Literally right on the Paso Wine Trail, we welcome you to notable, world class wineries just steps outside your front door. Downtown Paso Robles, with all its fabulous restaurants and shopping, is an easy 5-minute drive away. Head west and you will be watching waves at the coast in under 30 minutes. This impeccably appointed guest house attached to the main home offers serenity, privacy, and everything you need, whether your visit is a fun weekend road trip or a longer “home away from home” stay. Walnut hill is a 1200 square foot, 2 bedroom, 2.5 bath guest house with a fully equipped gourmet kitchen, spacious dining room and living room, washer and dryer, and expansive views of the neighboring vineyards. Both bedrooms (one king bed, one queen bed) have their own ensuite private bathrooms and walk-in closets. Find an additional charming powder room off the living room area for your convenience. Luxurious linens and towels are waiting to embrace you in comfort. The east-facing front porch and lawn are the perfect spots for warm morning coffee and shady afternoon drinks. Giant oaks, walnut trees, and olive trees line the property and create a playground for our resident squirrels, deer, and a variety of birds. A dedicated driveway takes you directly to the guest house and offers convenient, safe, private parking. Watch for the colorful barrel that marks the turnoff into the brand new, fully paved driveway! Property was beautiful. Very well stocked with everything you could need - even creamers, sugar and coffee! Minor glitches at check in as our provided code did not open the door - but with just a phone call we got a new code and got right in . This exceeded our expectations and hope to come back ! Thank you for a truly wonderful stay .

Great for a Relaxing Weekend

Walnut Hill was a great choice for a nice, relaxing weekend with a couple of girlfriends. With 2 bedrooms and multiple bathrooms, it was perfect for me and my friends. The property has a beautiful view and is less than a 10 minute drive from city center. If there was anything we wished would be addressed, it would be the driveway - it is very narrow. And when you get to the top of it, there is a tree somewhat in the center of the unpaved area that you may have to maneuver your vehicle around. Nonetheless, I would still recommend Walnut Hill for a little getaway.

Marvelous!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Lovely house in a beautiful location. The attention to detail by the hosts is impressive - from the information package to labeling the filtered water tap and location of the fire extinguisher, everything was easy and very nicely done. The linens and mattresses were soft, the house was clean. Very easy access to the surrounding area. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for a little bit of quiet and privacy while being close to all the action.

Wonderful house for 2 couples!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location. Super clean and very well stocked (coffee, creamer, tide pods, etc.), although since we were there for the weekend we didn't need to use anything. Looked like it was just renovated but I think they just take pride in their home and keep it super clean. I would definitely stay there again!It rained while we were there so unfortunately we couldn't enjoy the front yard view. Check in and check out access was super easy. They even have a computerized information screen in the dining room!My only recommendations to make this an even better experience would be to sweep the entry walkway before guests arrive, as there were a ton of leaves, and assess the heating system in the left bedroom/bathroom as it remained very cold through the night. Overall, a near perfect house!

Wine wine everywhere!

Could use other comfy living room furniture! Also larger tv. Put that one in one of the bed rooms. Really should have windex, hard to clean counter tops without. Fridge needs a bulb also. New bed pillows would be nice. Otherwise the place is great. Love the electronic screen, all your starter items and all the snuggle blankets. I own two Vrbo’s in Monmouth Beach New Jersey. Nice thick soft towels were great also!

Wine country perfection

Four of us stayed in this amazing home for a Paso wine country vacay. The location is perfect for both wineries and downtown restaurants. The decor, comfort, and amenities make this rental one of the top rentals I have ever booked. The beds are very comfortable. Blackout curtains allow for sleeping in if needed. The owner has thought of everything to make the stay pleasant. The kitchen was extremely well stocked. The bathrooms were stocked with plush towels and toiletries. This unit is perfection and we will return.

Perfect in Every Way

This lovely home is well situated amongst the vineyards yet quite accessible to scenic downtown Paso Robles and main roads. The grounds and interior are modern and extremely well maintained. We enjoyed a wonderful two days here and would recommend it to anyone.

Wine Tasting Getaway

Walnut Hill was a comfortable house for two couples. Very quiet and peaceful. Excellent location for wineries on the West side of Paso. The host was very hospitable, leaving a bottle of wine and chocolates. Would definitely stay here again.

Walnut Hill is an amazing property. Welcoming, nicely appointed and decor is thoughtfully selected. Molly is a gracious hostess and the welcome basket was a nice touch. It was so kind of her to order up perfect weather and picturesque panoramic views. We would absolutely book here again if we make it back to Paso.

We really enjoyed the beautiful vineyard views from this property. The house was well appointed and clean. We had everything we needed to feel at home. The only complaint was the very squeaky bed in the smaller bedroom. Whenever there was movement in the bed, you could hear it in the next room. Otherwise, a perfect stay.

Very nice property, great location

The property was very clean and the decor was excellent. We appreciated the coffee, chocolates and the nice bottle of wine. The location (proximity to downtown, wine country, etc.) was excellent. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect for a wine tasting getaway with friends

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Walnut Hill was a perfect place for a wine tasting trip in Paso Robles for two couples. The location just off of 46 West and the 101 was great and the view from the front porch overlooking vineyards and the surrounding area was breathtaking. Inside, all of the amenities you could ask for were provided and everything was nicely decorated, clean and well maintained. We arrived to a nice welcome basket of wine and chocolates and were impressed at the comfortable space for sitting, eating, and sleeping. The separate en suite bathrooms were a welcome benefit over so many places with a shared bathroom. The kitchen is well equipped to cook some of your own meals. The gas grill outside allowed us to grill some steaks for dinner one night. Access to the house is easy and secure, and working with Paso Robles Vacation Rentals was a breeze. Communications was great and the check-in and check-out process could all be done through an app or using the information display in the house. We did have a chance to meet the owner, Molly, and she was extremely helpful and friendly. We will not hesitate to visit Walnut Hill the next time we are in Paso Robles.
