Perfect 10 Cottage

A long time visitor of 40 years to Nantucket and 5th time renting one of Theresa’s properties. We have never been disappointed with her rentals and her newest cottage rental was an absolute delight to stay in. Everything from bedding to decor to appliances was high end quality and there was an abundance of supplies on hand. The walk to town was less than 10 minutes. The cottage was small but very quaint and we were very comfortable (2 of us and the dog) but easily could’ve had one extra on the pull out couch. The chocolates, flowers and Sonos music playing were all much appreciated. Highly recommend this cottage and all of Theresa’s properties. Never disappoints and will be back!

After reading much about Nantucket, I decided to venture to the island and view it for myself. I found it to be better than anything I dreamed of. I also think going off-season helped me see the island as it really is!! SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL!!

Nantucket Relax and enjoy

This is a wonderful property in a great location. It was very clean and comfortable with a well stocked kitchen and plenty of towels and toilet paper. The washer and dryer in the unit was great for coming back from the beach and being able to clean up. It is nearly brand new, it feels like a quintessential New England home, comfortable, clean furnishings

Cozy Nantucket Cottage

From the moment we got there, our stay could not have been more perfect. Clean, smelled great, spa music playing and sports on the tv. Everything about this place we loved! For 4 nights it truly felt like home. The walk to town was super easy too. Honestly, the pictures and description don't do it justice. So much better in person. We've been to Nantucket many times over the last 33yrs but we would stay here again in a heartbeat. And our little dog loved it too!

My husband and I spent our 20th anniversary week here. The house was amazing, and had all the comforts of home. Very clean, the location was great. We were able to walk to town for dinner every night. Very short walk. The house is beautifully decorated and comfortable.

Beautiful rental - perfect size

My stay was fantastic and the property was perfectly sized for a young couple. The location is perfect! The only negative was my check in experience. I asked well on advance for an early check in, and the owner implied it wouldn’t be a problem. The day before my check in, I wanted to confirm that an early check in was still possible and the owner revered course. I had to message multiple times day of to see when the property would be available, and ended up not being able to check in early. Other than that experience, the property was amazing!!

What a wonderful place

This lovely rental has done it again! Our 3rd time staying here and we love it! Fully stocked kitchen and bath with linens and beach chairs/towels. Welcoming outdoor courtyard is perfect for relaxing. We can’t wait to come back!

Great Cottage

Overall it is a great property both inside and out. More glasses are needed! The dishwasher is run more than it should have to because of this. New bathroom rug is needed. I have never had to do laundry (towels)for the cleaning people before. The high cleaning fee should include that. The property needs cleanp and leaf blowing outside due to he fact leaves were constantly falling on furnitue and patio. We could not belive the condition of the seat covers and pillows outside. They should have been in the trash. These are just a few things that I feel could be addressed. The decorator is fabulous. The short walk to town was great. We will book again if we come next year.

Loved it, once I got in (never received access code!)

I loved this charming house. It was new, beautiful, comfortable, well-appointed, quiet, and close to all the action. I'd absolutely stay again, no question. BUT...a few days before I arrived I received a communication that I would be sent the code for the key box shortly before check-in. I stood outside the cottage, in the rain, at check-in time. No code. I sent a message requesting it on the VRBO app. I called and left a message. I never, to this day, heard back. I had to call a VRBO agent, who also messaged & called the owner/rep and didn't get through. Thankfully, I asked if there was a "master code" and eventually (20 minutes) that was found and I was in! But it was scary wondering when/if I'd get in. There was information inside the cottage about checkout and a number to text for the caretaker. I texted that number twice with 2 different questions over my 6 day stay & never heard back from him either. Strange. I hope they're OK!

Perfect second stay, just like the first

We’ve seen the condition of rentals degrade over the years…. Not this one. It was just as lovely as last year. The proximity to town but quietly nestled location, dedicated parking space and ambiance can’t be beat. We hope to be back again.

Beautiful cottage, great location

Very pretty cottage with high end finishes, and only ~half mile walk from town, shops, ferry. For a last-minute girls overnight trip, it was perfect. Strong AC, great water pressure, coffee in the morning, plenty of towels, and cable that worked effortlessly to watch Olympics. Theresa was very responsive and allowed us to stash our small overnight bags in the courtyard while we wandered the island prior to 4pm check in. Neighborhood is charming and quiet. Because we only stayed in the cottage for 17 hours, the fees on top of the rental price felt wasteful and amounted to almost $500 more than the list price. But that is likely more a VRBO complaint than anything. Pricy, but lovely!
