The Village at Camelback offers year round attraction with its close proximity to Camelback Ski Area and Camelbeach Water Park. This unit is walking distance from the midpoint of "Laurel Glade" a green trail designated as a beginner learning zone where you can ski on and start your day. You are also minutes from Big Pocono State Park and a short drive to the Delaware Water Gap. This particular unit features an entirely renovated kitchen just this year and all new linens.

The space
We would like to welcome you to our newly updated Air Conditioned unit. The kitchen in this unit offers lots of space for your entire group to unwind. The extended breakfast bar seats 8 people and kitchen is equipped with plates, glasses, utensils, pots, pans, spices, etc to allow you to enjoy your stay. The unit is a corner unit so it has sliding doors on 2 sides of the rear corner that let you out onto the balcony. The balcony has a table that seats four as well as a grill for you to enjoy. The bedrooms are all fitted with white cotton sheets and comfortable duvets. All sheets, comforters, and towels were replaced November 2020. There is plenty to do in the area and the sports complex facility includes an indoor pool, sauna and jacuzzi, a weight room as well as indoor and outdoor tennis courts and basketball. This is all included in your stay permitting they are open (Pending Covid Restrictions)

Ski in/out

Location was great but should be aware that it is a quick but tuff walk to ski on/off with your ski boots on. We definitely did it multiple days in a row but we are under 40 and in reasonable shape. I also wish I would have known that this particular place doesn’t have a room or bathroom on the main floor. We had our 2 young kids in the basement and then us up on the loft. If the kids were older it would be ideal but my youngest is 5 and even though it was fine I was uncomfortable with it. The floors on main floor make ALOT of noise when walking across them. I did my best to not walk around much until they were awake but they both said it woke them. Overall the place was clean but needs a good cleaning. There were a lot of dust webs hanging from the basement ceiling and in the corners of the walls and the backsplash in the kitchen obviously hasn’t been wiped down in a while. I would definitely stay here again for the convenience of the location and price. It had all needed kitchen things and plenty of towels.

We had an amazing stay with our family. The unit is spacious and in great proximity to Camelback Mountain. Easy communication with owner. Very clean and updated- we will definitely be back!

Pros & Cons

Let me start off with the pros: •Location of the property was perfect for my family and I. •Close to the waterpark and other activities. •The owner was very easy to communicate with and did answer right away. The cons: • I was not thrilled with the set of 40 stairs you must go down to get to the property, which are conveniently left out of the pics. If you have anyone elderly, disabled or just do not want to carry your luggage up and down steps this is not the place for you. •Bathroom tub downstairs drains very very slow. We took very quick showers to avoid standing in dirty water. •Hotwater runs out very quick. It was a total of 6 people in my family so it took sometime to take a hot showers. •Kitchen is nice to look at but poorly laid out. There are no upper cabinets so any food you bring has to be left on the counters. This wouldn't be a big deal but that is the only place you can sit to eat since there is not a dining area. •As advertised there are 2 sliding doors out to the back deck. Unfortunately, there weren't any screens in the doors so we were unable to utilize them. Not a huge deal since it was really hot but in the morning it would have been nice to open them up. •There was a newer smart TV in the living room and another in the one bedroom. As for the other rooms there were not any TV's. Again not a huge deal but with 4 kids unwinding at night it would have been nice. •Lastly the internet/WiFi was very slow and unable to support multiple devices without slowing it down even more. I am not sure of the availability in that area but just something to think about. Overall the property was ok.

Wonderful Experience

Couldn't be happier with the overall experience we had. The unit is as beautiful and clean as it looks in the pictures. The sofa was clean and in great shape. The mattresses were firm and comfortable--not broken down and saggy like other units we've stayed in. The homeowner was very responsive and a pleasure to work with. We definitely look forward to staying here again! Walter

Mountain Gem

We needed a place close to Pocono Raceway for a BMW event and this property checked every single box. It was clean, updated, nicely furnished and the communication with the property owner was clear. It definitely suited our needs perfectly and I'll be marking this as a favorite so I can find it again for next year.

Perfect Camelback Retreat!

This property could not have been more perfect! The beautiful updates and spectacular kitchen were perfect! The extra touches like supplies in the kitchen and bathrooms were wonderful touches. The proximity to Camelback water park and resort were unbeatable! I cannot say enough about the property and responsiveness from the owner!

Overall great experience

The property was newly renovated and had a great cozy ambiance. Everything was neat and tidy and location was spot on as well. A few small things that could have been improved were the stocking of the kitchen. There was no salt so we had to go out and buy. And we had a hard time controlling the thermostat. Directions on how to properly use the heating/cooling would be helpful for guests.

Perfect location at Camelback Mountain. Very clean and recently renovated. Our family had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this place. Communication from the owner was excellent and check in/out process was smooth.
