Beautiful and spacious!

The property is a beautiful log home with gorgeous lake views. Location is an easy distance from several good bar/resturants and Hayward for shopping or eatting out. It was easy to find, ample parking for several large vehicles and welcomed us with a carved bear on the porch! The kitchen is well appointed with everything you might need or want including small appliances, multiple coffee makers and a fantastic gas stove! The kitchen is roomy for multiple people in the kitchen at one time. Large frig plus bar frig with enough space for a large group. There is plenty of dining space and comfy furniture to relax into in the living areas. Fun awaits in the basement game area with pool, Foosball and plenty of family board games. The bedrooms are spacious with plenty of bedding and even extra pillows. This is the PERFECT family or friends gathering spot! We are a 50s, 60s friend group, and we can't wait to return. The only thing lacking here was not enough wash cloths. We hope to return in the summer with our kayaks! I can't wait to use that 3 season porch!

The location is unbeatable, the views and lake are beautiful, and Round Lake is crystal clear. We had lots of space to spread out, the proximity to Hayward and golf courses was tops, and Mike was easy to reach when we couldn't get that oven to work. Thanks for a perfect location for us all!

Pleasant and relaxing week at the Lumberjack.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Lumberjack was as described. However, it has only one complete bathroom upstairs along with a sink in two of the bedrooms. There was plenty of room for the entire family and the lower level was great for the grandchildren to play. Grocery store is conveniently located. Outside we enjoyed rides on the pontoon boat, eating on the patio, fishing, using the fire pit and watching the eagles soar above the lake. Kids had fun using the kayaks and paddle board. Overall our stay was pleasant and we found the Lumberjack to be a nice place for the whole family to be together.

Great House and Fantastic Lake

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was all great. The rental company was super quick to respond and available all the time. The house is really nice.We did have a couple issues, but they did not inhibit our time.The one thing - they got a TON of snow this year, and we need all of our 4WD’s to get up the driveway. One friend had a two-wheel drive, and we had to shovel the whole driveway and then winch him out at the top. Understandable given the massive amount of snow, but that was an issue.Oh, and there is a great bar and supper club within 2-300 yards from the house, which was really nice. Had a great dinner there.

Perfect lakeside vacation

We enjoyed a wonderful week at the Lumberjack Lodge with a group of friends. The house has multiple spaces for lounging and activities indoors and outdoors. There were plenty of comfortable bedrooms for everyone across three floors in the house. The kitchen included everything we needed to make meals for our group. The location is on a quiet cove, great for exploring with the house kayaks or for listening to the symphony of bullfrogs at night. We rented a pontoon through the hosts (highly recommended!) and enjoyed swimming, fishing and relaxing on beautiful Round Lake. This was an ideal spot for our summer get-together.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was clean and orderly. Big enough that my three part family could maintain privacy and yet have great interaction. Info from staff was great and understandable. There were a couple issues, no fault of staff, that were addressed quickly and effeciently, by staff members. This experience was uplifting to our family and brought all of us together. One of the few times I was not ready to go home.

New Year’s Eve

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay at the Lumberjack Lodge over New Year’s Eve was amazing. Our families had plenty of room to spread out on the 3 levels. The upper loft was great set up for kids gaming on the tv. And the lower level with pool table and foosball offers many fun competitions. And the comfortable beautiful main living area was great for lounging for morning coffee and watching some football in the afternoon/evenings. Kitchen was spacious to make meals and the dining area accommodated our whole group. The lake was a short walk down which we cleared out for an ice skating rink. But no fish to be had when we tried ice fishing- but no complaints! I would highly recommend this lodge as it is a short drive to Hayward and was clean and spacious. The rental team was responsive and accommodating. Looking forward to another stay!
