Gepflegt und gepflegt 4 Schlafzimmer / 2 Badezimmer, 2-stöckiges Haus in einer ruhigen Straße am südlichen New Smyrna Beach. Unsere Lage könnte nicht perfekter sein. Für den Anfang, wir sind nur wenige Schritte vom Strand entfernt (nicht angetriebenen Abschnitt). Als nächstes können Sie zwei Blocks zum berühmten & beliebte rustikale Restaurant / Bar gehen, JB des Fishcamp. Nur zwei Blocks südlich ist die Grenze für die Canaveral National Seashore Park, die aus 25 Meilen von unberührten Strand des Atlantischen Ozeans und Dünen und ist die längste Ausdehnung von unbebautem Land entlang der Ostküste von Florida Wenn Wildtiere zu sehen, ist Ihre Sache, sind Seekühe oft gesehen in einem Bezirk Riverfront front~~POS=HEADCOMP Park Beweidung mit einem Pier, das nur drei Blocks ist.

Unser Strandabschnitt hat keine Fahr- und sehr limted öffentliche Parkplätze, wodurch es praktisch privat. Mit einer Baulücke nebenan, wir haben genügend Parkplätze für Ihr Wohnmobil, Boot und Freunde.

Von uns können Sie Strand zu Fuß weniger als 10 Minuten und überqueren in die Canaveral National Seashore Park, wo es absolut keine Entwicklung. Sie erkunden Sie die Strände und Dünen in ihrem natürlichen Urzustand. Wenn Leute zu beobachten ist Ihre Sache, können Sie die gleiche Strecke in Richtung Norden gehen, und Sie werden bei Mary McLeod Bethune Bezirk Beach Park (siehe Links zu beiden Parks unten). Dort finden Sie Surfer, ein Rettungsschwimmer und viele Einrichtungen genießen Sie die Sonne (auch Tennisplätze, Basketballplätze und Angelsteg über die Straße, Fluss) zu finden.

Warum zahlen einen Arm und ein Bein für einen Strandurlaub, wenn man ein paar Schritte zu gehen und bleiben für den halben Preis? Für das, was Sie für unser Ort zu bezahlen werde, können Sie eine weitere Reise leisten. Oder, noch besser, bleiben Sie mit uns doppelt so lang!

Tranquility

Perfect place for a peaceful getaway with family. Enjoyed walking on the beach collecting shells, fishing and playground at nearby Bethune Park or sitting on the balcony listening to the waves. We didn’t want to leave.

Great location

We loved the ‘Lake’ house! We were greeted by free roaming chickens! Check-in was easy. Just steps away from the public beach access. Really liked the upstairs/downstairs living area and having our morning coffee on the deck listening to the waves.

Wonderful vacation

We enjoyed our summer vacation at the 'Lake House'. This was our first time to New Smyrna Beach and we enjoyed it thoroughly. This house is ideal for families. Our group of 6 had plenty of space. You can not get the same privacy and conveniences in a condo. It was a home away from home. On a quiet, non busy road just steps from the beach. We felt very safe here with the kids. You can hear the ocean when you open the door. There were towels, beach toys and chairs to use. We enjoyed the video library on rainy afternoons. Plenty of space to spread out if someone needed a nap! We enjoyed several suggested restaurants. The state park and turtle mound boat tour were 5 minutes away. This was an awesome location to have what felt like a private beach and then just be a short drive for day trips. We visited the space center, the light house and St. Augustine too. Lots of fun memories made staying here. One suggestion to travelers- pack your bug spray and hydrocortisone!

Fabulous beach vacation

Our family had a great time together enjoying the beach just across the street—collecting shells, riding the waves, sitting and listening to the waves. The house has lots of rooms to accommodate a large family and we enjoyed the movies & games provided. Great vacation option!

Great beach house

Perfect beach house for our family vacation. It was a very short walk to the beach access. The beach was not crowded since there was not any public parking close to this area. Loved the layout of the house because it had lots of space.

Family vacation

What a great home! My family and I had an amazing time! Beach everyday, had some take out for the local restaurants! It was nice to get away with all the craziness in the world right now!! Definitely going to book this place again and again!!

Great house - plenty of room for our whole family

We really enjoyed staying at the Lake’s beach house. The owner supplied everything we needed and we were able to walk to the beach every day since it was only a couple of houses over to the walkway. The beach was never crowded and the area restaurants were fantastic. Would highly recommend El Patron for authentic Mexican food and JB’s Fish Camp for seafood. The only issue we ran into were the mosquitoes, but there isn’t anything the owner could do about those. Thanks for a great week.

Great place to unwind

Debi's house was a great respite for our after busy days. The kids loved playing in the water and the street was quiet and safe. The house had all the necessities of home and plenty of space for everyone to have alone time and to spend time together. The beach toys and chairs along with towels we're a great addition and a great thing not to pack. We'd definitely stay again.

Relaxing week at the "Lake House"

My family had a fun and relaxing week at the Lake's beach house. Compared to some of the other condos and townhomes we've stayed in at various beaches, this house was quite spacious. We had three adults and two young teens and never felt the least bit cramped. A nice sized kitchen and dining table, as well as two living areas, the pool table, and a fantastic balcony had us enjoying our time in the house as much as our time on the sand. My wife was thrilled with the full sized washer/drier (as opposed to the typical over/under, compact ones we usually see at beach rentals). We brought our own beach toys, but there was a nice selection of chairs and boogie boards for use. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, dinnerware, pots, pans, and bowls (and most of it even matched!). Food-wise, there were very basic essentials (salt, pepper), so you would need to provide most of what you might want there. I actually didn't mind at all, as I'm a little skeptical of using the "community" food that is left at rental properties. The kitchen includes two coffee makers - a Keurig and a 12-cup traditional drip machine. There were plenty of towels for showers and beach trips. The kids enjoyed the Wifi connection and DVD collection, as well as the pool table. Except for one day-trip to Kennedy Space Center (about an hour's drive) we spent every day out on the beach. The walk to the beach is a piece of cake - up the street a few houses, then right over the public access. The beach was very quiet during our stay (end of March). Right now, the beach itself is not very wide, and very slim when high tide is up. I read that they have been dealing with some erosion from the regular tides, as well as some of last year's storms, but it wasn't a big problem. We just checked the tide chart, and took a nap during high tide. The national seashore is an easy walk south, if you want that more "undeveloped" feel. We did not eat out, but there looked to be some great local places to go. Flagler Avenue in New Smyrna is a nice place to stroll and browse through shops and cafes. We did get some fresh fish and crab cakes to take home at Ocean's Seafoods Beachside. It was delicious. Overall, we had a fantastic week and wouldn't hesitate to return.

Excellent location and wonderful well kept property

We have stayed at many properties in New Smyrna over the years. Debi Lake's property is now our favorite. Their home is well equipped and VERY clean and the location is perfect. The walk to the beach is shorter than a beach front condo in most cases. The beach, being this far south, has few people on it and is surrounded by wonderful nature. The home is very roomy and we had no problems and no issues - everything was comfortable and it had all that you need. Debi even provides chairs and beach towels - outdoor shower and hose for rinsing, etc. Can't say enough good things about this property.

Wonderful well stocked house by the beach!!

Had a great time in the Lake House! The house is well stocked with everything you need for your beach stay. We enjoyed being across the street from the VERY private beach. The upper deck gave great ocean views! Really enjoyed the pool table. The location is great for those who wish to be a bit removed from the traditional crowded touristy areas. House was clean and Debi was very easy to work with. JB Fishcamp great restaurant! Ate there twice!

Nice real people’s house! Very relaxing. Weather was awful but still plenty to do. Will come again!

Volusia County needs to fix those beach walkways! This was the only bummer and we found that they’ve been out since hurricane Matthew! Younguns among us climbed the rocks to dig for sand fleas and fish for pompano but the elders stuck to the walks in the National Seashore which is so close it’s like a personal playground! Easy boat ramp access and nice walks. We saw armadillos, dolphins, gopher tortoises, and raccoons. Great spot.

Perfect location and well equipped!

We loved our stay over the Thanksgiving holidays. The house was clean, very well equipped and located within a short walk of the beach and a park on the river with a playground and a boardwalk where we watched dolphins. Moreover, the Canaveral National Sea Shore and its miles of unpopulated beach is a very short drive away. A great value in a great place.

This house is wonderful! Probably one of the cleanest houses we have ever rented on the beach. I would absolutely reccommend this house for anyone who wants to vacation by the beach. Great location, street was quiet. Don was excellent to deal with when making reservations, always responded to my emails, text no matter what. The house is just perfect. Husband and I was only there for a few days while we were in town for the races but after those were all over we enjoyed our last night at the house playing pool and sitting on the upstairs deck. The pics really don show how great a vacation home this is!!!

Relaxing family time

We really enjoyed The Lake house. It was exactly what we were looking for in a beach getaway. The house provides plenty of space, is clean, neat and furnished in an easy comfortable style. We felt very comfortable sharing the space with our four legged kids and grateful for owners who allow well behaved pets. Steps from the beach and BJ's Fish camp was convenient and far enough south on the beach for plenty of privacy. Loved it and hope to go back again soon!

Extremely Clean, Comfortable and Quiet

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay here during the New Years Holiday. The neighborhood is quiet and you can sit on the deck and listen to the waves crashing on the shore. The pictures here do not do the property justice. If you rent this property you will not be disappointed. While here we visited the Manatees in Blue Springs State Park, there were 166 Manatees in the spring. We lived in the area for over 10 years and never were there that many. We had members of our party fish the intercoastal waterway and had a great time.

Beach Vacation

Absolutely perfect place to stay. Plenty of space for everyone , clean and all the cook wear you need. My husband loves to cook and was very satisfied. We were right across the street from the beach and saw sea turtle nest every morning. We went clamming and had fresh seafood daily. Bring your bikes, sun block and bug spray too. Noseeums are bad but cant be helped. You can put a big fan out side and spray yourself and be good. The was perfect and location makes you feel secluded enough. Debi was quick to respond to any email or phone call. Kids loved it too and patio is safe for them (no exit on top). If you have small kids the beach just north (walking, biking or car ride) is perfect for them to have room to run and play with shallow water. Debi list local places to eat, we have been here before and all the choices were good.

My name is Debi Lake and I manage our family vacation home. My in-laws, Pat & Jerry, had this home built in 1980 for weekends and summer vacations. After some damage that occurred during a 2005 hurricane, we did a total renovation that took several years to complete. To help offset the cost of that renovation plus the overall high maintenance of a beach property, we decided to accept weekly rentals. Please see our guest reviews. Everyone loves our place and I know you will too.

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft

We began renting only a few years ago, after our renovation. We loved the Atlantic beaches and always wanted a family vacation home. With Orlando as our home base, we wanted some place within a reasonable drive and New Smyrna was the perfect choice. It exactly a 1.5 hour drive for us door-to-door. Also we loved the remoteness that 'Bethune Beach' (South NSB) offered. It's like our own private beach (no traffic).

We love being so close to the undeveloped beach of Canaveral National Seashore park, and yet only a quick jaunt away from restaurants & shopping. We love having two separate, upstairs/downstairs family/TV areas. The kids can shoot pool, play video games and watch their shows downstairs, while we enjoy other activities upstairs. We love our large upstairs outside deck, especially in the mornings with a cup a coffee and late afternoons with a refreshing adult beverage. It doesn't get better than that!
