Great Stay

Overall very satisfied with our stay. Extremely close to beach and easy access on and off the private boardwalk. Lots of options to eat around strip where the property is located. The property was clean and cozy. Easy pool access and having the hot tub was great as well.

Great Resort

The St Augustine Ocean and Raquet Resort is a wonderful base for a vacation in this area. The unit was clean and very nice for our stay. The only thing it needs for 5 stars in all categories is attention to the small details.

Quiet Beach Experience

Summer getaway

There was a light dusting of sand on the floors and a musty smell as if it had not been used in a while. Just left doors and windows open for a while and it smelled fresher. Great location.

Overall, condo met our needs. Condo needs to be updated. Fans and overhead lights need to be added. There were no instructions left in the condo and the guards in the front were not helpful at all in regards to beach access code. Emails need to be sent to renter with all updated info right before the scheduled trip.

Nice condo

When we checked in at the gate, they had the wrong name listed for us. Luckily, we had the emails showing we had booked it. After that, everything was great. The host was fantastic and very attentive. She returned any texts quickly and took care of issues immediately. I was very impressed with how clean and well equipped the condo was. Bath soap, shower gel, garbage bags, laundry soap, etc. were already there. The furniture - including the beds - was comfortable. The chairs for the beach were very nice and much appreciated. The beach there is great.

Memorial Day Weekend

Our stay at this property was lovely. The neighborhood is beautiful, clean, quiet, and welcoming. We loved our easy access to the beach and my son loved playing in the pool. The only negative aspect about this property is that it is located on the 3rd floor and there is no elevator. If a guest has mobility issues then this is simply not the right property for them. The owner did clarify this prior to our arrival in the apartment advertisement. Getting our luggage up on the first day was a bit of a struggle, but once it was done we were free to enjoy the rest of our stay in peace. For this reason we give this property a 9/10 review.

Fun in the sun

This is the second year we have rented this unit. It is near both pools, Pickleball courts and activity building. Short walk to the beach with a security code to enter. Only suggestion would be a tea kettle. Owners are very good at communicating. We throughly enjoy the history of St. Augustine. HGK

Our stay

Very nice stay however, it would have been nice if there were more than two coffee cups in the kitchen. Also, there was only one kitchen towel and we really did not enjoy using bath towels to dry dishes. The exhaust fan in the master bathroom also didn’t function properly. Otherwise, having the pickle ball courts nearby was a lot of fun and the unit and itself was very neat and clean.

Didn’t let us know that there was no elevator for a condo on the three floor. Read that I was to pick up my parking pass at the entrance. No pass ready for us. Had to go online and pay money to get a parking pass.. Tolet broke and was ask to fix it myself. Old furniture and everything needs upgrading

Nice complex, basic unit

The complex has nice amenities. In this unit, the king mattress was very comfortable but other things weren't: pillows, towels, living room seating, balcony chairs. Living room chair could use a cleaning. No corkscrew in kitchen. Just not as comfortable a unit as we are used to, but easy to improve this. Responsive communication with owner.

Everything good but no elevator access

Condo was well kept with some minor usage issues. Very close to pool. About two block walk to beach but within property. Grounds were impeccably kept. No alcoholic beverages at beach or pool which was both good and bad. Kept everything PG but would have preferred less restrictions for a beverage. No elevator to third floor condo was a huge setback. Again… NO ELEVATOR. Those with physical limitations will find it very difficult to access condo.

Visiting from MA.

Overall pretty good. Coffee maker was all moldy when we arrived. Old coffee grounds left in coffee maker and everything was moldy - had to be flushed with vinegar several times to get rid of mold taste. Toaster was difficult to operate as toast would not stay down - sometimes had to do it 20 or more times before it would stay down and toast.Should be replaced. Everything else was fine.

Condo sparsely outfitted for guests

Condo was not as represented in the photos. Attractive bedspreads were removed attractive furniture, covered with slip covers. It was not steps to the beach, it was about a block to the beach and we did enjoy the beach. There was only one detail in the kitchen, and very few dishes for making a meal. We found that we had to run the dishwasher most days as I am a cook. We had to buy dishwashing tablets as only three were left for us and we were there 15 days. no salt and pepper that was usable the Condo is perfect for someone who wants to eat out every meal of the day. We do not. in summary, the condo is bare-bones. One example when we arrived. None of the remotes worked as batteries in them had not been changed for so long. The condo is OK but it won’t be as unattractive as it is in the photos and there’s a lot missing to make the condo comfortable
