As residents of the beautiful Hautes Alpes region and passionate about our mountains, we offer 10 chalets for rent in two major resorts: Vars and Montgenèvre. These chalets can accommodate groups ranging from 12 to 24 people.
In this listing, we present our Chalet D, a south-facing 300 m² chalet that can comfortably accommodate 19 people, directly facing the ski slopes.
Inside, you will discover seven beautiful bedrooms, each elegantly decorated and equipped with its own private bathroom. Additionally, there is a 130m² relaxation area featuring a swimming pool, jacuzzi, Finnish sauna, home cinema, dance floor, and recreational room.
Our chalet is available for rent year-round, whether you prefer a weekend getaway or a week-long stay. Please note that during the winter season, from late December to late March, and from early July to late August, we only accept weekly reservations.
As a small and dedicated team, we are highly available to assist our guests and ensure the best possible experience during your stay. We can provide recommendations and connect you with service providers for meals or certified instructors for various sports activities, whether the resort is open or closed. Additionally, we can arrange for yoga sessions or osteopathic treatments at the chalet for your relaxation and well-being.
GUIDED TOUR OF THE CHALET:
Spread across five floors, this chalet enjoys a privileged location in Vars, high above Sainte Catherine, offering breathtaking views of the ski area and the Vars valley. Each room in this prestigious chalet has been thoughtfully designed with your comfort in mind.
Upon entering the chalet, you will step into a spacious entrance hall equipped with a boot dryer and storage space for sports equipment. Further inside, you'll find a 45m² room that includes a fully equipped kitchen for 19 people, a dining area, and a fully glazed living room showcasing panoramic mountain views. A glass door leads to the first terrace, where you'll find a driftwood lounge and an outdoor dining area with a barbecue.
Descending the stone staircase, you'll arrive at the leisure floor, which houses the indoor pool, game room (featuring billiards and foosball), a cozy lounge with a bar, and the dance floor. Glass doors open onto the second terrace, a solarium, equipped with a Finnish sauna (heated by a wood stove), a 5-seater jacuzzi, and outdoor furniture including loungers. This outdoor space seamlessly integrates with the stunning mountain landscape, providing an unforgettable experience.
Continuing down the staircase, you'll reach the lower floor where the cinema room is located, offering a wide selection of DVDs.
These dedicated wellness areas provide the perfect setting to relax and unwind after a day of skiing or a beautiful hike.
Where to find your personal space in this spacious chalet? The top two floors have been dedicated to the sleeping quarters. Six comfortable bedrooms, each with its own bathroom or shower, are thoughtfully designed and decorated with high-quality materials such as stone and wood. The seventh bedroom and shower room are located on the same floor as the living area, providing convenient access to the common spaces.
The chalet is equipped with all the necessary amenities, including WiFi, flat-screen TVs in each bedroom, baby equipment, two dishwashers, a washing machine and dryer, a fridge with freezer, raclette and fondue appliances, a plancha, and more. The chalet's heating is provided by geothermal energy, ensuring gentle and consistent warmth throughout.

If you choose to visit during the summer, the Hautes-Alpes region presents an array of enticing opportunities. With 300 days of sunshine per year, it's a haven for cycling enthusiasts. Embark on family bike rides with electric mountain bikes or explore the thrilling downhill mountain bike tracks equipped with jumps and turns throughout the domain. Don't miss the exhilarating 32 km downhill mountain bike trail connecting Vars to Embrun, the longest in Europe. Road cyclists can indulge in the numerous accessible mountain passes that make Vars an ideal destination.
Vars, situated at the convergence of the Ecrins, Queyras, and Ubaye valleys, is a central starting point for countless hiking adventures in the Southern Alps. Explore the diverse forms of mountain water, from serene lakes for swimming or paddle boating, to picturesque waterfalls encountered during invigorating hikes leading to high-altitude lakes. Thrill-seekers can enjoy rafting and inflatable canoeing along the lively Durance River. Serre Ponçon Lake offers pristine beaches for relaxation and water activities such as wakeboarding, boating, or kitesurfing.

- Delivery of fresh bread and pastries in the morning (during the summer and winter seasons when the bakery is open).

During the winter and summer seasons, the chalet is rented from Saturday to Saturday. Weekend rentals are possible depending on the period. While we welcome dogs, we regret to inform you that we cannot accommodate cats.
