Love keystone!!!!

When we booked it we didn’t know it was on 3rd floor and no elevator (plus one floor of parking) but we made out ok! We are older so weren’t sure. It should be listed prominently in description! It was a little trouble getting luggage up! Needless to say we didn’t gain any weight those two weeks!

Another great week!

This is our second year staying during our Keystone ski trip, and we love it. It’s just the space we need for our family of five, and it is so easy to get to the bottom of the Peru lift.

Great location, as advertised

The property is as described. It is on the top floor so be prepared for some stairs. It is on the bus route with a short ride to the base. The base is within walking distance... About 10 min depending on pace. You can stay on the green route and ride to River Run. Key Condo is a route stop. The condo was clean on arrival with partially stocked fridge (condiments) and cabinets (tea, spices, etc). Dishes were plentiful and clean. Good water pressure and hot water did not run out after three showers. Room temperature was comfortable and easily adjusted. There are humidifiers available. The room darkening curtains were nice to have in the bedrooms. No one slept in the loft but was easily accessed. The ladder feels like it is at a slightly reversed angle. It was a little awkward and difficult to use but was sturdy enough for a large adult. The down comforter worked as an extra pad on the sofa sleeper. Two adults were comfortable on it. The other beds were comfortable. Wifi worked well and having cable tv in addition to the smart tv was a nice bonus. The unit is adjacent to the clubhouse for swimming or hot tub. The laundry facilities are in the club house and are paid for via qr code on your phone. John was easy to reach and very helpful. One member of our party had an issue come up after an unintended early arrival. The issue was taken care of professionally and quickly. We would absolutely return.

Great place for family and ski lifts

This condo was perfect for our ski trip. All information was provided well ahead of time, and condo had everything my family needed for a comfortable stay. The location to the Peru lift was excellent. We will stay here again on our next trip to Keystone. Thank you!!

Great Location

The condo was dated, but clean and everything worked well for us. For the price the location was excellent. It was an easy walk to Peru express lift. There is also a bus stop in front of the condo. Buses run every 10 minutes to take you to the River Run Gondola lift and the main Keystone Resort.

Great location and amenities

Place was clean and well furnished, great location, great communication with owner. Easy check in and out. Only minor nitpicks, be aware that loft only has a single mattress, rather than double, and the beds are firm, if you don't do well on firm mattresses. There is a nice sofa pull-out for extra sleeping. The condo is on the third floor with no elevator access, we had a disabled person in the group so this was kinda tough, just be aware, it might not be obvious in the listing. Place was well furnished, more than equal to similar condos. Also has a smart TV you can log in and watch your shows. We watched a ton of Disney movies over Christmas.

Stayed here with a small group of friends - glad we chose this listing. Close to shops and town, and the walk to the lifts is very quick and convenient. Would stay in this location again!

Great location and awesome host!

Location was great, very close to the lifts and ski schools, condo was stock with everything you need and more, host even put up Christmas tree for our kids, he responses right away with all our questions, Thank You so much for everything, will gefinitely stay here again!!!

Perfect location and family condo!

This condo was perfect for our family of four. Walking distance to Mountain house area & 2 base lifts. Clean with plenty of towels, blankets, kitchen necessities and condiments! My 9 year old son especially loved sleeping in the loft!

Friendly responsive host

Great location, bus stop is a two minute walk. We were disappointed that the fireplace was broken and the pool and hot tub were closed due to COVID and we did not find out until we arrived and tried to use them. The host was very friendly and met us at the condo to make sure check in was smooth. Plenty of items in the kitchen to make most any meal you desire. The lifts are about a quarter mile walk which was perfect for our snowboarder kids but not possible for my wife in ski boots. We were thankful to be so close to the bus stop. The climate was easy to control in the condo and the humidifiers provided really helped our family.

Great place to Stay in Keystone.

The condo wasn't big but cozy enough for our family. We enjoyed the condo very much. Had a great vacation. The condo is walking distance from a couple lifts or you can catch shuttle to the other base and the village. Would definitely stay there again. Only down side was no washer and dryer in the condo but there was a coin operated on in the main common building. The sauna was a nice surprise.

Close approx to the slopes

We stayed at the perch of a condo over the New Years and the stay was spot-on. The condo was fully stocked and lots of towels and other supplies were appreciated. With 2 kids trying to make it to their morning ski school drop offs, 2 full bathrooms were fully appreciated. That was the only complain though: one of the tub wasn’t cleaned it seems. We cleaned it up and problem solved. We did struggle through walking basically 4 flights of stairs but that’s our problem. Overall, it was a great location and nicely stocked condo that was fully used.

Key Condo #2975

The unit was nice. Condo was spacious and had all the amenities you would want and was well decorated. There were a few issues. Humidifier in master bedroom was not working. The dishwasher couldn’t be operated. We were told to not use it because it leaked. Housekeeping would operate it after we checked out and knew how to operate it without doing damage. We only had two staying so we had enough dishes available to last the whole trip without having to hand wash. The main bathroom did not have an outlet which was extremely unusual. The shower light was not over the shower/bath so it was dark while showering. We were told to walk to the nearest lift was 100 yards which was completely out ncorrect. The walk was over 300 yards. Despite these minor inconveniences we had a great time. River Run Village was within walking distance and had fantastic restaurants at very reasonable prices for a resort. There were plenty of shops, etc. there as well.

Nice condo close to the mountain

Beds were very comfortable, kitchen and bathrooms well equipped, parking convenient and covered. Bus stop was a close walk and lifts were also walkable for adults, might be too long for kids. John was very helpful. Hot tubs and pool and clubhouse are a close walk from the door. Condo was clean and comfortable. Ski locker is in the parking garage. The kitchen and living area could use a little more light but with the window shades open during the day, it is nice and bright. The windows need to be washed but considering we were on the 3rd floor, it would be hard to get to them in the winter time. It was great for the 4 of us, might feel a little cramped if you had 7 people here. We would definitely stay here again.

Zu Gast bei John Farrin

Retired to the foothills west of Denver, this Summit County getaway is less than an hour from our home in Golden. I prefer to book personally by email or phone, and avoid credit card and booking fees. It also gives us a chance to make a personal connection.

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft

We bought this as a ski base before moving to the west Denver foothills, and my oldest sister and her expert skier friends still ski often and keep it tidy. I'm more likely to be hiking Summit county 3 seasons and returning for a sauna and glass of wine now.

The quiet top floor balcony has a great view year round, and I 'gotta have a sauna' wherever I stay !! It's very comfy, and our kids loved the pool and spa too, when they were little. It sits midway between Mountain House base and River Run shops and gondola.
