Spent my 70th in 2019 racing a boat from Pensacola to St. Pete. My wife met me there and we drove back via Cedar Key. After spending time in St. Pete, we decided to return and hit the museums for our 30th anniversary. Covid got in the way so this was that trip. We had a ball. I chose the apartment because of proximity to downtown and the look of it. It was spectacular, great art. What you see on the website is what you get with plenty more.
A funky cool neighborhood with friendly people. Very densely populated, but everyone is respectful of walkers and parking, which is on the street. Brick roads make you drove slowly. A short walk to the bay front park where there is a beautiful walkway, arboretum, beach and the swimming center. Weather was perfect. The neighborhood is know as old North East, very safe. Reminded me of our hood in Pensacola, East Hill, and uptown New Orleans. An eclectic mix of architectural styles. Great walking. Nearer the beach reminded me of Singapore in the seventies. The only negative was a neighbors light that shone into the bedroom. They changed it out while we were there so it wasn't as bad, but the bedroom could use blackout curtains. All in all, I highly recommend it.
