Established in the 1800s, West End architectural styles include Craftsman Bungalow, Queen Anne, Colonial Revival, and American Foursquare. Situated on a private cul de sac in a residential area, the home is a stylish and welcome sanctuary in the middle of Atlanta. The Hammonds House Museum (African Art museum) and the Wren's Nest (historic home-turned-cultural center) are a 5 minute walk. There's a nearby commercial center and various shops and restaurants.
The West End is a rapidly gentrifying neighborhood, you'll find numerous homes restored to their previous glory next to new construction, as well as homes still in need of renovation.
