We've been staying at Water's Edge several times for the past few years, as we love the location & views. That said, this was the first time we've stayed in this unit.
To start, the lines of communication with Donna were superb. Donna gave us recommendations of places to go & even sent a message one night to alert us that a SpaceX launch would be happening in Cape Canaveral (as well as how to view it from the balcony.) She didn't need to do that, & that really stood out for me.
Secondly, the unit was far beyond clean and well-stocked; I made sure to mention this to her upon receiving her "Get ready for your vacation" instructions. This condo was the BEST-stocked unit we've stayed in...oftentimes we've found only one roll of toilet paper, or we've had to buy our own dish soap, coffee filters, salt & pepper, etc. Not the case here. To have to buy all that stuff for a few days' stay (& not be able to take it home on the plane) is a waste & inconvenience. She had EVERYTHING & it was nice to feel so at home from the start.
I'd say that the beds were comfortable, the views were great but to me that goes without saying & it was the customer service that really made this trip stand out for us.
Lastly, I appreciated the way she handled an unexpected damage claim: Fabric dye from my new vacation pjs leached onto the sheets & stained them. After expressing apologies & embarrassment that I damaged something, she was gracious & helpful in rectifying it. Truly a great host.
