This home has undergone a complete renovation, has been professionally decorated with new furniture, appliances, mattresses, linens...even the silverware!

Families and friends can enjoy the looking out at the ocean each morning with coffee and the two oceanfront decks are a great place to enjoy a cocktail at sunset. There's plenty of space to spread out with the open concept and five bedrooms. The first floor master has a king bed and its own bath. The four bedrooms upstairs are set up Jack 'n Jill style with two bedrooms each sharing a bath in the middle. One king bedroom and one queen bedroom are both oceanfront. The other twin bedroom and bedroom with bunk beds and a trundle face the sound. Every bedroom has it's own flat screen/smart TV. In addition to all of the benefits with the Smart TV, there's also Direct TV hooked up for each bedroom. Puzzles, games and books are available for those rainy days or you can set up a game of cornhole in the covered garage. And, a large and private outdoor shower can help with getting all the sand off from a fun filled day at the beach.

Cannot say enough good things about this property. It was clean, attractive, exactly like the listing photos. The kitchen was well-stocked and so convenient to have beach toys, chairs and umbrella there. The beds were comfortable. We love a quiet beach and this was exactly that. Shannon was super responsive when we had a minor issue and also let us know the house was ready for early check in. One of the best VRBO experiences I’ve had and we will definitely be back!

Wonderful Stay

We had a great time! The beach barn was full of charm, clean, and cozy. We had everything we needed and the porch was fantastic…non stop ocean. We saw dolphins and the sunrise was amazing. We hope to be back!

Our Second Stay!

There aren’t too many places that would return to a second time. This home is perfect for families and very well supplied. The beds are exceptionally comfy. It’s very private, safe and the beach is right there in your backyard. Shannon has been accommodating and quick to answer questions….all in all, the perfect getaway.

Fantastic family time on the beach

This was the perfect house for our group. We rented as a family of 10 and loved the setup with the bathrooms in between the bedrooms. It’s also beautifully decorated. We don’t typically eat out, so having a stocked kitchen is important to us. We found everything we needed and more! There are puzzles, books, games, and toys supplied as well. Lots of outdoor beach stuff too, including great chairs and an umbrella. Our hostess Shannon was nothing short of amazing and was in contact with us as needed. It’s a nice quiet area, but close to stores and walkable to the pier. 10/10 would recommend. Book your time here, you won’t regret it!

Beach Barn 2024

We have enjoyed three years at Beach Barn Cottage! Our family of ten find the house to be most comfortable and fully supplied with all the kitchen items we required for the week! Having early morning coffee on the porch overlooking the ocean is always a treat!! Being so close to the beach was terrific with our grandchildren. And having a dining table to fit 10 of us was the absolute cherry on top! Family time is a reflection of the owners choices throughout the house! We'll be back for many years to come. We can’t thank you enough for letting us come stay in your home! The house was absolutely beautiful and exactly like the photos! The upstairs level was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT for our stay!!!! Wonderful family vacation

My extended family and I had a wonderful time in North Topsail Beach. We were a group of 7 and the house was more than perfect for all of us. Most relaxing stay with gorgeous furnishings

The Beach Barn Cottage is hands down one of the best places we have ever stayed. Shannon has truly thought of everything and is a very gracious host. The home is beautiful. The beach is steps away and was safe enough for our pre-teens to go back and forth on their own. The linens, pillows, kitchen goods, beach toys, and outdoor furniture are all of good quality and not cheap. There were 10 people in our group. Our family, my brother’s family, and our parents. Plenty of space for all. It was perfect for the kids to “play”, hunt for shells and sharks teeth and shop. It was also perfect to relax, read a book, and just enjoy the ocean. We will be back for sure. Shannon was easy to communicate with and really made sure that we had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. I would give this 10 stars if I could.

Truly Wonderful Experience

I can’t say enough about this beautiful property and what a great stay we had there. Shannon made the process so easy for us, including a precious little welcome gift and a bottle of wine. Perfect beach vacation!

We cannot say enough good things about our stay at Beach Barn. 5 adults and 5 kids ranging in age from 7-70 all loved this house. We appreciated the large variety of beach chairs, boogie boards, and toys for our use. In the height of summer vacation season we felt like we had a private beach out front, only sharing with the few other houses on the street. Wonderful communication with the owner and we took her up on many of her dining suggestions. We will absolutely stay here again.
