Couples weekend

2 night stay with 6 couples. House was perfect! Needed help with the hot tub, Ned showed up within an hour and fixed our problem. Great stay, highly recommend, will be back next year. BYO - hot tub towels, shampoo/soap, tissues.

Wonderful stay

Such a great property for a family reunion. We loved everything about it, especially the mountain views! My only tip is that a hair dryer is not supplied, so make sure to bring one. We had to go out to Walmart and get one for all us ladies.

Perfect Family Stay

This property was the perfect size and in the perfect location for our annual family weekend in North Conway. It was easy to get to all our favorite spots around town. The house was clean and the large main level allowed our big family to gather all together for meals and games. Great place!

The property was perfect for our group. We rent a house every year and this by far was the best

The house was big, beautiful with plenty of room for our 12 women for “girls weekend “. I would make a small suggestion to have a table on the deck for outdoor dining/ sitting. There were chairs there, but no table. We didn’t use the hot tub that was available, but there was one on the deck. Ned was very cordial at check I , even showed us another one of his property’s. He has several for all different group sizes. Easy to get too ( right before the Muddy Moose restaurant). We will be going back again. All the women said it was their favorite place so far and we’ve been renting places for over 20 years!

Spacious home in a great location

This house worked well for our family vacation. The beds were extremely comfortable (always a plus) and there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Loved the hot tub!! The house was clean and there was plenty of dishes for our party of 12 when we decided not to dine out. The house is showing some age (i.e. kitchen drawers not opening/closing correctly and a few other minor issues) but nothing that would prevent us from renting again. There are still no bath mats as noted on previous reviews - something I think could be easily and cheaply remedied. Overall a great stay and we would rent again.

Great location

The house was very spacious. We enjoyed our stay and great space to gather with family and friends. The beds were extremely comfortable. Very nicely decorated! We had some much fun. Our only disappointment was the pictures lead us to believe that there was a shuffle board in the game room. There was not. We specifically rented the space because of the shuffle board as it is a game we play at a local bar and is a favorite game of the group.

Spacious house in great location

House was very clean, plenty of towels for group of 14, not enough silverware. The bunk beds were replaced with trundle beds . We had an issue with hot water in the showers, the water felt warm not hot also the beverage fridge was not working. Location is great! Muddy Moody Moose restaurant & ice cream shop right across the street! Very short drive to downtown shops and restaurants and outlets. Owner was very responsive to all questions we had, thank you .

Great location just a short walk to town.

Property manager was very responsive. WiFi was horrible and had to be reset. We had to use our hotspot the entire time to get the televisions and devices to work. Kids were upset that the bunk beds weren’t there as shown in the listing. The pool was great and the private hot tub was as well. The unit was clean and spacious. Plenty of bath towels provided but no hand towels or face cloths. Overall it was good because it was clean and spacious but was missing the little touches that you sometimes get at a smaller rental.

Great trip

The house was perfect for our family ski trip to Cranmore Mountain. It was a quick 5 minute drive to the base of the mountain and there were plenty of restaurants and stores close by. The manager Ned was great and was very responsive to the few minor issues that arose. I would highly recommend this house and will be staying there again!

Not equipped for 13 people

This house is a very nice home, close to mountains and shops. Saying that , it just was not equipped with towels for a large group, there was No hand towels in any of the bathrooms, No shower mats to put on the floor, we had to use towels in order to not slip when getting out. Kitchen was very large, but again we had 2 forks to share with 13 people and 8 plates, we had to wait till some people were done for others to eat. We ended up shopping for these items in order for us to all eat together, and making our stay very expensive. For the price of this home you would expect it to be equipped for the amount of people it says it holds. Some of the TV’s didn’t work, one of the tables in the game room was broken and feel on one of the Adults in our group, her foot was black and blue the following day, just relieved it didn’t fall on one of the kids. If your interested in renting a home that is expensive already, be prepared to spend extra cash on things that you wouldn’t think you would need on your Vacation. All in all we won’t be returning to this property in the future. Thank you

Did not consider this to be a luxury property!

On the plus side, the house was beautiful. We had a family vacation with 3 of our children, and 7 grandchildren. When we needed to contact Ned for a problem, he responded very quickly. The hot tub got alot of use, even though the jets were very weak, especially after a day of mountain biking, hiking, and a day at the aerial adventure park. The location was perfect, there was plenty to do without a long drive. The view from the hot tub was awesome. The kids and grandkids had an awesome time in the game room. For the negatives, I had to buy washclothes as there were none in the house. There were only 2 towels per bathroom and we had to use 1 of them for a bath mat because none were provided. The towels that WERE provided had alot of bleach stains on them and didn't even match. We only had a total of 11 chairs, which meant that 3 people were constantly eating in the living room. The ice maker didn't work, nor did the water dispenser on the refrigerator. Someone brought us 2 small bags of ice which didn't last long, then we had only 2 ice trays to make ice with. The couch & love seat had all the stuffing hanging out of each back cushion. The coffee table downstairs was so wobbly that we put it in one of the closets for fear of one of our little ones getting hurt on it. There were several outlets that had no covers on them but had bare wires exposed. We tried to use the swimming pool on 3 different days but the water was too cold, so the little ones had to swim in the hot tub. Be sure to bring extra towels because there weren't enough for 14 people to use for bathing and also the pool. We won't stay here again, I felt it was rather pricey for the condition of the inside of the house.

Highly Recommend

We highly recommend this rental home. The owner Ned is a pleasure. He responds quickly to phone/email, and is up-front and honest. The house is spacious. The location is semi-private, on a quiet dead-end shared with a few other homes. Beautiful views. The layout is conducive to a multi-family or large-family vacation: 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a living room with a TV on ground level; 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on the main floor where the kitchen and main living room are; another bedroom/bathroom on a 3rd-floor loft. 3 bedrooms have their own bathrooms. The bedrooms are nicely furnished and have character. The bedding is clean, with pillows and linens provided. The bathrooms are done nicely with granite vanities and stone-tiled floors, and are neat and clean. Plenty of towels are provided. Bring shower soap, handsoap, and facial tissues. Toilet tissue was provided. There are 2 sets of washing machines and dryers, 1 on ground level and 1 upstairs. This was useful. The kitchen is fully modernized, with granite counters and solid appliances that work well. With kitchen plus dining area, there is plenty of seating for meals. There are several family-type board games in a cabinet, which we found to be a nice touch. The main living room upstairs is very comfortable, with a couch, loveseat, easy chair, and enormous TV. The TV has all kinds of inputs including HDMI, so we were able to connect a mobile device to watch a family movie. There was no manual for this large TV and the attached tuner/DVD/ipod player, which would have been helpful because we could not figure out how to connect an ipod to play music over the speaker system. There is a wireless network, but the router is probably offsite because the signal is weak and does not reliably reach all areas of the house. The outdoor pool is shared among the several rental homes on the property. We did not use it, but from a distance it seemed clean and well-maintained. The hot tub is private for this house only, and is on a deck accessible from the upstairs living room. It was ready for use when we arrived, and was clean and sanitary. The game room was terrific, and is a highlight of the house. There is a pool table, tabletop shuffleboard, and foosball. The room is carpeted and well-lit, and there's also a TV and small bar table with chairs. Our family spent a lot of time here. Overall, this house is an excellent choice which we would recommend without hesitation.
