Are you ready for a vacation? Come stay at our home away from home! If you like to go out to eat there are plenty of restaurants close by! If you are more comfortable eating in these days grocery stores are close by. We have a fully equipped kitchen, with all new appliances to make your stay enjoyable.

Wake up and head to the beach to see the gorgeous sunrise over the ocean just steps from this ground floor unit. St. Augustine has 42 miles of beautiful beaches with soft white sand. The historic downtown area has a great vibe with a variety of restaurants, shopping and entertainment.
If beach life isn’t your thing there are tons of historical sites for you to visit in America’s oldest city. If you want to see amazing views you can even climb to the top of the light house! There is always something for you to do!

This two bedroom two bath condo includes a primary en-suite bedroom with a king size bed and flat screen TV with cable & roku. The second bedroom includes two sets of twin bunkbeds (max allowable weigh per bed is 150lb) and a flat screen TV with roku. Relax and enjoy game time or a movie on the flat screen smart TV and blu ray DVD in the living room.

The complex has two pools (the smaller pool is heated) and five jacuzzis. Have some fun on the tennis court, racquet ball court, pickle ball court, shuffleboard and bocci courts!
There is something for everyone!

Cleaning fee $250 for any bookings 14 days or more.
Parking fee $25 per car - max two cars allowed.

A great week!

The condo was exactly as advertised. Very clean. Communication was quick and the place had everything we needed. The resort felt safe and provided opportunities to play and relax. This was such a cool city to visit. We will definitely be returning.

Excellent host

Well maintained condo. Fully stocked with everything you could think of and more. Lisa was very proactive with communication and made our stay very comfortable. Not crazy about the hidden fees, though. Required damage “insurance” and parking fee only revealed after booking on vrbo. Felt a bit sleazy adjacent tbh.

Clean, tasteful condo steps from the beach

We (a couple in our 60s) stayed at the Island Escape for 9 days in February-March 2025. We could not have been more pleased. The property was clean as a whistle, thoughtfully supplied with books, games, and puzzles, and well outfitted for cooking. It is an easy 10-15 minute drive into historic St. Ajgustine, and a 3 minute walk to the beautiful and spacious SA beach. The residents in the community were super friendly and we even went to bingo night at the community center. Communicating with the host was great and she was very responsive. We would rent there again for sure!

Comfy and well-equipped

This condo was perfect for four of us. Our grinders stayed in the bunk bed room for 3 nights and had no complaints. We loved the master bedroom with en-suite.The building was quiet, we met one of the neighbors (a bonus in our book) and we’d definitely rent here again.

Condo was great. It is the perfect size, everything you could possibly need is provided and it was exceptionally clean. The property manager, Lisa is very friendly and quick to respond when you have a question. We would rent again if ever in the area.

Wonderful Condo

The condo was very clean , the owner provided a lot of little extras that made the stay even better. Great location ,just steps so the beach , nice size swimming pools , close to a lot of great restaurants. Will definitely be back !

Wonderful Vacation

The Condo was just what we were looking for. The location was great, it was very clean, and well equipped with beach apparatuses, washer and dryer and kitchen supplies. Also games, puzzles and movies available. The beds were very comfortable. My grandkids had a blast and want to go back again soon. We almost got the jigsaw puzzle done. Thanks Lisa for such a marvelous long weekend. Would definitely recommend it.

A slice of heaven

St. Augustine has become a second home for us over the years, as my wife went to grad school here. This is our second time booking this same condo and Lisa is an awesome and very responsive host! Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the St. Augustine area and experience what the beach and the oldest city in the United States has to offer!

Nice Condo

Condo was clean and stocked with everything we needed. Communication with owner was easy and instructions were clear. Beach access was expected, as we have stayed at other properties in the area. This is prime beach area. We didn't use them as we had only had 5 nights, but the pools look lovely.

Just what we needed!

Well it rained on us all weekend and we couldn't enjoy the gorgeous beach - but that doesn't take away from the great little find this was! You're literally steps away from the beach and about 15 minutes from downtown St Augustine. Two bedrooms and two baths were perfect for our family. The kitchen was super well stocked and I loved having a full washer and dryer in the unit. There were a lot of hard corners and surfaces for our toddling one-year-old, but it would be just fine for older kids. The only complaint I have is a small one but super annoying. The TVs. There are three TVs, they all have 3 or 4 remotes for each system, which makes no sense to me in the year of our Lord 2024. None of them worked for us - one kept freezing, one wouldn't connect to anything.... I'm literally a computer programmer. I'm considered a technology expert and I couldn't get them to work properly. So bring your own devices, haha.

Island Escape

Grounds are delightful and the unit is a short walk to the beach over the dunes. Great location and the host has done a fantastic job to make this unit interesting. Everything you need is in the unit. Comfortable and extremely clean with interesting nick knacks, games and detailed notes on the unit's resources. We really felt comfortable and everything worked as advertised. We had a great stay and found the resort staff friendly and helpful. Would return again
