Welcome to the Blue Serenity Cabin! This Brand new cabin is located in the beautiful Sunshine Valley, 2 hours from Vancouver, 15 minutes from Hope, and 35 minutes from Manning Park.

All four seasons have something to offer. In the winter, ski, snowshoe, ATV, slide down a hill on a toboggan, or snuggle up with a good book by the fireplace. In the summer, hike, canoe, paddle board, fish, and ATV, or simply just gaze up at the stars and enjoy the stunning mountain views…It's all here.

We are one of the first properties that is finished in our new neighborhood in huckleberry, so don’t be surprised if you hear some banging from our future neighbours during the weekdays.

Property with Potential

Overall a good stay. The house has good amenities and there is a lovely view of the mountains. Unfortunately, the beds weren't very comfortable. One of the queen beds is quite hard and the other is a futon. The bunk beds had thin foam mattresses. There is a lot of construction going on across the street. Otherwise, a decent stay.

A night in Sunshine Valley

Place is very clean and comfortable. Great option compared to hotels in Hope. Nice view of mountains. Only negative is that neighborhood currently has a lot of new house construction going on. It'll be nice when all done. Wasn't really a problem and house is well insulated from any outside noise. It's more of a visual thing.

Our stay was amazing! Clean, easy to find and very good communication with property owner. We had everything we needed at the property, definitely recommend 😊 we would love to go back someday soon!

Great quiet getaway

The property is set on a beautiful location, close to Vancouver. It was very quiet but a quiet time of the year as well - March. All the conveniences of home were available.

The host is a very kind and nice lady. The property is the same as the description, quiet, convenient, complete facilities, very cozy and stylish decorations. Spacious, clean, and brand new independent cabin! We will come back again in the future.

Cozy even at -19°C

We really enjoyed our stay, the cabin was super cozy and warm, even at -19! The weather did pose a few unexpected complications, the lockbox with the gate key was frozen and we had to use a handwarmer to get it unstuck. The cabins steps were caked in a thick layer of ice when we got there, and there was no scraper or shovel in the cabin. Luckily we had a shovel in the car. I would also say that the cabin needs some more dishes, cutlery and some wine glasses. Overall our stay was fantastic and we really enjoyed ourselves.

Away from it All

There's not a lot to do in the immediate area, but sometimes that's just what you need. The cabin was cozy and clean and made for a great get away from the world where I could reconnect with someone I love. A lot of construction going on - but didn't bother us a bit. We did go see Bridal Veil Falls - nice! Jane was responsive to questions/comments.

Enjoyable Stay

Cabin itself is very nice and clean. Cookware was provided and top end appliances. Nice cozy and perfect for a family. Good TV setup, beautiful bathroom, and large comfy couch. Provided BBQ and propane is a very nice touch. We were 4 grown men travelling and realized that only one of the beds was fit for an adults. The bunks and the loft bed are very hard. Fine for children but not for adults. It was also very hot the weekend we went and the cabin does not have a/c. We had to leave all the windows open which of course allowed bugs to enter as the windows do not have screens. The neighborhood is all under construction so it’s not very picturesque. Kids ride by on quads all day stirring up lots of dust. The parking area itself is a bumpy mess and one of our cars got stuck. Nice spot and beautiful cabin, but the construction really took us out of it. Once the area is complete I’m sure it’ll be beautiful but as of August/22 it just isn’t ready yet. I’m sure the price was reflected in this regard. This is, of course, in no way the land owners fault and she was wonderful and very helpful.

Beautiful view and super clean.

Overall we really enjoyed of our stay in this cabin,but in my opinion needs a couple of things. First needs window screen so we could open the window to flow the air especially for upstairs in hot days. There are lots of game boards for kids to play. It's very easy to connect with the owner and answer our questions very fast.

Enjoyable stay

We enjoyed our stay in Sunshine Valley, the place was nice and clean and communications with Jane were easy. We would recommend a few upgrades (as the place sleeps for 6 people): there were only 3 glasses, no wine glasses, limited cutlery, only 5 coffee pods for 3 mornings x 4 adults, and mattresses could be more confortable. And just a note that the bathroom fan is located in the master bedroom closet! Otherwise, the BBQ is a big plus! We would recommend for anyone who wishes to go hiking in Manning Park :)

Cabin was very nice and very clean.

Only recommendations would be to upgrade the beds and mention that the coffee maker is a Kuerig so that guest would know what type of coffee to buy

Great facility and location

We were very happy with the cabin. The equipped kitchen worked well for our meal preparation. The bedrooms were comfortable and the neighborhood was quiet for a good night's sleep. We enjoyed both the satellite TV and the gas fireplace. The proximity to Manning Park was the original draw.

This cabin only located 12 miles east of Hope & a 2-hour drive from Vancouver, this Canadian dream is so close to home yet feels like you're getting away from it all.

Enjoy the beautiful wilderness all year round, there are many miles of mountain trails for ATVing, hiking, biking, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing & snow-shoeing. Activities include lake and river access for fly fishing, canoeing, kayaking, outdoor ice skating etc.

Sunshine Valley is also located 20 minutes from Manning Park, one of B.C.s best Provincial Parks. Which features Downhill Skiing, a Tube Park and World Class X-Country Skiing as well as Horseback riding, fishing at Lightning Lake, and a network of summer and winter trails.
