Wonderful large back deck high in the trees, just minutes from the lake. Views of the lake in fall and winter. New cabinets and quartz count tops in kitchen and master bathroom. New shower in the main bedroom. Two additional bedrooms share a new tub/shower combo. Community boat launch, swimming pool, club house, tennis courts, pickle ball court, walking trails, and basket ball goals. House sleeps 6 comfortably. Home is well sanitized before each visit.
We just had the basement painted and added a ping pong table, card table and foosball . Enjoy this additional space! High Speed Internet!
You can bring your boat inside the community (pay $25 Boat Fee at the Gate). The boat needs to leave the lake and parking lot each day. There is not a dock for guest. We will provide parking at the home, but please let us know if you are bringing a boat.

Another Wonderful Stay!

This was our second time staying at this property, and it was another amazing stay. Communication with owner is always top-notch, property is super clean, accommodations are accurate and meet our needs. The property is very close to the Swift Island Boat Ramp, and the property has plenty of parking for us to bring our boat. Excellent property!!

Cleanest & Cutest Cottage with lake view

We've stayed at a lot of nice VRBO's and this was the cleanest one ever! The winter-lake view was really relaxing and the home is a great layout for a family or multiple guests. Two full bathrooms were spacious and fully-stocked. A bonus is the downstairs finished basement featuring activities and several games. It was a blessing on a rainy day. The cottage is even cuter and more charming than the pictures and the beds very comfortable! The host was quick with communication and check in and out was easy.

Great place to stay!

What a nice house! Very nice and clean! Great neighborhood! Beds were comfy! Games downstairs were a big hit! Smart TVs made it easy to find out shows! I would absolutely stay here again!!!

Perfect Holiday Spot

We rented this VRBO for a weekend wedding getaway and it was the cleanest, most well stocked rental we’ve ever stayed in. The owners have thought of literally everything. The home is beautiful and very well maintained. We will be back!!

Lake weekend with teens!!!!

We had an amazing time!!!! The house was spotless, the owner furnished a wonderful welcome book with so much informative info, a welcome basket full of goodies. I had teenagers and the downstairs game room was perfect!!!!! I would 100% recommend this Vrbo and stay again!!!!!!

Last minute getaway

We decided last minute to head down to the lake and luckily found this property was available. The host was incredibly responsive and supportive of our needs. Property is a perfect getaway, had feels of a mountain cabin with some cool features the kids loved! The community pool was nice and location to the lake is great! All around highly recommend!

Hidden Treasure

We took our niece, nephews and grandson away for a mini vacation and to celebrate my husband’s 62nd birthday. I highly recommend this beautiful home to stay in. Very quiet, clean and easy access to the lake, basketball courts and pool area. Unfortunately it was the wrong time of the year so the pool wasn’t open but it overlooks the lake and mountains surround you. Kids had a blast.

Perfect Rural NC Getaway

This is a perfect getaway. Super quiet location. The house is perfect. Great living areas, awesome kitchen and great updates. We loved every second of our time here and hope to be back soon. The host had outstanding communication from beginning to end, absolute 5 stars.

I am a retired school teacher. When I retired, we moved to this lake community and have enjoyed all it has to offer. Our neighborhood has many activities for all ages to participate in, or you can just do your own thing. Love the simple things like riding the golf cart around, watching the sun set, or taking a swim in the large pool.
We purchased our 2nd home in Woodrun to have a place for family to stay when they visit. We wanted to share it with others as well.

This property was unoccupied for a year or more. We new it had a lot of potential. After renovating it ourselves over the next 6 months, we have helped to improve it's value and improve our neighborhood.

Lake Escape has access to Lake Tillery. There are beautiful views of the lake from the pool and clubhouse. Walking trails are all around. The back deck from the home is high off the ground and it appears that you are in a tree house. The views of the lake are wonderful in the early spring, fall, and winter. It is located in a quiet neighborhood. New quartz counter tops in the kitchen and main bathroom.
