Cabin in the mountain

Very peaceful and quiet! The hot tub and mountain views were amazing! Within an hour of all kinds of fun stuff to do and see. Only complaints would be the main bedroom bed was not comfortable and the water pressure was terrible.

Beautiful place to stay!

We loved our long weekend staying at this cabin. The area is beautiful and the cabin was perfect, very clean and so cozy. We definitely want to come back and recommend staying here!

Great view. Time to Replace Carpets and Furniture

We loved the location and the view. The town of Divide is lovely as is Woodland Park. The house itself was very clean, however the carpets are quite dirty. The furniture is worn and have cheap slip covers on them. We would stay again IF we knew for certain owners had followed through on previous suggestions regarding carpets and furniture.

Great cabin with beautiful views

Our family really enjoyed our stay here! The home feels tucked away, and the views from the deck were so peaceful. The home has everything you need and the property manager was helpful in answering all my questions. My only feedback is the downstairs bedroom carpets probably need a good shampoo, but that's a very small item out of a list of good. Would recommend!

Nice Place

This place worked well for our family four. We traveled with 2 adults, a 19 year old and a 14 year old. Each person having their own space kept us from getting on each others nerves. The cabin was very spacious and the views were spectacular. The cabin was easy to find with GPS taking is right to the front door. The drives weren't bad to tourist spots. If we ever visit the area again, I would stay here again.

Would definitely stay again

We really enjoyed the views and space of this property. The night sky was absolutely gorgeous away from all the city lights. The rooms were spacious and they provide so many activities as well, great for families! Everything was clean, check in was easy and the entire rental process was smooth.

The view was amazing, weather was perfect, spent alot of time in the hot tub & enjoying the scenery. We did have a few issues with the door knobs, you really had to push on it. There was also an issue with the hot tub jets & the technician confirmed the part was broke & gave us a work around to make it work. Not very much lighting in the bathroom when showering & the pressure is very low, could upgrade to a better showerhead

Lovely property, a few tweaks would make it A+ property

Nice property, beds are comfy , spacious, the view and location can’t be beat. We enjoyed the hot tub very much. Couple things would make it better- the kitchen was stocked pretty poorly (our camper has better dinnerware and cooking utensils) and the living room furniture is pretty awful (they have put tshirt material slip covers over peeling vinyl… so everything slips and the cushions move out of place). These two things weren’t enough to complain but would really enhance the place if improved.

Overall great mountain cabin

We really liked the cabin and the area it was in. You do have to drive a little bit to get to certain places, but it was a very quiet and private location. The hot tub was excellent and a favorite part of everyone’s day. The views from the back deck are great, and there are plenty of kitchen accessories to be able to cook meals with at the cabin. The only complaints we had are minor, but worth mentioning:The ice maker was not hooked up, so that was something we weren’t expecting. There were two ice trays in the freezer you could use if needed. The couches in the living room have slip covers on them that were constantly coming off, so be prepared to always be fixing those. The fireplace in the bedroom did not work for us. The fireplace in the living room works but never really gives off much of a visual flame (I know that seems silly, but just an honest review for anyone who is really looking for the fireplace setting and feel.) We inquired about a Christmas tree being placed in the cabin as we were checking in on Christmas Day. We have been to places during Christmas time that decorate for the season, so we thought it would be nice since we had kids with us. We were told no, just to arrive and see a Christmas wreath in the garage and extra things stored in the closet, so it wasn’t as if nothing extra could be stored there. Just a simple gesture of having a Christmas tree up would put this over the top for us. Overall, it was a great trip and we would go back again.

best view and private deck to view it

wonderful private cabin with excellent 180 view of mountains and back of pikes peak.... very quiet ....neighbors were far enough away and blocked by trees so we had privacy ... no ac which I was concerned about but got very cool at night and was so nice to warm up in crisp morning air and warm sun with my coffee enjoying hearing the leaves rustling in the wind. Had a deer come right up to the deck twice .....The worst part was having to leave !!!! plenty to do in the area cripple creek narrow gauge railroad and Garden of the gods and wolf sanctuary plus riding at the triple B ranch

This house was amazing. The views were spectacular. The house is very clean. I really don't have anything negative to say. If I had to pick something it would be the pillows were a little flat and the ice maker didn't work. Otherwise this house has everything you need. I love the location.

Great stay! This was a perfect cabin for my family! We spent easter weekend here and it was quiet and beautiful. They had everything we needed. We cooked, played games, and did all the easter festivities. It’s still cold at night so the hot tub was nice and relaxing. The beds were comfortable and the rooms stayed fairly dark so you could sleep in. We would stay here again. Our 5 yr old said he never wanted to leave. The only feedback i would give is the covers on the couches are not that comfortable and move around a lot because the couches are leather so it was hard to sit on them. Also, a little bigger dining room table would have been nice for games and family dinners but it is very minor. There was still enough room for seating for all of us. Plenty of kitchenware to cook. Lots of movies. We brought games but they had a couple there. All and all this was an enjoyable weekend for all of us! 😊🙏

Great stay!

This was a perfect cabin for my family! We spent Easter weekend here and it was quiet and beautiful. They had everything we needed. We cooked, played games, and did all the Easter festivities. Overall, nice place. One of the bedrooms downstairs did not have clean sheets. I moved to the other room and it was clean. Kitchen needs a bit more in the way of amenities. Foil, plastic wrap, baggies etc. WiFi struggled BAD with 2 people working from laptops. Even with extenders, we had to trade off work times. So if you plan to work, good luck. Scenery and weather were fantastic.

cozy cabin beautiful

wow this cozy beautiful cabin absolutely loved behind house is part of pikes peak an beautiful moutain views. this my third time in divide colorado. there's so much to do in this area i can't list everything. i loved hot tub watching stars or going shopping in manitou springs or colorado springs or woodland park. go pikes peak words can describe what creator made wow or garden of gods or parks ect. I loved the fireplace in living room and bedroom. the cleaning was good but not great very dusty . looked like it didn't get clean for week or so but im very picky since family businesses has two homes on vrbo im houses cleaner . everything was great thank you

Summer Vacation

We have actually stayed in this home 3 or 4 times now. We love the location - nestled off in the trees but still close enough to town. Woodland Park is only about a 10 minute drive and it's all beautiful scenery. The home has plenty of space for our family of four plus our parents and my niece. Hot tub is a great add on too. This time though, the house was not very clean upon arrival. Even got an email saying the home was cleaned and we were allowed to do an early arrival. Also, some of the furniture that had always been there before was gone. Like dressers and nightstand from one of the rooms. The kitchen was sticky - the floors and the front of the cabinets over the stove seemed to be splattered with something. It just wasn't up to the standards that we have always experienced before. As much as I love staying here, I will probably look for another property to rent next time.

Vacation Ruined

Let me preference this by saying that I only take a vacation about every 5 years and really needed this one. Unfortunately, it was largely ruined thanks to the accommodations. My stay in Cabin #9 began with getting in after dark, and all I wanted was to make dinner and have a glass of wine. Well, the wine I picked up was warm and needed an ice cube, only to find that the refrigerator ice maker was not working and that I had to fill up 2 dirty, empty trays with water and wait for them to freeze. Not to mention the fact that the water dispenser didn't work either, and I had not purchased bottled water while at the store. I then tried to cook a nice dinner on a relatively gross stove, only to discover that all the pans were old, super scratched Teflon pans that absolutely EVERYTHING stuck to, so I heated up canned soup, which I removed from the stove with sticky, filthy potholders. Day 2 I tried to do some work, but the internet connection was so slow that it was impossible (download = 7.16 mbps / upload = 0.91 mbps). Day 3 was warm enough for me to get into the hot tub, which is the reason I booked this listing. ALL I WANTED TO DO ON THIS VACATION WAS TO SOAK IN A HOT TUB, only to open it to discover a disgusting, brown, oily ring around the entire hot tub about 2 inches above the waterline. At this point, I am so frustrated that I call Vacasa support, and in their defense, a very nice gentleman almost immediately arrived to clean the hot tub. However, after wiping off the goo, he told me he shocked it and put a couple of floating sponges in it to absorb all of the oil. As you can imagine, after all of that, I was absolutely not getting into that hot tub. In addition, there were . . . - ancient, hard, flat Walmart pillows - cheap, sandpaper-like toilet paper and paper towels - no trash bags - broken blinds - dirty carpet - leather furniture with the leather worn away - and more All-in-all it was a disappointing stay.
