Cozy Get Away

This cute & cozy condo was an awesome choice for our anniversary trip. Just outside of San Fran, in a quiet neighborhood. Located just across from the Pier made it perfect for whale and seal watching. The condo had everything we needed. It was welcoming and cozy! We would definitely come back for another visit.

Let the ocean heal you at this location

We were very pleased with our stay at this apartment. We loved being ocean front. It was clean and comfortably decorated. The kitchen is very well equipped with pretty much anything you need. There was even a gift basket that made us feel very special! The communication with Carlos was outstanding from the ease of checking in, to making sure everything was good and his availability if anything was needed. We will definitely be returning!

Wonderful Stay

We really enjoyed our stay here. The apartment was the best stocked vrbo we have ever been to. Very thoughtful, very cozy. We would stay here again. Very close to the pier. The waves were amazing to watch.

Great Place by the Ocean

The property is on the 2nd floor of a group of apartments right across from a walkway paralleling the ocean, the fishing pier is just sightly south, across the not-very-busy street. We live land-locked, so we loved hearing and seeing (but not sometimes smelling) the ocean all the time. We were there for a week during the "summer" (Sept-Oct) so the weather was beautiful! Our visit coincided with "Fog Fest", which had very little fog! We especially enjoyed walking to the beaches south of Sharp's Beach. The apartment was very well-equipped and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect!

Have stayed at this apartment a few times. Its a great home away from home. Has everything you need. The view of the Pacifica Fishing Pier and the ocean is amazing. The neighborhood is wonderful. So many nice people. The location is an easy drive to San Fran or down Highway 1. Love this place.

Perfect location

My 18 year old child and I stayed for 3 days. It was very clean, had adequate kitchen supplies, great location to the water. Bring coffee mugs all they have is tea cups. The bedroom door slatted. So it does not really provide privacy.

My fiance & I stayed here for his birthday and we had an amazing time. The apartment was clean and comfortable, and we appreciated the goodies left for us by the host. We couldn’t have asked for a better view. The host was nice and responsive and even checked in on us to see how we were enjoying our stay. We will absolutely be back soon.

Perfect spot

This location and space were a perfect fit for me and my daughter. The kitchen was well stocked, the linens were very comfortable and the reading materiels were diverse, entertaining, and very useful. We were driving distance to so many things and the neighborhood was quiet and felt safe. I would definitely stay here again.

Ocean View Apartment

Upstairs apartment in a triplex. Building was fairly quiet depending on how stompy the other renters were. Couldn't get closer to the ocean if you wanted to. The apartment was VERY well stocked with kitchen tools and thoughtful treats left by the renting agency. Great location. Would stay again.

Perfect vrbo with great property manager!

Great place! Ocean front, best location by pier in Pacifica! We had record breaking bad weather with 30 mph winds and 32° nighttime temp. Heater went out! Carlos, the property manager had space heaters delivered and the heater fixed ASAP. Unit had complete kitchen necessities plus welcome goodies waiting for us. Will definitely be back!

Great stay on the beach!

We found it!!! We moved to the east coast 3 years ago and have since been looking for that perfect place to stay when we come back to visit friends and family. The place was clean, had everything we needed and was right on the ocean. My wife enjoyed the amenities like shampoo, conditioner, body wash and even a black towel for make up removal. I appreciated the well stocked kitchen with all the pots, pans, bowls and utensils I needed. I am happy when there is enough coffee to get through the first night, but here they had more than enough to get through our entire stay. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. The place was well stocked and laid out nicely taking full advantage of the magnificent view. My only complaint was the bed was a bit too firm, but my wife thought it was perfect.

Great location, some deferred maintenance

The pros: location, responsive host, well-equipped kitchen. - You really can't beat the location of this place -- you're right on the beach, and are steps away from Pacifica Pier, and in the other direction, plenty of cute shops and restaurants. - Carlos (rental manager) was very responsive over text when I had questions, which was very much appreciated. - The kitchen was very well stocked, beyond what I usually expect for a rental: plenty of spices, oil/balsamic, plastic wrap, foil, cooking utensils, baking sheets. They also left us a goodie basket of snacks! The cons: there were several things that were broken or malfunctioning: - The central heat (in-wall heater unit) wasn't working, so the apartment didn't get above 65, even when I set the thermostat to 70. That said, when I texted Carlos he was very quick to respond and pointed me towards a space heater in the closet which worked well. - the hose on the kitchen sink was broken so the faucet head sagged lower and lower into the sink when you turned it on - the lights flickered at night in the bathroom and bedroom. In the bedroom, the lights didn't turn fully off and flickered between off and very barely on while we slept. Not really noticeable with your eyes closed, but not ideal. - there's a door guard on the front door (like you see for hotel rooms), but one of the pieces was missing so it wasn't functional. It wasn't a bad stay, but didn't feel worth the price, at over $220/night (w/ cleaning and VRBO fees).

Disappointed and Left Early

After contacting the manager, we asked if the Condo was ready at 3 pm. He thought it might be and we could check. We entered the Condo and it was not ready. We waited until 4 pm the check in time and it still was not ready. When we contacted the manager, he was unaware that the cleaning crew had not cleaned the rooms. He stated that he is sending cleaners in 30 minutes but they were not here at 5:30 so we went to dinner. When we got back the cleaners were almost finished so we waited outside. The manager told us he was refunding $150 cleaning fee. We were satisfied with his solution. The next morning when I used the toilet, it overflowed when I flushed it. The manager sent his handy man to fix it. Later that evening new guests checked in and they were very noisy that night and early the next morning. We decided to leave two days early because of the noise and the toilet was still not flushing properly. Unfortunately, despite the great ocean view, we were not comfortable staying any longer. We informed the manager and he offered to refund an additional $350. The manager was accommodating and understanding. We appreciated that he refunded almost half our bill and we may have stayed longer if we hadn’t experienced the late check in and malfunctioning toilet. The manager did follow up after we got home.

Great place/location with lack of communication if there are issues.

The place was exactly as described. If looking for a perfect place and or neighbor to chill for a few days. This is the place for you. The owner included some extras and complementary items that make this place a real value The Pacific Pier and ocean water across the street are relaxing. Unfortunately, I hate to also report on the negatives. Once the heater reached a certain temperature, the CO detector Alarm would ring every 1-3 minutes nonstop. This was alarming since this indicated a possible Carbon Monoxide issue. I reached out to the contact person for answers and or assistance (630p). Received feedback over an hour later and was told to move the CO detector relocate it to the bedroom and that the Gas Company would check the following day. I was able to get the CO detector to stop ringing by removing and placing in an open window. Lets just say the next day came and went I never received any type of feedback regarding the CO detector. I decided to leave two windows cracked to allow fresh air to circulate and address any fears CO exposure. Plus you know I never activated the heating unit again. There was also an issue with the bedroom room lights flickering when turned off . This concern was never addressed. I don't want to overshadow the positives but I wanted to be fully honest about my experience. T he positive far outweigh all of the listed negatives. You will enjoy your stay but be aware that there might be communication issues if you encounter any concerns. Kind Regards
