not ask for more! The property was as advertised, just wonderful! The resort itself and the two restaurants are excellent. Best fish and chips I have ever had at Hooks, and the grilled shrimp skewers at Sunset Grill are simply awesome! We have been to Little Harbor many times, and we still love it. This townhouse was great as well. Everything we needed, and then some. Great view of the Manatees hanging out in the marina every day. Just too cool. And finally, our host, Lindsey was terrific to work with. Very responsive and informative. If this unit is available next time we come, and we will definitely be coming back, we will book here!!! Thanks again Lindsey!!

Wonderful Vacation

We had a wonderful stay at the Bahia Beach Resort in Little Harbor. The townhouse was lovely and had everything we needed for our extended stay. The beach and Sunset Grille in Little Harbor are fun places to visit and the sunsets are incredible. The stay was made special by our host Lindsey, she is amazing and welcoming. She was quick to respond to any questions we might have and offered suggestions on things we might enjoy seeing and doing. We had such a great time that we have booked another visit for next year.

Manatees and Amazing Sunsets

This home is great if your traveling with kids. There was space for my kids to each have their own bed and enough flex space for all of to stretch you. One of our favorite parts was our morning coffee watching the Manatees swim and come up for air. This space is absolutely a hidden gem for the amazing sunsets! With a quick ride up to the beach you won’t be disappointed when you watch the amazing sunsets. Lindsey was very quick to answer any of our questions and provided lots of information on the property and of things to do. We will definitely spread the word to our family and friends for there future trips.

This was the absolute best experience I have had with VROB host! Lindsey was on top of things to say the least. Her property is gorgeous and smells so nice! That is strange to say but it was memorable so there it is. :) the location is off the beaten path but a short drive to all the beautiful beaches. I will be a returning renter for sure!

Pleasant Stay

We had a pleasant stay at this property. The communication from the owner, Lindsey, was amazing. She always responded quickly and was incredibly helpful. We had some small issues upon arrival, and Lindsey was willing to drive several hours to come correct the issues, which were minimal enough that we declined the offer. We had all we needed for a short stay, including the nice (upscale) soaps and shampoos, beach towels, k-cups, beach chairs, umbrella, etc. The golf cart was so nice to have, although the steering was a bit challenging. A few things to note: There is not an automatic icemaker in the kitchen, so if you plan on blending a lot of drinks you need to get ice. Also, the Tiki Bar and game area, while very nice, is also not accessible from inside the house as it's in the converted garage. Not a huge deal, but we had younger children and it meant that we needed to be with them at all times while in the game area. Some of the blinds are wonky and missing slats, which made the room a bit brighter in the mornings. Finally, there is a mandatory damage insurance fee (or huge deposit) which is required when booking. I have not experienced that before and when staying just a few days, made a significant difference to the total cost. All in all we had a very nice time and were very impressed with Lindsey's communication. She definitely wants her guests to have the best time possible and it shows.

The condo was clean and nicely furnished. The kitchen was well stocked. We thoroughly enjoyed the golf cart and the game room. The balconies are great! The beach area had rentals available such as umbrellas, chairs, sea-do, kayak, etc. The restaurants on property were good!

We had an excellent stay at this property! The townhouse is beautiful and very conveniently located. Lindsay was an excellent host and very responsive. We visit the area a couple times a year and will definitely look into staying here again!

This is us! Everyone has their story and we hope we can share a bit of ours with you. Jeremy and I love the water and even more so LOVE boating with our family. We found Ruskin by mistake but count our blessings daily as this is where we want to be. We currently live in Clermont, FL which has been an absolutely fantastic place to raise our family but looking into the future we need to be closer to the open water and Tampa Bay is our place to be! We have one in high school and another in middle, that time keeps getting closer and closer as our babies grow up. I wish I could stop or slow down time but since I can't, let's make the best of it!

We've upgraded and renovated the Bahia Beach Retreat living areas for the ultimate vacation. Hang out at the ground level and play some darts and hang out at the Tiki Loneki (your own personal tiki bar!). Travel up to the main level, you run into balconies over looking the water with breathe taking sunset views. Finally make it up to the top level and have yourself a quiet and relaxing moment on your personal balcony then snuggle into a nice comfy bed. Every level takes you on a different journey. Enjoy your time and leave you worries behind.
