Luxury Tree House

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Chasing Rumors! Although the house was everything we expected and more, we loved, loved, LOVED the gorgeous deck! It was like being in a huge, luxury treehouse! To top it off, the house was by far the cleanest VRBO we have ever rented and it has every amenity you could want. Shane was attentive and quick to respond to our questions. You simply can’t go wrong staying here!

Great Escape!

Had a great weekend getaway and couldn’t have picked a better cabin! All amenities were top notch and cabin was very well kept! Shane was a great host and very responsive to any questions or concerns! If you’re looking for a place to stay…this is it! You’ll have no regrets!

Great place, great location, great host

This property is stunning, the pictures do not do it justice. Our stay here was nothing short of amazing, from check-in to check-out. Shane was a great host, checking in to make sure everything was to standards and showed he was available if needed. I've never stayed at a VRBO with such high level of customer service. If you're looking for a getaway, I highly recommend this property. We will be back for sure.

Shane has a beautiful house and is caring to the guests. The wine and smores were very thoughtful to the wife and I for our short getaway. Shane made sure to check in t make sure we didn’t need anything. The house was very clean and we loved the features. Would definitely recommend the stay!

Excellent Cabin

Could not have selected a better cabin for my family to spend a few days. Excellent property with hot tub, outside patio fireplace, and most of all a SAUNA in the master bedroom. The wife really enjoyed the sauna and kids enjoyed the hot tub. This cabin feels alot bigger than a 2 bedroom as well. Will definitely stay again.

Family Fall Break

Everything we needed for a perfect fall break was thought of with this stay. The property owner is delightful and answered every question promptly even checked in daily to make sure we didn’t need anything. The kids loved making s’mores around the fire pit and the owners took the extra mile and not only provided the sticks to roast the s’mores but the starter log, firewood, and the marshmallows. I would recommend and would stay again. Great location right near everything you need.

Sanctuary in the Forest

There are really not enough words to describe how wonderfully beautiful Chasing Rumors Cabin is. We have stayed in some of the most beautiful places in the US and this one is hands down the best all around places we have stayed. My husband & I just needed a quiet, relaxing time away from our busy schedules. We arrived in the late afternoon and were taken away by the location of Chasing Rumors. The next morning we had our morning coffee out on one of the three lovely patios that surround the Cabin. We immediately felt the calm as we were watching the trees sway in the breeze. We were greeted by a family of dear that were in plain view. As far as the inside of the Cabin goes, it was equally beautiful. The huge floor to ceiling windows made you feel like you were outside in the middle of the forest. The pictures online do not do this place justice. Master suite was incredible with sauna, shower, soaking tub ( which I enjoyed every morning) Top notch linens, comfortable beds....I could go on but don't want to make this review too long. Go stay at Chasing Rumors to see for yourself how wonderful it truly is!! You will absolutely love it!!

Wow from the first moment you walk in the door! Every inch of the cabin is well thought out and welcoming. Tree views and babbling brook coupled with sauna and hot tub make this place a perfect relaxing getaway.

Weekend getaway

My boyfriend and I love traveling to the Broken Bow/ Hochatown area. We have been 5 times in the past year and always pick a different cabin. All of the cabins we have stayed in are amazing but Chasing Rumors takes the lead as our top favorite. We were amazed with how beautiful, cozy, & clean the cabin was. The master bedroom with the sauna is simple but truly breathtaking. There is a floor to ceiling window that shows an amazing picturesque view of the woods and creek. There is also a door in the bedroom that leads to the hot tub which is a feature we enjoyed. Warning- the bed is super comfy and you will not want to get up in the morning… I had the best sleep of my life!!! Shane is a very attentive host and made sure everything was perfect for our weekend getaway. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful place with luxury amenities!

This place was perfect for our family of four. The cabin was beautiful with luxury amenities everywhere. The owner was very responsive and made sure we had everything we need. Kitchen was fully stocked with dishes and cook ware to prepare any meal you could think of. No problems with wifi or using any technology. Three different deck areas and a fire pit with great views. Mattress and bedding was so comfortable I was asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow. We will certainly be booking this cabin again!

The design inspiration for this custom cabin came from family trips to the 30A area of the Florida panhandle. The vacation homes along Rosemary Beach, Seaside and Watercolor offer volumes of space, professional décor, and comfortable for a relaxing stay near the ocean. This cabin attempts to create that same emotion and warmth in its spaces while emphasizing the beauty of its best asset, the serenity of trees. Its not the ocean, but there is something about sitting outside and listening to the wind rustle through trees. This Cabin was not designed to maximize guests or revenue, its was created for my family and others that appreciate the meaning of "time away". Vacation is for memories, not just passing time.

The name 'Chasing Rumors' was created from my daughter after our 6 year old German Shepherd named Rumor. However, Rumor is not allowed at her own cabin that bears her name since I want a pet free environment for myself and guests.

I designed this cabin to serve as my home away from home, not just a short term rental. My hope is feel the same way within seconds of walking through the front door. The walk-in pantry, walk-in closets in each bathroom area, the emphasis on providing great views while not sacrificing privacy are key elements to make this property different than the others. This was created for how my family enjoys comfort and hope it meets your expectations as well.
