Excellent séjour

Maison très propre. Notre coup de coeur a été le coin repas à l'extérieur. On a apprécié avoir 2 parasols pour la plage. Le propriétaire nous a fourni un excellent matelas pour accommoder notre fille de 7 ans à dormir avec moi dans une chambre. Le propriétaire demeure dans le garage converti en studio adjacent à la maison. Le tout est très discret aucun bruit entendu et aucun contact visuel.

We enjoyed our stay at this nice home…John was a good host and communicated in a timely manner. We had hoped the pool was heated because the temps at night cooled the pool down quite a bit!

Nightmare

We rented for the 2022 holiday season. We had the worst and worst VRBO experience of our lives. The house has a serious sewer backup problem. When we took our shower, the dirty water was backing up on the bathroom floor and then the shit was coming out everywhere!!! . The owner contacted a plumber for the first time and then told us that the problem was solved. But the problem has grown. The plumber came back and he told us that it was not the first time that he came for this problem and that the owner was lying to us and that the problem was much more serious but that he refused to fix it because it was too expensive! We lost 3 days cleaning up shit and finally had to relocate. The owner never wanted to refund us in full, only a few days and VRBO does not refund anything if the owner does not refund in full. We lost a lot of money. Also, the house was more or less clean. We saw bugs every day in every room of the house even on the kitchen counter! The pool is very nice but very cold so no swimming. The house is rented as an entire dwelling but that is not true. The owner lives in the garage which has been transformed into a loft. We could hear him talking and coughing so he could hear us too! He has a terrace he is almost always there he smokes cigarettes so it smells of smoke everywhere. The house is near the highway so very noisy. In summary, never go to this place otherwise your vacation will be ruined!!!

Great House Rental w/pool

The house was clean and exactly as described. The house had nice amenities and having our own pool was so relaxing for our one week vacation. The house is also 2 blocks from a local park with playground and a walking trail along water. My kids loved watching the ducks! John was very helpful and always available for questions. Would book this rental again!

Excellent!

Excellent! The house was wonderful, The neighborhood was safe and quiet. We had everything we needed in a home away from home. We enjoyed the parks that are all nearby, within walking distance. The owner was congenial and very accommodating. For the price this is truly a bargain. Would highly recommend! Thank you John for a wonderful vacation.

Nice place to stay

House is located in a very quiet neighbourhood with a nice park near by and very close to I95. Acceptable distance to beaches due to Florida traffic condition smth like 30 min. We had a great time kitchen was stuffed with all we've nedeed and John was always very helpfull. He lives in the attached garage of the house but didn't hear/saw them too much because has separate entry . Plenty of parking space on alley.Bottom line we enjoyed our vacantion and liked his property. Only one "minus" let's say is not any wahing machine and dryer. Cheers John hope to see you next time! Peace and Serenity in Oakland Park

This house is just what you need for a getaway! The quiet neighborhood was just what we needed. The lovely park with a lake was a great way to start every morning. The house was perfect: clean, had all the amenities you need, a great kitchen, grill, pool and all of the outdoor seating you need. The owner was so attentive and quick to answer any questions we had and even gave us pointers on good places to eat. We would definitely stay in this property again! 5 stars for sure!

An explosion of exactly what you looked for in Florida. Hospitable, and good communication when you need it. Quiet and patient neighbors, because I'm sure by the pool, with music, and drinks was way louder than it should have been, but it was like everybody understood!

Overall property was okay but need a little more attention with the cleaning. There were crumbs in the couches. The pillows in the house need to be changed. Very old pillows. Amazing rental property

My family and I stayed here for 5 days. We loved every minute of it. Due to Covid we enjoyed going home and eating more than eating at restaurants. Kids playing in the pool while grilling food was amazing. Everything was clean and supplies were available to clean while we were there. On site laundry and less than an hour away from anything we wanted to go see while in Florida. Thanks for everything.
