BonVue Oceanfront House in Ponte Vedra Beach / St Aug

Welcome to BonVue (formerly Pure Bliss)!

From the moment you enter the front door of our home you are enveloped by a beautiful panoramic view of the intense blue sea and sky. Walk out the french doors and over the beachside deck and a few more steps and you're on the sand.

Our ocean front cottage is located between Jacksonville Beach and St. Augustine, in South Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, directly on the ocean. It is very private, with the public accesses located 1 mile to the north and 1 mile to the south. Guana Reserve State Park is across A1A to the west (which offers great nature hikes, bicycling, kayaking and fishing on the Tolomato River). Enjoy stargazing and beach walks at night and beach combing and swimming during the day.

The house boasts 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (each with bathtubs) with 2 couches in the living room. One of these couches pulls out into a full size bed for additional sleeping space! Dining table with custom made benches accommodates six people. New high count linens and fresh pillows lie atop the full size bed and queen size bed in the bedrooms, with an additional twin size cot in the first bedroom. The floors are wood and Mexican tile, with wood ceilings with recessed lights in the wide living area which faces the ocean. Take delight in the flat-screen television and high-speed WiFi internet which is on site.

Enjoy the Adirondack chairs on the beachside deck while watching dolphins swim by. An outdoor shower is available to wash off after swimming. Come and enjoy this wonderful escape from the stresses of everyday life!

Comfy House on Idyllic Beach

The home has all the comforts of home on a beach with very few people. The view is stunning. The verandah has adirondack chairs that are perfect for relaxing. The appliances are new and we appreciated the washer and dryer.

A great get away with an awesome view.

If you are looking for a small two bedroom home right on the beach, this is an excellent choice. We have stayed at this location numerous times and we just keep going back. The owner is extremely response to any questions or concerns that come up before or during your stay.

We had a great week. Second time staying. Feels so comfortable and tranquil sitting on the large deck overlooking the beach. Would highly recommend. Close to restaurants and a quick drive to St Augustine.

Loved being right on the ocean.

There had been construction going on so understandable that it was tore up and messy around the property. It rained the whole time we were there, thanks to Mother Nature. But to see the many moods of the ocean so close up was very cool. More instructions on using washer via the fridge would have been nice. Also floors not clean to start with, lots of sand and not clean.

This is our second stay at this beach house and we love it! It's an older house but it has everything that you would need. It is directly on the beach and away from crowds. Our Florida getaway beach house. We hope to come visit on a regular basis

steps from the beach

BonVue Oceanfront did not disappoint! Waking up to sunrise each morning and having the beach right in front of you to enjoy was exactly what we were looking for. The house was comfortable and just as we had expected. Would most definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone looking in this area!

Cozy, convenient beach house

Nice beach house right on the beach. No walking or excessive stairs for elder knees. We had a wonderful time with grandkids and conveniently ate in most nights with well supplied kitchen and nice dining area. Great view of the ocean. Beds very comfortable. We were able to take our Corgi.

A perfect week

We have stayed at several properties along this strip of beach, and this was by far the best for us. The house had everything we needed, and was just enough room for our family of 6 to have space but still be on vacation together. Also had great contact and communication with the owners. It was wonderful and we will absolutely look to stay here again.

Money well spent

This location is awesome close enough to everything but far enough away from the crowds. Owner is awesome, location was struck by lightning knocking out the router for the Wi-Fi. Owner was great to communicate with and had the problem fixed quickly. I would recommend this location to anyone. We will be booking again. Thank you for the best stay and vacation in a long time. Megan went above and beyond with communication and kept us informed.

The house was exactly as listed and even though they had some storm damage about 6 months ago, Megan kept us in the loop. She was honest and was the best host we have ever rented from. We would definitely stay again if we return to the area!

The perfect vacation beach house

This beach house was absolutely perfect for us. The location was perfect everything was perfect! The only thing that I could complain about is that I had to come home when I wanted to stay. We will be renting again hopefully next year. The location could not be any better. Waking up to see the ocean right at your doorstep was amazing. I collected so many seashells I filled up 5 gallon bucket full. These are the biggest shells I have ever collected. So happy we found this beach house and hope to visit again real soon! Thanks again! Perfect Getaway

Our family of 4 stayed over Labor Day weekend and we had the best time. The home is in a perfect location, steps until you're in the sand on what feels like your private beach. The home is cozy and has the perfect beach cottage feel. We saw dolphins every morning, and the sunrises are worth waking up early for. We would definitely rent again!

Look No Further!

This was our best vacation yet at Ponte Vedra Beach. We definitely hope to return. We had a family vacation with our daughter, her husband and my mother-in-law. This home is super spacious. Accommodated us 5 very comfortably. Beautifully decorated with extras. The views are breath taking and just right out side is the beach. Every view out of the backside of the house is ocean. Windows across the whole back. We watched dolphins each morning at breakfast. Literally steps down onto the beach. Everything is carefully thought out and provided for a pleasant and comfortable stay. Super comfy beds and even a comfortable pull out sofa (my husband and I slept here). Great locations with grocery and sight seeing nearby. Short drive to St Augustine. I just can say enough about this property. It is a home away from home. Do not hesitate to make this your next vacation spot. You won’t regret it. Thanks again for letting us enjoy your home. We loved it.

Incredible views

I almost don’t want to leave a review about this place and the beach access and view because I know it will remain booked solid! Lol! This place rocks. We have 18 month old twins and the beach is literally footsteps away which makes the day a breeze. The beach is private so it is quiet and it feels like you have the ocean to yourself. The house is cozy with rustic beach house vibes. It is clean and there is plenty of space to move around. True what other reviewers have said about water fixtures needing a bit of updating, but to be clear we ran both showers at the same time and the washer and the dishwasher and never had issues with hot water or water pressure. All in all, this place was a wonderful stay.
