Bright and cheerful. Large windows throughout. Walking distance to downtown Asheville, Reed Creek Greenway, UNC Asheville, The Asheville Botanical Gardens, Harris Teeter and Trader Joe's. Cozy, clean, home with newly renovated bathrooms and kitchen. Open floor plan with original hardwood floors throughout and full basement with washer and dryer. Sunny, eat-in kitchen with stainless appliances, granite counter tops, island with seating and natural wood cabinets. Large front porch for seasonal gatherings. Spacious private backyard with established gardens and off-street parking.

Built in 1915, and completely renovated in 2013-2014. New electrical, HVAC (central A/C), and plumbing. Long, elegant bathtub in primary bath, and large walk-in closet in primary suite.

Enjoy coffee on the sunny front porch or on the large backyard brick patio.

Beautiful House and Amazing Location
We very much enjoyed our stay in the house and recommend the place for it's roominess and its excellent location.The house is very comfortable and charming inside and out. Unfortunately Hurricane Helene hit mid-stay so we had to cut our trip a bit short. Mary was very communicative and helpful throughout our stay.

Best of several Asheville rentals over the years. Owner was very responsive. We enjoyed the spacious layout and comfortable and well maintained furniture and the updated appliances. Everything works! Minor areas of improvement: operating instructions for the "streaming only"tv; add an umbrella to the patio and replace the grill and cover. Overall enjoyable stay.

Wonderful comfortable place
The property was excellent for 3 friends. Very comfortable and centrally located near groceries, food and access to Asheville. The best was the front porch with a swing! Great for morning coffee and watching the kids, neighbors and dogs taking walks. Definitely recommend.

Cozy comfortable cottage
The location, walkability and spaciousness of this home was wonderful. I walked to Trader Joes, Whole Foods and to Kaiut Yoga classes at Asheville Yoga Center. We stayed here for a month while looking at homes. My favorite resting spot was the porch swing. Mary was friendly, communicative and quickly resolved any issues that arose. Lovely setting and comfortable beds. We made friends with a neighborhood cat and even saw some black bears.

Home away from home
What a wonderful stay! The home is clean, updated and well stocked. It's well situated in a quiet neighborhood, but walkable to downtown and a short drive from great hikes. The WiFi is excellent, and the small office in the house was perfect for my husband to work remotely for a month. Mary is a great host! Cute house in a great neighborhood
We are frequent visitors to Asheville and have stayed in a few different VRBOs there. We were in town for a concert an to celebrate our anniversary. This is maybe our favorite place. It’s a cute house that has been updated with a spacious, and well-stocked kitchen and great bathrooms. The house was bright and cheerful and the front porch was perfect for coffee and relaxing in the afternoon and evening. We loved the neighborhood as well. There are close restaurants and shops and it a pretty easy walk to downtown Asheville. It was a perfect house for our weekend. Thank you!

Comforts of Home Great Neighborhood
The house was comfortable, roomy and had everything we needed. The host was helpful when needed. Walking distance to almost anything you could dream up in Asheville. Highly recommended. FYI the house is older and therefore has character, if you can’t find charm in rolling hardwood floors this might not be the right place for you. For me the charm was in the bones of this older home with all the modern conveniences.

Comfy Cottage in North Asheville
Our stay in this lovely, comfortable 3 bedroom home couldn't have been better! It's in a residential area close to downtown Asheville, South Slope, the Biltmore and the Blue Ridge Parkway. There is great attention to detail, artistic decor and everything needed to feel at home! The property manager was friendly, helpful and responsive. Can't wait to return!!

I loved this house and garden. It's proximity to groceries, coffee shop, restaurants, and the ease of getting around town makes it ideal. The kitchen is well equipped; bathrooms great. The manager, Mary is just wonderful and very responsive. I have booked again; that's how much I liked it.

Exactly as described
We had a wonderful month long stay at Mary’s place in Asheville. The home is centrally located and we felt very safe in the neighborhood with our two young children. We were able to take advantage of all Asheville has to offer and really get to know this wonderful area. The home is comfortable and clean and had just about everything we needed for the month as a family of four. Mary is extremely responsive and was always available to help us with anything we needed. We would highly recommend this home.

Cozy Asheville Home in Amazing Location!
My boyfriend and I stayed here for 6 weeks and had an awesome trip. This house is in a wonderful, safe location and walkable to many grocery stores, restaurants, etc. Mary was great to work with and was an incredibly responsive host. The house is comfortable, clean, and has great internet for those working remotely. We were so sad to leave at the end of our stay. Thanks again Mary!

A PERFECT Asheville home!
This is a perfect home for those looking to stay in Asheville for a bit. My husband and I stayed here for a few months and LOVED it. It had everything we needed and Mary was amazing to work with. We truly could not have asked for a better set up. They have fast wifi, the house is decorated with care and the outside yard work was well maintained. You are walking distance to just about anywhere you need to go or a short drive to some of the best of Asheville. You really cannot go wrong with this house. Wonderful Home, in a cute neighborhood and close to everything!
We had the privilege of staying in this cottage for a few months and we could not be happier. The home was perfect for our stay. There is plenty of space as there were just two of us and there are three bedrooms. We each had a space to work (office) and had plenty of room for guests too. It is cutely decorated and Mary is wonderful to work with. She was VERY attentive to anything we needed and was always just a call or text away. The location is WONDERFUL! Walking distance to so much! Trader Joes, Whole Foods, Chick-fil-A, Starbucks, parks, tennis courts, pools....so much! You can take a VERY short drive to downtown or a nice longer walk and enjoy the wonderful and quirky downtown. You are just a short drive to the River Arts District. We could not have asked for a better place to call home for the few months we were in Asheville!
