This home was a dream of four families that wanted a get-away of their own but couldn’t use all the time thus it is rented out when we are not using it. Our style reflects a little of each family - from game tables to bedding each of us put our mark on this beautiful home. For your “PEACE OF MIND.”

This spacious villa is the ideal base for families and golf enthusiasts who want to make the most of their Florida vacation in comfort and security. The Southern Dunes Golf & Country Club has its own facilities and there are restaurants and easy shopping a short distance away. A short drive will take you to the Disney theme parks, Universal Studios, Legoland, and Sea World and you are also ideally located for such coastal resorts as Clearwater, Madeira Beach, Cape Canaveral, and Daytona while the Florida Keys are 4 hours away. You are located right in the middle of everything. Haines City is Called the Heart of Florida!

There are dozens of fine restaurants within 20 minutes of our Villa, from Italian to French, American to Japanese to Australian, a Special treat is Manny’s Chop House just around the corner ( you can walk there and back ). This is a gated community with 24-hour security. Visit the Club House Restaurant and Bar, enjoy the luxury of private estate facilities including community swimming pools, tennis courts, children's play areas, and a stroll around Lake Joe. Walk to a convenient 24-hour Walmart Supercenter or local shops and restaurants.

For our guests' safety and security, all points of entry to the property have security cameras. This includes the pool deck.

A workout facility is accessible within the gated community. In addition, there is a fully licensed restaurant and clubhouse within walking distance of the property.

Great vacation home

The property was great it accommodated all of us easily there was 12 of us. Pool and hot tub was really nice and warm. Shopping was very close.

Great golfers home

8 adult guys stayed for a few nights for a golf trip. House was as advertised, comfortable and clean. The Southern Dunes golf course is one of the best in the greater Orlando area. You wouldn't need to leave the community if you didn't want to. Walmart, Winn Dixie and other shopping at the entrance to Southern Dunes drive, home on the 17th fairway, quick walk or drive to use the Southern Dunes restaurant or their outdoor bar area The Barn

Fun multi generation trip

The house was perfect for our family of 11 that ranged in age from 84 to 8 months. There was plenty of room for everyone. Having a heated salt water pool really enhanced our stay—everyone enjoyed it. One surprise was that the house was not stocked with soap. After checking in to the house, we had to go to the store to buy hand soap, dish soap, dishwasher soap, laundry soap (you are required to start laundry before you leave). A few of the bathrooms also had NO toilet paper. So be prepared to spend a few dollars on supplies once you arrive. It appears that the cleaning people clear out everything after each cleaning.

Wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful stay at this home! Check in was very easy, the house was clean and tidy when we arrived. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you may need. The location was an easy drive to Legoland and shopping. Communication with the owner was amazing, anything we needed they were there!! Would stay again!

This is our third year coming here, for an annual college golf trip. This house is perfect for groups. The house is clean, and has everything you need! Owners are fantastic and so responsive. Can’t wait to have the opportunity to book next year!

BED BUGS!!!!

We found multiple bedrooms with bed bugs on our second night at the property. To make matters worse, the owners knew of the issue, trusted the problem had been remediated but never checked the property out themselves. We simply turned over mattresses and box springs and the problem became very apparent. I’m not sure how they checked to make sure the problem was solved but it didn’t take much effort. A very poorly managed issue and owners wanting to “make it right” by offering free nights at this same property. I wouldn’t let my worst enemy stay here. We lost out on 1 day of Disney, which isn’t cheap, due to making other arrangements for another property, packing all our stuff and moving. Owner suggested we “extend our stay”. Maybe they don’t have jobs or kids in school but that was not an option for us. To the owners of this property…you want to make it right, reimburse us on our Disney costs for one day or stop telling us you want to make this right by offering more free nights at this property. I do not see how you can even begin to remotely justify this as a worthy solution. Thanks for ruining our family vacation. I would attach the pictures of pillows we found in the trash and of the bed bugs if VRBO allowed it but they don’t. We had children staying here. If this were my property, I would’ve been on a flight to make sure the issue was resolved because an issue like this is SERIOUS so take it seriously and stop putting renters in harms way. Please avoid this place!!!

Perfect house for our golf trip

Thank you for allowing us to share your home. It worked out wonderfully for our entire group.It is an amazing golf course, friendly staff, and the new range area is awesome. Location was ideal. Walking to and from the course was simple (and necessary after our post-golf visits to the clubhouse). The house was excellent as well. We enjoyed the patio/pool area, watched some sports on the outstanding hugeTV, and cooked some great meals on the grill and in the kitchen. We had every pan, pot, and utensil needed...which has not always been the case on this golf trip (we are approaching 30 years). It was so nice to have a pool that was nice and warm as the temperature cooled in the evening. Thanks again for everything...the consensus was that we would like to come back next year

Great family trip!

We had a family trip planned to attend a wedding in Haines city. The house worked out perfectly for our large group! And the home is located on a beautiful golf course which allowed us to also get out and enjoy some golf during our trip. The communication with the host was outstanding! The pool area is very large and right along the 17th fairway of the golf course. Would definitely stay here again!

Great property

We had a work retreat and this place was perfect. Everyone had their own bedroom, kitchen and pool area is large for meals and socializing. Most of the time we had 8-10 people and it was very comfortable. The location is great also, with the golf course right in the backyard.

Great house for our annual trip

This is our 7th year staying and playing at Southern Dunes. This may be our favorite house yet. Easily fit 10 of us, and is a short walk/drive from the clubhouse. Dana and her husband are great and very responsive! We already booked this house again for next year!

Fun Family Reunion in Florida

This Park Place house was as welcoming in real life as it was in the pictures. We have a large family with several young married couples and some high school and college age. They loved the house, plenty of comfortable beds and baths. Wonderful pool area that almost always had people hanging out in hot tub or lounging on the comfortable pool furniture. Kitchen worked great for serious cooking and was a great space. Owners instructions and info about area were clear and attitude was relaxed and inviting! Loved it!

Florida Dunes 4 U is a group of 4 couples who went together to purchase a house in Florida. Each one of us brings a different skill set to the group so owning/managing a joint property made sense to us. Our property is our only rental property. When you rent with us you will communicate directly with an owner, not a property manager.

We choose Southern Dunes country club and club course in Haines City, Florida for its location. We wanted a property where tropical storms would not likely be an issue, where the golfing was awesome and its location was convenient to not only the theme parks but not too far away from the beaches. All of this combined makes this location ideal.

Our property is unique in the fact it has 7 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms. 2 of these bedrooms include ensuites. This is what makes this property ideal for multiple families or groups to stay together. In addition, in 2022 our pool deck and lanai were significantly increased. Our pool deck and lanai are one of the largest in the Southern Dunes community.
