MountainTown Chalet - Location, Location, Location

Centrally located in the heart of Breck, this condo is conveniently close to skiing, restaurants, shops and other local attractions. Stroll to downtown, just 2 blocks away. Or, hop aboard the BreckConnect Gondola, also 2 blocks away, for a quick ascent to the Peak 8 Base. Ski back on the 4 O’ Clock Trail, just a block away from the Condo. Some guests never use their car the whole time they’re up here.

When you get back, no need to lug your skis, boards, gear or groceries up flights of stairs. Easy elevator access gets you to the top floor, so you can take off your boots and relax.

And what a great place to come back to. High ceilings flooded with natural light and mountain views create a refuge to kick back after shredding world class ski runs or dining on main street. Rustic style throughout this cozy 1,265 square foot condo features charming mountain decor, leather furnishings and wood trim.

Make yourself at home in the open concept living area, marked by high wood beam ceilings and vintage ski memorabilia. Prop your feet up in front of the gas fireplace while you catch up on your favorite shows or sports on the Smart/cable TV. If TV’s not your thing, there is free WiFi, books, games and the hot tub is right downstairs.

You will have no trouble creating homemade meals in the fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances. The dining table seats 6 and has views of downtown Breckenridge and Bald Mountain.

If your group has night owls or early risers there are separate sleeping areas upstairs and downstairs.

Wake up to views of the sun shining on Peak 8. The Master Bedroom boasts a king size bed, separate his and her closets, in room TV and private en-suite bathroom. The upstairs sleeping area has a room with two 2 full beds as well as a loft with 2 twin over full bunk beds. There is also an adjacent bathroom upstairs.

Amenities include in-unit laundry machines as well as the complex swimming pool (open during the summer), hot tub (open year round) and parking for one vehicle.

Cozy, comfy beds, excellent location

This was an excellent location! Just 2 blocks from Main street shopping and restaurants and right on the shuttle route to Peaks 7 & 8. Condo was comfortable and cozy, plenty of space for a larger group. The beds were really comfortable and there were plenty of towels. My teens enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings. All in all, would stay here again!

Location indeed, and a wonderful host as the cherry on top!

This spot was everything we could have hoped for! Competitively priced, excellent accommodations, and the absolute best location (easy walk to town, free bus to peak 7/8 right outside the neighborhood, and just a block away from the end of Four O'clock run to finish the day!). Very comfy beds, plenty of room for our party of 8, a very well-equipped kitchen, and a charming place with beautiful views from the 3rd floor (with easy elevator access). But the best part was our wonderful host, Fernando. He was so responsive, even through some late night/early morning messages, provided clear instructions in and out, and made sure we had everything we needed. Though this was my first time in Breck, it was my brother's 8th time, and even he agreed: Best spot in Breck! We will absolutely stay here again! Thank you, Fernando!!

Excellent stay for family over Christmas

We arrived and followed the clear instructions to enter. The home (accurate description of being a home in that it was cozy and homey feeling due to decor and amenities) was clean and ready for us. Temperature was comfortable. All amenities you might require such as coffee pot, dishes, towels...games and puzzles, books...washer dryer...beautiful view from windows. We were a family of 8 (one 3 year old) and had plenty of room and privacy. It was amazing. Host checked in almost daily via text and very helpful if needed. So close to Main Street and free bus ride to Beaver Run only minutes away. Great set up to leave ski gear and wet boots without worrying about tracking into the living area. City Market (only grocery in town) was even a walkable distance. Cant say enough about how great the home was and the complete experience! From reservations to arrival to departure. Thank you!

Best Stay in Breckenridge!

This condo is the perfect size in the perfect location. We love being able to walk to the gondola to go skiing and walk to town for all sorts of activities....shopping, wine blending class, wine tasting, and lots of fun dinners. The owner is easy to work with and property is exactly as listed.

Great Location!

Our stay in the apartment lasted for seven days, and we had a smooth check-in and check-out process. The location was excellent, and it was conveniently close to a bus stop that took us to Peak 7 and 8. We highly recommend this place to anyone, and we would not hesitate to recommend it to our friends.

Great location

Here for a girls skiing trip and loved the proximity of the condo. Close to bus stops and my absolute favorite, 4 o’clock ski run to end the day. We even walked into town with a short walk. Defiantly will choose this condo again when we come back with family.

Great location for ski weekend

Unbeatable location that you can walk to the gondola, home from the ski slope to town, and a 3 min walk into the main downtown area. Once at the condo you do not have to drive anywhere. Perfect spot for friends / family to fit 8-10 comfortably. Only downside is the parking situation. Only one car per group. Also no place to store bags once you check out while waiting for ride to airport.

I would rent this place again

All in all this was a great place and great location. There was a bit of a discrepancy between the actual location of this rental and the location shown on the VRBO site. I understand the issue of showing the exact location prior to renting, but when you are skiing/ snowboarding and walking to and from rental locations and lifts a couple blocks can make a big difference. Not sure if the discrepancy was VRBO’s or the property manager, but my bet is that it’s a VRBO issue.

Great location and great views

We stayed here for a week in Breck in late July. The condo is ideally located about 1 block from main street and the Blue River Rec Path. Only negative about the location is that it is at the corner of one of the busiest intersections in Breckenridge and there is a lot of traffic noise from buses and trucks when you have the windows open. The owner is very responsive and easy to deal with. The condo has been well maintained and updated and didn't lack for anything. Only other negative was the upstairs bedroom shower was very small and the headroom was slightly limited so my two sons felt it was cramped and wanted to use the master shower. I loved the heated tiles in the master bath. There are great views of the mountains to the east of Breck out the living room windows. A few of the blinds were broken. I gave a five star rating but would have given 4.5 if I had that option just because of the traffic noise and the few things noted above. Only one of those things can be fixed easily. Otherwise we had a great stay and I highly recommend this condo.

Wonderful Stay

The condo was great! Super clean and had plenty of room with amazing views. The location was within walking distance to downtown and all the shops/restaurants. The host was very prompt in responding as I moved our dates around a bit. And was very good at making recommendations for food and activities! Thanks for sharing your rental with us! The only thing I would recommend is a couple extra blankets for lounging around the condo.

Great location and space for adults/ teens

My family of 5 (2 parents and 3 teens/young adults - 13, 19, 19) loved our stay. The location is perfect- very close to Main Street and the gondola and there was plenty of space for us to spread out in the evenings. We will definitely stay again! For younger families - There are no screens in the large living room windows and this condo is on the 3rd floor. I’d be concerned about younger children falling out.

Excellent Condo

Condo was very clean and a perfect fit for our family. It was a great location with being so close to downtown. We loved the mountain feel and how it was decorated. We would definitely stay there again!
