The newly renovated Willow Springs Lodge was designed for comfort for large gatherings with a spacious living room/dining room/wet bar area and a well equipped chef’s kitchen to feed your group efficiently. We offer private queen bedroom suites to an upstairs bunk room, ideal for family reunions and intimate retreats for up to 20 people. The upstairs features the unique private "hobbit room" with a full mattress, and 6 twins beds and room for additional sleeping bags. The main floor offers two half-baths and one shower room for common use. The rooms are equipped with HVAC for both heat and AC. The commercial-like chef's kitchen is equipped with 2 large ovens, 24" griddle top, and 6-burner stovetop. A BBQ is located on the back patio. The side-by-side commercial refrigerator and freezer makes storage of food for large groups a breeze. The 3-compartment sink is ideal for pots and pans, and the commercial dishwasher cleans dishes in a fraction of the time. Eating areas include the dining room table (seats 8-12), 14-foot original bar (seats 8) and outdoor patio table (seats 8). Additional table and chairs are available upon request. The living room seats 8 people comfortably on armchairs and leather couch in front of the gas fireplace. The original "Weeping Willow" bar has been preserved and is equipped with a refrigerator with ice-maker, bar sink, and ample room to store and prepare drinks. The back patio offers a tranquil natural environment to relax and enjoy the outdoors. The sound of three cascading waterfalls and meandering creek accents the peacefulness of your outdoor meals. Immediately adjacent is a 6-person hot-tub to soak after the day's activities. (NOTE: hot tub is seasonal Oct.-May.) Pass through the gate into the herb garden to cut some fresh herbs for your meal, or just sit and enjoy nature and the chickens. Make family memories roasting s'mores at the fire pit under the stars. Willow Springs is a unique farm setting with a touch of forward thinking. Additional amenities (which must be arranged in advance and at additional cost) include use of the Heart Center yoga/meditation studio, event terrace, open-air pavilion, wood-fired sauna, and outdoor beverage bar. For those that want to enjoy the fresh air of the Tahoe National Forest we also offer a fully fenced camping area that sleeps an additional 20+ people. Rustic cabins and yurt also available. Electric vehicles can charge at our on-site BLINK dual charging station. We are conveniently located to numerous Yuba River swimming holes, boating and fishing on Bullards Bar Reservoir, hiking, biking, and more. The Yoga Studio, Sauna and use of the Pavilion are not included in the rental of the lodge. When renting the lodge: The Yoga Studio is available for use for $150/day. Partial day use is available upon request. The Pavilion (including some tables and chairs) is available for $150/day. Partial day use is available upon request. The use of the wood burning sauna must be reserved and a $50 charge will be assessed. Guests will access the lodge or their private rooms via a key code on the exterior door. You will have your door access code before you arrive and everything will be ready for you. We would like to briefly meet with the lead meal prep person for your group to provide some in-person instruction regarding use of the commercial kitchen. There is a lodge manual for guests to reference. You will also have our phone number for texting/calling, and because we live on-site we could be there shortly should you need us. Located on State Highway 49, the Willow Springs Lodge is easy to find and with cell service coverage and Wi-Fi. You don't have to worry about getting lost on dirt roads with no way to communicate. This area offers so much to make your vacation special in terms of events and places. Within 10-15 minutes, the Oregon Creek swimming area provides a refreshing plunge on a hot day. Or, go south to the breathtaking waterway of the South Yuba River or hiking and biking on one of many trails in the Tahoe National Forest. The picturesque downtowns of Nevada City and Grass Valley offer a "movie set experience" with plenty of restaurants and shops along the boardwalks.
