The space
Adorable 2-bedroom, 1-bath cottage centrally located in the heart of Galveston. ‘Galveston’s famous Shrimp ‘N Stuff is just across the street, and they have the best fresh Gulf shrimp po-boys and shrimp tacos.’ Built in 1917 and has all the charm you’d expect from an 103-year-old house. It isn’t “perfect”, but its imperfections are what give it character. Huge windows, high ceilings and fresh colors to help guests unwind and relax. Updated with all of today’s modern luxuries, including WiFi, pack n play, large screen TVs with Roku’s to watch all your favorite streaming sites, bicycles & covered trailers and family beach gear. The house can sleep up 8 people comfortably with 3 queen beds in the 2 bedrooms and a queen sofa sleeper in the living room. A spacious bathroom has a shower/jacuzzi tub combo perfect for the little ones after a day at the beach. The fully stocked kitchen includes all the amenities for fabulous dining and seating for 6, with additional seating on the spacious backyard deck. A full-sized washer and dryer are provided for your convenience. The property is fully fenced and pet friendly (with fee). Lovely balconies off both the front and back of the house to enjoy your morning coffee or evening cocktail. Plenty of outdoor seating in the back yard to enjoy the island breeze. It's the perfect place to get away and relax! Approximately 9 blocks to the Seawall promenade and its free beach or the Strand with dining and shopping, and just a 10 minute car ride to the Galveston cruise port. Walking distance to Shrimp 'N Stuff and Lasker park and community pool. Bleu Haus Beach House has garage & driveway parking for a small vehicle and street parking on a first come first serve basis. Please be kind to our neighbors and do not block their driveways. Our professional cleaning team is following the CDC guidelines for disinfecting buildings and facilities between every guest stay. NO PARTIES/EVENTS INCLUDING: PROM, GRADUATION, BACHELOR/ETTE, BIRTHDAYS, TEEN or WEDDING groups GUESTS WHO BOOK MUST BE AT LEAST 25 YEARS OLD DOGS ALLOWED ONLY WITH PRE-APPROVAL FROM OWNERS. There is an additional fee for dogs. Please let us know age(s) and weight(s) of dogs when asking to bring dogs. THERE IS AN ADDITIONAL PER NIGHT PER PET FEE depending upon number and size of pet(s). Note: NO puppies; must be at least 1 year old and under 50 pounds; max of 2 dogs. Check in any time after 3PM, check out no later than 11AM. Early check in/late check out can be requested 24 hours ahead of arrival and is provided ONLY if no guests depart/arrive same day. There are security cameras on the property but none face any interior of the home. A camera is on the front deck facing the driveway, and there are cameras facing the back yard.
