The property offers beautiful views of pastures, woods, and sunsets and is located just 10 minutes (4 miles) from downtown Iowa City, the home of the University of Iowa & University of Iowa Hospital & Clinics.

The living area of the home is all on one floor.

Property owner resides next door providing easy and quick access for check-in/out or any assistance, as needed. The rental property is one of four private homes on the lane.

Iowa City country home

The house is located on the north side of IC. Perfect for my family’s extended stay to be with relatives. Quiet Iowa countryside. Love seeing the deer, cows, ducks and guineas each day on the drive in/out. Home was clean, beds were comfortable, the kitchen stocked with the basic necessities. Nice decks to enjoy sunrise or sunset. Easy assess to IC and I-80.

Great weekend in IC.

This was a great house right outside of Iowa City. It was a cute home out in the peaceful countryside, but super close drive to downtown. I will definitely stay here again.

Great Stay

We were in town for an Iowa football game. The house is great! The kitchen is well stocked with everything you may need. There were small things included that made a big difference. Paper towels/soap/dishwashing liquid. It was so nice to have those things available, as we were only there two nights. The neighborhood is very quiet. We did try to get an uber to get to the game and didn't have much luck. We were able to get an uber to the house, just not from the house. I would recommend this property!

Beautiful, well stocked county home

Quiet location. Roomy house. Stocked kitchen. So many towels and extra blankets. Very clean. We were so happy when we walked in. It was perfect for our family. We made breakfast each morning and enjoyed movie time in the evenings. They even left us a pack of shortbread cookies and some sparkling water. We would DEFINITELY book this house again when we are in the area.

Cute and comfy

Our stay here was amazing! There is so much wildlife around to enjoy but you’re also close to the city if you need something! Pam was great, always communicated quickly and it was nice knowing she is the neighbor as well. The place was clean and super cozy! If I ever need to come to Iowa again, I will definitely be staying here!

Graduation Gift

House was beautiful, secluded and within 10 minutes of town and university . My family came for graduation weekend. Had a wonderful time for a fraction of what the hotels were charging. Host was receptive and responsive to all our questions and requests. I only wish we had found this property earlier in my daughter's time in Iowa City. This truly was a gift for myself and my family... being all together (6 of us) and celebrating. Thank you, Pam!

Quiet Country Getaway

Great stay for our visit to Iowa City for a football game.

This place was great for our group as we came to go to the Iowa football game. It had everything we could possibly need and it was nice to have some room to hangout. It is in a great location as it is in the country so it’s nice and quiet, but only a 10 minute Uber away from downtown!

Serenity Cottage

This three bedroom, 2 bath cottage was immaculate with all the amenities needed for comfort, cooking and gathering with family and friends. The spacious, country setting is only 5 minutes from downtown yet quiet, peaceful and surrounded by natural beauty. The hosts were very attentive and accommodating.

We are local Iowa City residents of over 35 years. We live next door to the rental property on a beautiful acreage. Our house is a 100+ year old farm house with a barn and pond. We enjoy nature, woods, wildlife and quiet rural living and are knowledgeable about local recommendations.

Our home is located on the edge of town, providing a peaceful respite for us as well as visitors, while still being close to downtown Iowa City attractions. We have easy access of 5minutes to groceries, and coffee shops. The property is private yet we're available to guests as needed.
