Hamac Suites presents the Bourgelat suite, the urban cocoon for a unique stay. With a surface area of 90m2, the flat is ideally located in the antique dealers' district in the heart of the Presqu'île.
Our little extra: a suspended XL hammock to relax in after your day!
This flat is composed of a large bright living room, a fully equipped kitchen with a central island.
You will have 3 beautiful bedrooms with double Queen size beds, 2 large bathrooms with Italian showers but also:

Great location

This apartment is located close to coffee, patisserie, the metro and vieux Lyon. We were there when the temperature was quite warm, and the bedrooms have low ceilings and no exterior windows. Three fans were provided, but it was still very hot sleeping. We needed to move a fan each day if we wanted a fan in the living room. Please note, while there are two showers, there is one toilet in a separate room. All bathrooms are on the first floor and bedrooms are all upstairs. The kitchen was well stocked, the appliances nice, and the washer dryer worked (just be prepared for each small load to take several hours, but this is common for European washer/dryer combos). We’d stay here again, especially in cooler weather.

Great location but cleanliness was poor

Upon arriving - dust, trash left from previous guests, strong smell in the bathroom… no napkins or paper towels in the kitchen… tea kettle disgusting… not a great first impression. We ended up doing some cleaning upon our arrival and then went to the Proxi store right at the bottom to buy some towels, coffee, etc. Another negative aspect was the departure we had to walk 10min to a separate area to return the keys… to find out that the code was not working… they asked us to bring back the keys to the apartment… so we wasted 30min walking back and forth to the apartment…On a positive note, the communication was great and the team was responsive the moment we did mention the lack of cleanliness of the space. The location is great.

The apartment was in a very good location close to city centre, the apartment was well presented with only a few minor blemishes, no wifi could be connected and cupboard in bedroom broken also kitchen cabinets not well fitted, this did not distract from our stay which we all thoroughly enjoyed would recommend to others lookingto stay in Lyon

Needs a little work to be great

Great location and neighborhood- can walk to every where in old Lyon. Comfortable and nicely decorated although the furniture is very inexpensive. There were no kitchen utensils- no knives, forks, spoons or cooking utensils at all! Pretty much made the kitchen useless. Also, both the owner/agent and VRBO need to do a much better job of describing the property. There is no mention that all three bedrooms are upstairs while all the "bathrooms" are on the lower level. In addition, the ad does not plainly tell you that each of the "bathrooms" are only a sink and shower and that the single toilet is next to the kitchen. While the ad may infer these facts, the situation was certainly not clear to us when we booked the property and that caused a problem for one of our party who needs to sleep on the same level as the toilet.
