You will enjoy being a short walk to the beach, with private beach access to the unmatched white sands and emerald waters of the Gulf Coast, as well as having a private pool and backyard space where you can entertain, relax, and have fun!

You will find a private outdoor dining area that can accommodate 10, a brand-new Weber grill, and plenty of space for kids or dogs to run and play. Welcome to Sweet Retreat!
This completely renovated, beautiful 5 bedroom, 3 bath home is located in a quiet cul-de-sac in the gated neighborhood of Paradise Retreat. The spacious kitchen has all brand-new appliances and is fully stocked with everything you might need to cook and bake during your stay.

The 2-car garage and driveway provide ample room for parking. The versatility of this house is sure to accommodate guest needs and desires.

Awesome stay
Overall it was a great stay, but the beach is a lot further than a 10 minute walk. The notes were extreme. I felt like a high school student, back in school. There was about 5 plush towels for 10 of us, but we made do with what we had. The beach umbrella was a bonus. Plenty of pans for cooking. Unsure about golf cart rental, they neighbors had one, but per HOA it isn’t allowed.

ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!!
We loved this house, it was so accommodating, never felt cramped. Pool a big plus, we had much rain, but kids would get in the pool between rain! Grill was ready for use-needed nothing! Very comfortable & cozy, felt like home! Our host was AMAZING, answered questions promptly & was so attentive to any concerns, no real concerns just questions about codes and locks!! Wonderful area close to everything!!

Engagement Trip
This house was exactly what we had been hoping to find. We were a group of two families of 4 who traveled together to watch our children get engaged to each other. We wanted to have plenty of room to hang out and celebrate but also for everyone to have their own space. It was perfect. The walk to the beach is about 5-7 minutes. Not bad at all but I recommend a beach wagon if you take a lot with you. The house is clean and up to date. You won’t find a better stocked kitchen. Cooking big meals was no problem. This house was a great find!

Great House!
We stayed with our toddlers and my husbands parents and sisters family. There was plenty of room for everyone. We had a little AC issue but it was promptly fixed. The walk to the beach seems farther than it really is! We would definitely stay here again.

Very clean and well appointed house. Pool area is very nice for dining and relaxing. That could be improved by adding seat cushions as we spent a lot of time outside.

House has plenty of room for 9 of us all to enjoy.
We would rent this again. House was very nice and in a great location. The pool was nice after a long day, which we paid extra to heat. It does get a lot of leaves and stuff in it daily but there’s several trees behind it. Wish we could have a golf cart. There was several golf carts in the community. There does need to be more details on how to get to the beach, (there was a short cut) and other information as far as listings of items that are provided and how much. Also it listed 2 chairs and an umbrella but didn’t see it in the garage. We brought our own but would have been nice to know. Overall it is a nice place and we would visit again

Beautiful vacation home near the beach
Property was very clean and comfortable. Our family really enjoyed ourselves and the property's furnishings were very comfortable! The property comfortably sleeps 10 and has full bathrooms. The heated pool was a nice treat after walking the beautiful beaches of Destin. The property is close to the beach and was about a 5 minute walk to access it. Close to many activities , restaurants and shopping. Will definitely plan on visiting again.

Perfect for a large group!
We loved everything about this property! From the appliances to the pool it was fantastic! A 7min walk to private beach access. Everything you needed was a short drive or walking distance away! Neighborhood was very quiet!

OUTSTANDING Vacation Home!!!
For clarity, we have been coming to the Miramar Beach area for thirteen years and I must say, this is probably one of the nicest homes we have ever stayed in. We have stayed in Paradise Retreat before, and all of the homes are the four bed/two bath configuration. This recently upgraded home set the standard with five bedrooms and the ever important THIRD bathroom (HUGE deal when you have four kids!). House has been recently remodeled, and the owner spared no expense. Appliances were all top notch - even the washer and dryer were full sized units, and not the apartment style stackers you would find in the average beach rental. Pool was perfect and well maintained; never was an issue for us as far as the cleanliness or the function. House is situated so that the backyard is very private - nice opportunity to relax after a day on the beach. Beach access was perfect - there's a secret path two doors down to save time in getting to the beach. Overall this was a great house; Lewis and the management company were great with the communication and covered all of our needs. You definitely won't be disappointed in this home for your vacation.

Spacious and great location!!
The description of this place is exactly as the owner says. Kitchen supplies were well stocked for cooking, baking and BBQ meals. Plenty of utensils, glassware and dishwater. Nice fridge and pantry space. Did not give 5 stars as the place was not 100% clean when we arrived. Floors were sticky so we cleaned up. Found the king bed skirt dirty and we needed more bath mats so we informed management but they sent someone to check out something in the garage only. We also used Xplorie for discounted dolphin cruise, bike rental and fishing boat trip. They were a great service. Overall we love our first trip to Destin and would stay here again. It’s better than other rentals we’ve stayed at. Thank you.

Great stay!
The property owners were so helpful and nice through the whole process. The house was big and accommodating for our large family. The pool was smaller than expected but it was still nice to relax in after the beach. The wall to the beach was a little longer than We liked especially with little ones. There was also no close parking to the beach access. Over all i would definitely recommend the stay there though!

We had problems with the Dish Network, pool overflowed, and smoke alarm went off. The floors seemed to be dirty even when we swept them and didn't wear shoes in the house. We didn't have any pillowcases for the extra pillows. It would of been nice to have code to the garage and to have a courtesy check up when we arrived.

Home away from home !!!!
We loved the place, this is our first time in Florida (Destin) and we loved it , this house has everything that you need for your perfect vacation, we need to do a little cooking here and there for the kids and we really found EVERYTHING in this house , super clean , super comfortable, great location, safe neighborhood we loved it, the pool is not that big (but who needs a bigger pool when you have the beach like 5 mins from the house?) the host responds really quick to your messages and needs ! We absolutely 10000% recommend this place Every restaurant and shopping center is like 6 mins away from this home !!

Book it! Great place walking distance to the beach
This was a great house in a quiet neighborhood 5 minutes walking distance to the beach. We brought our dog who loved the freedom to play in the fenced in yard. The heated pool was perfect and open layout great for cooking and grilling at home. The management company was very quick to respond to any questions/issues we had. We would love to come back every year!
