A total remodel was performed in 2018, but numerous of upgrades have been added since then. In 2020, the owners added a private heated pool and hot tub. In 2021, they added a massive back deck with a dining table and dining bar, all set under a beautiful live oak with hanging outdoor lighting. In 2023, they added a patio in front of the home. It has all sorts of hip decorations, jungle plants, chairs, and a swing that hangs from a separate Live Oak. These historic trees really make the property and are a feature the island is known for.

Enter through the foyer to access the open, vaulted living room with seating for six and an adjacent six-person dining area. Quartz counters, updated appliances, and shaker cabinets, along with an integrated coffee station (drip and single cup options), a farmer’s sink, and a large pantry complete the kitchen. Seating for four can be found on the kitchen’s bar.

An adjacent family room includes a sweeping curved sectional seating six, a work area with a large desk and chair, an additional chair with a side table, and a gas fireplace. The fireplace is only available for use between September 1st and March 1st. French doors open for outdoor dining with a grill and large table for eight. There is where you'll find the pool, hot tub, and large back deck. If you would like to heat either the pool or hot tub there is a fee. The backyard is fully fenced.

All three private bedrooms, including two luxurious en-suites, are located in a separate part of the home, accessed from the foyer. Premium bedding and linens are used throughout the home.

The first bedroom includes a king bed, walk-in closet, chair, 50-inch television with Roku, and an additional queen Murphy bed, disguised as a chest. A pocket door leads to a beautifully updated bathroom with double vanities, a glass-enclosed walk-in shower, a separate tub, and a large linen closet.

The second bedroom includes a King bed, with an additional day bed with a trundle (2 twin XLs), 50-inch television with Netflix, Prime Video, and Samsung TV Plus. A vanity sink, large shower, and walk-in closet await in the oversize bathroom behind the chic barn door.

A third bedroom includes a Queen bed, and an ample closet. The hallway bathroom for this bedroom, includes a single vanity and shower/tub combination. A laundry room with a folding area is located off this hallway as well.

All in all, this is one of the best vacation homes on Saint Simons. The owners upgrade this home constantly. This is a true second home, not just a house crammed with beds for profit.
