Chaos and disappointment
We booked this accommodation only 2 weeks prior to arriving in Nice (travelling through Europe from Australia), due to it being "luxurious", having parking and reasonable location. The initial communication with Tarik was OK, although he ended up harassing me constantly the day of arrival while we were trying to sightsee. This made one of my 2 full days in Nice quite unsavoury as I was constantly having to respond when he kept asking me repeatedly the same questions. This was nothing short of harrassment. Later that afternoon upon trying to park the medium SUV (we had told him previously the car type) we had to drive around Nice for 30 minutes waiting for his father to arrive to let us into the garage. Well that turned out horrific too as the garage wouldn't fit our car. Noting also that despite asking for "specific parking instructions" - none were given other than to drive to that address and have 30EU cash on us. When we eventually find metered parking and arrive at the apartment, we again had Tariks constant bombardment of messages - this time by SMS and Stayz messaging. The following additional information is provided to potential guests: - communication issues (not related to language barriers)- minimal or no provision of things such as toilet paper, coffee pods, baking paper- outdated and broken furniture - maintenance issues with drains - left over food in fridge upon arrival - dont think you can use the clothes line as the previous guests sheets were on it
