House Rules : Guest safety and comfort are our priorities, so all visitors must sign our house rules and contract upon arrival. Identification, like a driver's license or passport, is required to verify the reservation holder's identity and age. The reservation holder must be present at check-in and accept responsibility for the rules. If you are uncomfortable with our rules or refuse to sign, we cannot accommodate your stay, and your reservation will be canceled.
RELEASE & WAIVER OF LIABILITY AND INDEMNIFICATION AGREEMENT. You accept full responsibility for any injuries from swimming and accidents on the property, holding the owner harmless. You acknowledge the risks of swimming, particularly for those on medication, alcohol, or drugs, and for unsupervised children. You assume all responsibility for yourself and your party. The property owner is not liable for accidents, injuries, illnesses, or loss of belongings.
In compliance with City of Indio ORDINANCE NO. 1665 section 37.011, the primary occupant of the short-term rental must be an adult 21 or older. We reserve the right to allow or decline day visitors.
✹ POOL & SPA Do not change the pool settings to prevent damage. The remote panel controls pool and spa settings, and any alterations may cause malfunctions or expensive repairs. The automatic shut-off after 1 hour ensures safety and energy efficiency, letting you enjoy your pool worry-free.
✹ POOL HEAT - In winter, pool temperatures range from 50-65 degrees. Heating costs $200 per night, and spa heating is $80 for 4 hours, with an additional $20 for each extra hour. Please notify us 24 hours in advance for heating to 85 degrees. The pool and spa are cleaned on Tuesdays and Fridays.
✹ NO GLASS NEAR or IN POOL: To avoid injuries and maintenance costs, guests must not bring glass near the pool. If broken glass is found, the pool will need to be drained, affecting everyone's enjoyment. Please adhere to the no glass policy to prevent liabilities.
✹ For children's safety (ages 0-13), adult supervision is required in the pool area, as there is no secure gate. We recommend using a pool safety alarm on doors leading to the pool. Always follow safety precautions when swimming. Jumping from roofs can cause serious injury; use designated diving boards and check the pool's depth before jumping.
✹ Cameras - We prioritize a safe environment for our guests and property. Security cameras are installed in the backyard and front of the house to monitor safety. Please do not cover the cameras while on the premises.
✹ NO DRUGS Drugs are not allowed on the premises. A $2000 cleaning fee applies during Coachella and Stagecoach for excessive dirtiness or marijuana odor. We appreciate your cooperation in maintaining cleanliness. For inquiries, please ask before confirming your reservation. Smoking, vaping, and hookah are permitted only outside.
✹ QUIET TIME Guests should keep noise levels down after 8:00pm to respect neighbors and follow city rules. Noise complaints may result in police involvement, with fines of $1000 for the first offense and $3000 plus eviction for a second. Fees will be collected before check-out. Please avoid loud music and portable speakers from 8:00pm to 7:00am to ensure a peaceful community.
✹ FILM/VIDEO: The Property shall not be used as a location for professional film/video without the prior written consent and arrangement with the host.
✹PINATAS / CONFETTI / WATER BALLOONS / FIREWORKS POLICY: No confetti or pinatas are allowed. Fireworks are prohibited. Water balloons are not permitted due to extreme heat, which causes them to stick to concrete. Use will incur an additional cleaning fee. Do not rearrange furniture for extra guests; maximum capacity is 12, with a $75 fee per night for each guest over 10. All visitors must be disclosed. Our home is for you and your friends and family, not for parties, which are prohibited. If a party occurs, you will be asked to leave. Enjoy your stay and avoid issues.
✹NO PETS ALLOWED: We love those little furry bundles of joy, however Our home is not suitable to accommodate them.If any animals/pet have been brought to the property there will be additional charge of $400 per night for extra cleaning.
✹ LAKE:No one may enter the lake at any time. Renters/guests are prohibited from using any watercraft. Those found in the lake or using it will be asked to leave and evicted without a refund.

✹ SPEEDING AND RACING:
Speeding or racing is prohibited. Violators will incur a $1,000 fine and eviction. You are liable for any damages caused by you, your group, or your vehicle, and responsible for all Homeowner's Association charges. Please follow speed limits and traffic rules for community safety.
✹ BBQ: Properly dispose of ashes and close the barbecue lid to prevent fire hazards. Neglecting this may lead to financial responsibility for damages. Please use charcoal barbecues cautiously to ensure safety for yourself, others, and the property.
✹ WEATHER CONDITIONS: Guests must check driving and weather forecasts for desert conditions, including fog, wind, rain, and sandstorms. No refunds are issued for weather issues, blackouts, air conditioning problems, road closures, or vehicle limitations. Please close and store all umbrellas securely to prevent damage. Damaged umbrellas will incur a $100 fee.
✹ BELONGINGS: We are not responsible for items left behind after departure. Please check for all belongings before checking out.
