The Blue Pelican is a spacious newly built 2 story home located across the street from the beach featuring beautiful Gulf and beach views. This luxurious home features over 3,000 sq feet of living space to spoil your whole family without feeling crowded. The kitchen, living room and dining area feature breath taking views of the Gulf waters. The chef inspired kitchen features Electrolux appliances including a dishwasher. The Blue Pelican has 5 bedrooms/5 bathrooms with TWO Master suites. The upstairs Master Suite as well as the living room feature flat screen 4K UHD Smart TV's with Surround Sound Bars. The other 3 bedrooms also have flat screen 4K UHD Smart TV's. The 5th bedroom can be a bedroom or sitting room/tv room. We also have an extra dining area for the kids. You can enjoy beautiful sunsets on the deck while using the outdoor grill and outdoor dining area. Enjoy your morning coffee on the upper deck watching for dolphins and the shrimp boats going by in our sparkling waters.

Beautiful Home & Great Location

We stayed here while attending a work conference and we were so pleased with the stay! The home was very spacious and homey! The location could not have been better - very close to the main part of town. We enjoyed this home and will definitely be back next year!

we came down for cheer competitions. It held me and my staff of coaches perfectly and we had so much fun. It was clean, great location and the host was so kind and accommodating to our check out times. We will definitely be back!

Very clean, comfortable and well stocked!

We are group of moms and 11-year old daughters from Baton Rouge; we stayed here for a cheerleading competition. We loved the house and it was just a few miles to the convention center.

Another great guy’s trip

There were 8 of us and the house was plenty big to allow everyone their own space. Great house that is furnished well and a great location to the casino’s and restaurants. Third time staying at the property and it is now our go to place!

Weekend Stay for Bachelor Party (6ppl)

The property could not have been in better location. Very close to the casinos, restaurants, and a great view / deck facing the ocean. It was extremely spacious, clean, and accommodating with lots of bathrooms, large tv, fully equipped with cookware, misc. supplies, coffee, etc., which we really appreciated traveling from Texas. The host was very kind, responsive, and the check in/out process was a breeze. I would rank everything about the property and host as a 10/10 and highly recommended. Without a doubt would stay here again next time I’m in town!

Family vacation

We stayed at the house for 4 days, we had a lovely trip the check in process was easy, the home was clean, and well stocked. The home was just as pictured on the listing. The only issue we had is that the grill wasn’t working during our stay, but when I called to ask about the grill I was told a replacement had been ordered. This was a bummer because we were planning to cook out during our stay.

Best VRBO stay ever

Best VRBO stay ever. Ever. House is perfect. The host has made it obvious he wants you to want for nothing and only have a great vacation. Large details like the kitchen being BEYOND fully-equipped, premium & abundant porch furniture, outdoor kitchen, luxury bedding, dehumidifiers for your comfort, big-ass TV in family room, … and on and on. Small details like toiletries provided in every bathroom, dish soap, laundry soap, cleaning supplies, coffee (both Keurig pods & drip) provided, spices for cooking, plastic & foil in the pantry, beach chairs & beach cart (phenomenal!), … and on and on. We had 8 people, space for all, cooked many meals, grilled outside, washed clothes, enjoyed plenty of beach time (right across the street - beach to ourselves every day), casino time, relaxing time, … and on and on… So good. No checkout duties imposed on the guest. Best VRBO stay ever. More good stuff than I can cover here. Thank you Barney (James).

Good house...needs some attention

Overall, the house was nice. There were a few details that needed attention. First, the gas grill outside has a slow leak at the connection. We smelled gas all the while outside. There was a leak in the ceiling, over the kitchen table that dripped onto the table. The TV had an issue with the remote. We could not get it to change channels. It was stuck on the opening channel. And last, the WiFi log in was incorrect. After we finally figured it out, we called the manger to let him know so he could correct the check-in info. We thought he might come over to do a look-see with us, but we never saw him or heard from him. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but they do need to correct a few things for the price they ask to rent it.
