Spacious house sitting on 4 acres with 4 br 3.5 baths, hot tub, pooltable, firepit, fiber wifi, fireplace, 3 big tv:s, covered parking and attached garage, privacy while staying one mile away from Clarkesville services, 15 miles from Helen, Ga, and 14 miles from Tallulah Falls area.

Great roads just from the doorsteps if you like to explore those, great hiking just minutes away. Lake Rabun and Lake Burton 30 minutes away. Mount Yonah and wineyards 20 minutes

The space
The spacious house was built in 60:s, has huge kitchen, living room and entertainment room, along with 4 bedrooms, breakfast and dining area and patio beside kitchen.
Downstairs there is deck with 6 people hot tub which has Bluetooth stereo. Also downstairs has one bedroom. full bath and spacious laundry room with washer and dryer.
Upstairs has 3 bedrooms, master has it’s own bathroom with double vanities. The other two bedrooms share a full bathroom with a tub. There is also a balcony shared by 2 of the bedrooms.
Kitchen area has 9’ dining table with chairs and a huge 75” tv, which can be connected wirelessly to a guest laptop for presentations and planning. Sliding door leads to a concrete patio with outside dining, a swing and a gas grill. On the other side of kitchen, there is breakfast area with table and chairs, and there is half bath.
Living room has wall of windows opening up to a private front yard with cherry trees.
Garage is available for guests, and there is an additional fridge for larger groups.

Guest access
Guests have access to the house, everything on the yard, like fire pit and gazebo, yard, garage with doors and separate awning.

Other things to note
The house is within a mile from Clarkesville restaurants, shops and services, 15 miles from Helen, it is private, no neighbor houses close, and it is several hundred feet from road. Excellent base for touring North Georgia Mountains area, and relax back at the house in the evening, grilling, cooking on the fire pit, or just chilling out in the hot tub or hammock.
Children can play on several acres of grass yard.

Spacious and comfortable

We really enjoyed staying here…five adults and two toddlers. The kitchen was great for preparing meals. The bedrooms were comfortable. We could spread out upstairs and downstairs. Thank you!

Family friendly and large private outdoor space

Large private yard just outside of Clarksville. We loved the separation of bedrooms and living areas. It is perfect for larger groups where some want to sleep when others are still noisy. 😊 It is clean and supplied with all necessities in the kitchen and bathrooms. Thank-you for a lovely home to stay in away from home.

Relaxing before the holiday rush

The house was very spacious an accomodated our party of 6 adults. The yard was well landscaped. We made use of the fire pit and enjoyed the close proximity to Helen. There was talk in our group of making this an annual outing.

Great place for motorcycle trip!

The owners were very responsive with the multiple question our group had, even after we arrived. The house is dated but its very retro cool and brought back memories of our childhoods! It was clean, very accomidating, great kichen and dining set up for eating and games, close to great motorcycle riding and we fit 6 bikes in the garage easily. The hot water runs out after a few showers so space them out! The firepit was awesome and we left some wood for the next group, Smores were tasty! We will be back when we ride this area again!!! Thanks again!

It works

Family and relatives went down for family reunion. We stayed here. Property was a little dated. Love the openness especially the kitchen. Bathrooms need updating as well as bed in primary room and other updates through out including doors and barn/shed/garage (not sure what it was). House was not as clean as expected but loved the size , the neighborhood, hot tub, pool table, and the peace. All kitchen items were supplied, even spices! We enjoyed are stay though.

Cousins reunion

My family has a reunion every summer near Cornelia, and my cousins and I all rent a space so we can hang out instead of being stuck in hotel rooms. The house was in excellent shape, and it presents as cleaner and more put together in person than in the pics. We’d love to stay at Riders Base again!

Nice big house

This is a nice house that's not too far out of town, but still secluded. And it's a split level, so there's not too many stairs for anyone. We had a wonderful time. It's big and roomy. I met the owner and he was extremely friendly. I would recommend this house to anyone looking to visit the area.

Wedding weekend retreat

Family Christmas in Helen

We were super excited to find a home to accommodate all 14 of us and our furry 4-legged kids. Home had a Christmas tree up that was wonderful as Santa visited with gifts for the Littles. Everything we needed was there. The weathered was not what we were expecting but homeowner checked in and made sure we had heat and knew what to do. Memories were made by all and wonderful having 3 generations in one road. Close distance to Helen a d were able to enjoy great food, Christmas lights and Anna Ruby Falls.

Christmas getaway

We go somewhere near a state park for a couple of days with family right before Christmas when everyone can make it as some can't on the actual day. We liked this place for access to a variety of things around Clarksville as well as Tallulah Gorge State Park. We had a lot of fun with the hot tub, pool table, ping pong and playing games.

Perfect family Christmas getaway

This house was a perfect place for the 12 of us to stay for our family Christmas getaway. The house was very clean and the kitchen was well appointed with anything that you would need! There was one issue that we found at check-in, but the host was very responsive to messages and fixed the problem immediately. The outdoor area is wonderful as well. The fire pit was nice and comfortable and the hot tub was very clean. Would definitely recommend time is it this house and will stay again !

Great Home

We loved staying in this home. We had 7 adults and 4 kids with a plenty of room! We stayed here to visit Helen, Ga for Christmas. It was a quick drive there. If you are here at Christmas make sure to go to Red Bird Acres to view their Christmas lights. It’s a walk through and it’s free. It was so beautiful!!

Girls weekend

I surprised my best friend by renting this house and flying our other friend in from California. No one had any clue she was coming. The house was so enjoyable we never left other than to get a bite to eat and snacks so we could stay in. The house felt like it had a pleasant history and we loved exploding it. There is lots of wild life outside. Blue Jay's, Robins,, a woodpecker, bunny and a cat were seen all from the back patio. Would definitely rent again.

Plenty of room!

There were 8 of us and we had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the house. The rooms are large and the kitchen is well stocked. We were about 20 minutes from Helen, and there is an Ingles and other shopping less than 15 minutes away. We enjoyed the pool table and the jacuzzi as well! Booking the house was easy and efficient. We would go back.
