Great condo with wonderful amenities

The apartment has two large rooms with a large master bathroom. The kitchen and dining area are well laid out and spacious. The balconies have good views and a great cross breeze for windows open times. The pools are great and clean, if a bit chilly in February. The gym is fantastic for people who want a bit more than the hotel standard. La Baguette is a great place for breakfast and lunch. My only concern is all the traffic on Kukulkhan is noisy.

PROS - Mistiq is brand new, gorgeous pool area, helpful front desk, and fairly clean unit. The gym is also really nice and the downstairs french bakery is delicious and perfect for breakfast in mornings. The on-site convenience store is super overpriced - i.e. $8 USD for a box of tea so stock up on groceries before CONS: Listing said private garden and plunge pool - this was not in our unit and was disappointing (though other units had a plunge pool) Location is La Veleta where there's not much within immediate walking distance and gets dark at night, we had a car and found it easy to get around to town and it's directly on the beach road. The unit itself is lacking in amenities including enough dishes and utensils, towels, laundry detergent, cleaning equipment, etc. Power went out for a few mins almost daily which is expected for Tulum You only get 1 assigned garage parking spot per unit and for all other cars need to park on street, but not a big deal Only get 1 key for the unit which is annoying especially since ours accommodated 6 people The combo washer and dryer is all in Spanish and a bit tricky to figure out so you need some googling - also need to buy detergent separately (tide pods downstairs are $1 each)

Love love love

The apt/property is a wonderful place., and location is great. Beautiful design and spacious. Would definitely stay again and would recommend to all my friends. My only complaint would be that we stayed 10 days and it would have been nice to have had someone clean on the 4th or 5th day by on the amount of sand traffic from the beach. Other than that I love it everything about the place.
