This mountain home is nestled next to the woods with the front deck giving a perfect relaxing views of the mountains, pond(no fishing) and the night sky. It is on a private lane along with the owners home, their other vacation rental, and one private vacation home. The main floor has the kitchen, bath, dining room, and 1 bedroom with a double bed. The lower level has the additional bedroom with 2 single beds. 1 Double bed Futon and a half bath. Will accommodate 5 guests. Wi-Fi is available. Due to the secluded location cell service is not available at the house unless your cell phone has wifi calling. Service is available about a half mile out the lane.
Charging stations for Electric Vehicles arein Wellsboro about 13 miles away.

birthday getaway

Gwen and Paul were excellent hosts, very friendly and helpful. Area was quiet with beautiful scenery. This was the perfect getaway and we would absolutely visit again.

Excellent cabin

My wife and I had a wonderful trip to Morris Mountain Rental. The cabin was absolutely perfect. Very clean, well stocked, and extremely comfortable. We stayed 4 nights and wish we could have stayed longer. Paul and Gwen were the perfect hosts. They took care of everything for us. We will be back!

Quiet Country Retreat

This is a lovely, quiet country retreat nestled in the hills above the Pine Creek gorge. Our group of fly fishers enjoyed a wonderful weekend here that included practice fishing in the on-site pond. The helpful, friendly hosts are close by and referred us to a nearby restaurant. They even helped us locate a place to buy gear that one of our group forgot. We would definitely return for another stay.

Very nice place to stay we loved it!

Me and my husband absolutely loved this place, it’s so comfortable inside and so beautiful around the house even it’s in winter time. We definitely want to come back in the future, the host are very nice couple, we enjoyed talking to them!

Peaceful and Beautiful

An amazing place. Well maintained inside and out. Views are gorgeous. Gwen and Paul are excellent hosts. We liked the fact that Gwen wanted to say goodbye to us before we left. She explained everything to us in detail and even told us the history of the house. We will definitely be back.

Autumn Stay

I have never received such a warm welcome! From greeting us on arrival, giving us a tour of the rental, and all the little notes with instructions and things to do, Gwen really thought of everything! The property is in a lovely, peaceful location where you can disconnect from all electronics and just relax. If we are ever in the area, we will be sure to stay again!

Very Enjoyable Stay

Owners cheerfully greeted us upon our arrival. The property is very beautiful and comfortable. The deck is amazing and provides for great views. The A/C works great and was needed during the heat wave. I would definitely recommend this porpery to anyone who needs to get away fom the daily grind.

Quiet and mystical!

The house was quietly tucked away on a mountainside with a beautiful view! It was very quiet and dark so the night sky was lit up only by the stars! No cell phone service so nobody could disturb us, and we had wonderful hosts who greeted us and were very kind and eager to set us up for a great trip!

My family and I had a relaxing weekend. Gwyn and Paul are a wonderful couple and are so sweet. The house is roomy and cozy at the same time. My teens enjoyed the nature in the pond. Star gazing was amazing from the deck. It was peace on earth while we were there.
