Tilghman Lakes by the Sea is located only steps from the beach in the Ocean Drive/Cherry Grove section of North Myrtle Beach and has easy access to the beach. YOUR RENTAL INCLUDES : 2 UMBRELLAS, 4 BEACH CHAIRS, 3 BIKES, 2 BOOGIE BOARDS, 2 SKIM BOARDS, ARTIC BEACH COOLER AND A BEACH CART FOR TRANSPORT. ALL BED AND BATHROOM LINENS ALSO INCLUDED. These low-rise Condos are only three stories high on raised stilts providing parking underneath. There is an outdoor pool, hot tub (seasonal) and grill area. Unit #C3 is located on the top (third) floor and features two large private decks with fully equipped kitchen, and full size washer/dryer, Flat screen TV's in both bedrooms and living room, Family attractions, golf & miniature golf, amusement park, water sports & fishing are all in close proximity to the Tilghman Lakes by the Sea. We rent strictly to families and mature persons over the age of 24. Property is privately owned with beach themed décor. Linens are included. No Smoking allowed in Unit, balcony, or on either side of entrance. No Pets, Boats, Motorcycles, Golf Carts, Trailers, or RV's allowed. Unit has Ring Doorbell with motion sensor for security and package delivery notifications.

Very generous and accommodating

I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Joe's place. Everything was clean and so thankful they allowed us to use beach chairs and umbrellas. Bikes were also available but we did not use but just one. Joe was extremely nice and thoughtful in all is communication. I would definitely stay there again. If you want a great place to stay and at a great price this is it.

Perfect Location

We had a wonderful stay! Location was perfect! Joe the owner was very responsive to our needs. Just a really really great guy. Everything was provided including beach chairs, etc. The furnishings in this unit are very comfortable. We have never had living room furniture this comfortable in a rental. Even had a fireplace. Everything in the description is the way it is. Thanks Joe, for a great stay!

Nice place to stay for vacation

The place gave a cozy beach vibe. Our host was more than accommodating and understanding. He offered us to check in a day earlier if that was convenient for my family. Also checking in throughout our trip to see if we needed anything. The location was perfect! Literally across the street from the beach. Just keep in mind our place was 30 min from the strip/boardwalk. But overall I enjoyed my stay.

Comfortable Condo with Great Owner!

My older kids (13 and 11) and I really enjoyed our stay at Joe's condo. It's obvious that this is a beloved family getaway in addition to him sharing it with all of us lucky renters. Joe called me two days before check-in just to make sure we didn't have any questions, and to wish us a nice trip. That was very heartening, having never stayed at the condo before! The check-in and check-out were very easy and all done via text with Joe. His check-out instructions in particular were some of the simplest and easiest I've encountered. The condo was warm, welcoming and well-appointed, and the ability to use the extra beach chairs, umbrellas, bikes, etc. was fantastic. The pool was very nice. My one caveat would be for parents of young children who need to nap during the day, or light sleepers who want to go to bed before 11 pm. Music from the neighboring hotel's pool area plays from about 10 am - 11 pm every day (maybe only during the summer?), and the bedrooms are close enough that it could be disruptive without the proper precautions (ear plus, white noise machines, etc.). Luckily it wasn't an issue for us!

PERFECT BEACH VACATION SPOT!

We LOVED this property. This was our first time in this unit and our first time at Tilghman Lakes. This community was a private spot but close to lots of stores, restaurants, activities, etc. The grounds were beautifully landscaped and very clean! Public access to the beach was only a few steps away - so convenient! The unit was clean and well-maintained! It had everything we needed and all was in perfect working order. Lots of space and the beds were very comfortable. The owner also provided several beach amenities which we utilized - chairs, cooler, umbrellas, etc. We felt this unit was well-appointed and loved sitting at the high-top table on the front porch where we could feel the ocean breeze in the morning! Communication with the owner was top-notch. Any questions we had were answered quickly and with a cheerful attitude. We will be back!

Clean and Beachy

Clean, spacious, beach decor. A bit dated bathrooms and carpeting, but overall all we needed. Two reasons for our rating of 4 and not 5: we were on 3rd floor with no elevator and listing stated an ocean view and it wasn’t very visible.

Spring vacation

Our condo was clean, well equipped , close to the beach and ideally located in North Myrtle Beach. We enjoyed the well maintained pool area and hot tub. The BBQ was also a nice benefit. Our only comment is that the mattresses and bicycles are due for an upgrade soon. Overall, we had a very good experience.

Joe was great and answered any questions asked. Condo was clean and in perfect location, close to beach and all local shops and restaurants. I hate to complain Yet honestly, the unit could have been cleaned better. It took me two hours to clean the unit to something decent. The unit had enough supplies and the owners was more then lovely, yet cleanliness plays a huge part in my enjoyment. When booking these types of units I’m learning to be prepared to clean. I don’t know where the cleaning fees go because I deserves mines back!

Fantastic girls trip!

Loved this property. It is spacious, clean, and well equipped. We definitely made use of the beach cart and chairs, and there are restrooms right by the beach where you cross the road. The covered deck was great for rainy mornings, and the pool is an added bonus. I can't say enough about how attentive and friendly Joe was. He's a wonderful host that goes the extra mile!
