The Neighborhood:
This beautiful cabin is located in the Mountain Shadows Resort. There is an outdoor, seasonal pool. There is also a playground. The cabin is very convenient to downtown Gatlinburg (10 minute drive) and several entrances to The Great Smoky Mountains National Park!

Getting Around:
We recommend 4x4 wheel drive anywhere in The Great Smoky Mountains. This cabin features paved roads all the way up and is easy to reach but we still recommend 4x4 wheel drive.

Other Things to Note:
Must be 21 or older to book this cabin.

This cabin sleeps 8 guests maximum.

We always recommend 4x4 drive for anywhere in The Great Smoky Mountains. The cabin features paved roads all the way up and without any inclement weather any car should be fine but again, we recommend 4x4 wheel drive when visiting the area.

Gas fireplaces are seasonal and operate around October-March give or take depending on the weather.

Coffee maker is a regular and Keurig coffee maker. (bring own coffee)

Perfect spot

Location was great. Just outside of town and only a 5 minute drive to downtown. The view was great and we enjoyed the hot tub and fireplace. The place was clean and was just like the pics.

Awesome View/ great cabin

The cabin was just as advertised, clean an nice! Very convenient location to downtown and Smokey Mountain National Park. Communication with owner was quick and easy. Looking firward to our next stay at their cabin.

Beautiful, clean cabin with gorgeous view!

Cabin cleanliness was pristine! Beautiful view of the smokies! Saw a bear just a few cabins down while leaving to go look for bears. Great communication from host to ensure we had everything we needed. Smooth check in and out process. Would stay here again!

Breathtaking View

This property was everything listed in the description and more! You couldn’t have paid to have a better view! It is very up to date and in the perfect location! There is a grocery store less than 5 minutes away and Downtown Gatlinburg is literally right down the street! The host sent all of the access information the day before and it was so easy to access everything. We will definitely be returning to this property in the near future!!

Love This Area!

This was our 2nd time staying with this rental company and the owner is great to work with. The view at this cabin is gorgeous! We had a few appliance/cosmetic issues, but the owner assured us they would be repaired ASAP. Absolutely recommend trying out this cabin, or any of his other locations!!

The view of the mountain was fantastic, and the host responded very quickly through text messages. There's a food city grocery store 4 minutes away. It's in a very convenient location to go to the great smokey mountain and downtown Gatlinburg. There were here and there small maintenance issues, such as toilet seat broken; one of the stove top burner didn't work; the cooking utensils were all plastic and some were broken; the fire alarm came on for no reason twice; there were ants on the kitchen counter, especially in the morning; the top floor has small air flow issues, a bit warm, and it was a little bit smelly, probably needs a deep cleaning; there was no curtain for one of the "door window" in 1 downstair bedroom; 1 light in downstairs was flickering.

Loved it! Spacious, comfortable, quiet, relaxing and exactly as described in reviews. There was slight damages in bathroom on lower level. The towel racks were missing, and we had to figure out internet PW, but that did not negatively impact our visit. We'll stay again.

This is the cabin you want

This was the *perfect* experience/cabin/stay. The host was responsive, helpful, and kind and the cabin was immaculate and the perfect size for our family of four. The neighborhood was super quiet and the pool/playground was such a great perk. Google maps took us right to the cabin and we maintained cell service in the area. The wifi was super fast and we were able to work while there. I wish we could rate higher than 5 stars!!

Thank you for a wonderful stay in the Smokey Mountains!!! The property was just as listed. Communication was top notch!! Check in and out process was super simple. Location is perfect for both Gaitlenburg and Piegon Forge. The view of this property is absolutely amazing and will not disappoint!!! Would definitely stay at this same location again!!!

Great Views and a Great Location from Gatlinburg.

The views, location, and easy check-in get 5-stars. Everything worked out fine for us because of information we got from reading all the reviews after booking. We brought cooking utensils for the kitchen, extra blankets, and extra towels for the hot tub. One large blanket was needed to cover a bedroom window that had no blinds or curtains and people in the adjacent cabin could watch you sleeping from their balcony. The towel rack was broken off the wall and missing in the downstairs bathroom. The light over the kitchen sink did not work and the only light in the kitchen area was a small fluorescent add-on light between the stove and microwave, since the one on the microwave did not work. The only overhead light was in the middle of the upstairs kitchen-living area which made the kitchen very dark. Most of these issues were on previous reviews so there would have been enough time to have them fixed before our week that was probably the most expensive week of the year. It would be much easier to overlook these needed improvements at the normal prices, such as for the week following ours. We paid the most we have ever paid per night for anywhere in the world we have traveled so we did expect more than if we had been paying 1/6th that for the following week.

Little piece of heaven with a view

We chose the property by filtering near Gatlinburg, mountain view, sleeps 6, cabin. I hoped that it was truly as accurate as the pictures, and it really was. The views are stunning. I was suprised it was in a log home resort community. But once we were in our cabin, the way they are built makes it feel like you are alone on a mountaintop. Views of the mountain range, and beautiful trees below in the valley. Neighbors on both sides can be heard, and sounds from the pool below can be heard, but not seen. Privacy screening and natural foliage and trees, makes it where you do not see another sign of civilization, only natural beauty. Hot tub on balcony was wonderful, but jets not very strong. We had some raccoon visitors on the balcony. It was was a great location to be minutes away from the main strip, and also a great jumping off point for all the trails we wnated to drive to in the state park. I would rent this cabin again in a heartbeat! We were celebrating our daughter's graduation and had 4 teens with us. They enjoyed having the Wifi of course! But it was great that we hiked and spent most of our time outdoors. My husband and I's favorite was coffee on the balcony. There are 2 fold out couches on the main level, open to kitchen area and a balcony with gorgeous views, and a full bath. You go down a set of pretty steep stairs to the lower level where there is another full bath, 2 very small bedrooms, and washer/dryer closet, and hallway out to 2nd balcony with hot tub. Views are still amazing from lower level. My husba d and i enjoyed having to do a little work on the balcony with our laptops, while enjoying the view. If you are someone that cannot handle steps, this cabin would not work for you. We had plenty of room, and the stock of kitchen ware and towels was basic but adequate. Bring your own toiletries, laundry detergent, and dish soap. 3 dishwasher pods are provided. There is a Family Dollar and a Food City very close by. We brought a beach towel for each of us. No auto icemaker, but 3 trays were plenty to keep the ice coming for our water bottles. Check in and check out totally a breeze. Code for door will be sent the morning of check in. Absolutely LOVED this location and this cabin. The toilet paper holders and towel racks were all broken, but i informed the owner so Im sure it will be fixed. Finishes and furnishings were modern and clean, granite in kitchen. Parking is 4 steps from the front door. Owner is extremely nice, welcoming!
