The Space:
You're going to love what we created for you. Working with a local designer, each unit has been completely remodeled ranging from the flooring, kitchen, bathrooms, AC and elevated seaside interior design.

Both bedrooms have king-size mattresses, bathrooms, and Smart TVs (with cable) so everyone can relax and recharge for the next day of exploring. Take advantage of the fast 200mbps internet if you’ll be working from home.

Open all the windows to bring in the fresh ocean air and enjoy your view of the Pacific

Guest Access:
Entry to this property is controlled by a smart lock. The morning of check-in, you will be sent an email with the smart lock code and any other relevant details for entry. The home comes with two-tandem parking spots in the driveway. This is the upstairs unit. There is also a downstairs unit, so please inquire if you are interested in renting both together!

While we hope to never encounter this scenario, by confirming your reservation, you are acknowledging that your reservation can be terminated mid-stay for violating any of these rules. If everything is agreeable, great! We can’t wait to welcome you and do everything possible to make sure you have an amazing stay.

DURATION
Check-in is 4:00PM or later unless other arrangements have been approved by the host.

Access instructions will be sent through the booking platform the morning of your stay only after the guest agreement has been signed.

Check-out is at 11:00AM unless previously discussed. Guests shall vacate the unit at the end of its rental period.

If the housekeepers arrive on time at 11:00 AM and the unit is not vacated, guests will be charged $100 every fifteen minutes past 11:00 AM (pass through) for their delay. Guests who overstay their reservation prevent us from offering reservations with same day transitions and creates operational challenges for our housekeeping staff and for guests arriving the same day. We are equally committed to making sure the house is ready for your arrival as well.

GUEST
You must be at least 25 years old to reserve our property.

Guests who wish to make a reservation must have a completed profile on the booking platform, including an email, phone number, and a clear photograph of your face (so we know the person booking is in fact the person checking in).

NOISE
This home is located in a quiet neighborhood, and we participate in a community noise reduction program. Thank you for your cooperation in helping us be good neighbors!

We have a zero-tolerance policy for noise complaints, parties or gatherings of any sort. Please respect our neighbors and keep noise to a minimum. QUIET HOURS are daily from 10:00PM-8:00AM.

ADDITIONAL GUESTS, EVENTS, and GATHERINGS
We ask that all guests let us know in advance if they plan on having any visitors during their stay. You may not have additional guests or visitors unless previously authorized by the host.

Unauthorized additional guests/visitors will result in an unauthorized visitor fee of $250 per person.

If using party decorations, please do not use tape that will damage the paint on the walls, confetti or glitter in the home or backyard. If any tape, decorations, glitter, or confetti are found on the property following your stay, you will be charged an additional cleaning fee.

PETS
Unfortunately, we do not allow pets at the property.
Guests who bring unauthorized pets onto the property will be responsible for a fine of $250 per pet, and any additional cleaning charges based on the cleanliness of the home at time of check-out.

Please note that even if there’s a no-pets policy, there may have been service animals in the past. We cannot guarantee that the property is completely free of pet allergens.

DAMAGE
Guests are required to report all damage that occurred during their stay to the host via the booking platform, prior to check-out. We understand accidents happen, but guests will be financially responsible for any damage that occurs during their reservation that is not covered by the damage waiver.

Please do not remove any furnishings, equipment, or items from the unit, including any linen, dishes, or any other items from the unit. Guests will be liable for any additional costs, charges or expenses resulting from any damage, lost or stolen items, or excessive check-out cleaning.

SMOKING
Our property is 100% smoke free; including both private and communal areas, the unit itself, and any other public areas within the building and the communal property regardless of whether inside or out. You must be totally off of the premises and on public property to smoke. If you're a regular smoker and feel you'll have a hard time following this rule we kindly suggest you look into another property.

Evidence of smoking will result in a fine up to $2,000 for smoke remediation.

ILLEGAL ACTIVITY
No illegal activity or illicit substances are permitted on the premises: doing either will result in immediate eviction from the property, and may also result in law enforcement involvement.

SECURITY
This property implements video surveillance in outdoor public areas to ensure the safety and security of all guests.

FILMING & PHOTO SHOOTS
If you’re interested in utilizing the space for film, television, music video or photo/film shoots of any kind, please contact the host to discuss details, approvals, pricing, etc.

INSURANCE
Having operated throughout the pandemic, we recommend the booking platform's travel insurance for your reservation or booking with a credit card that has such a policy. In the event you need to cancel or alter your stay, the cancellation policy will be adhered to. Thank you for understanding.

Beautiful property in a beautiful area!

I had a great stay at this property. The living area is spacious & comfortable. Well-appointed kitchen with everything you need & a local market within walking distance for groceries. Comfy beds & clean, modern bathrooms. And the location is amazing! A block from Windansea Beach which has spectacular views, especially at sunset. Highly recommend this property & location in La Jolla.

Great getaway

This is a gem of a place to stay in La Jolla. It is walking distance to the beach and fun places to eat. It was clean and comfortable. We definitely recommend it to other travelers.

Perfect retreat!

We loved this beach house from start to finish. The property manager was terrific, the unit was exactly as depicted in the listing with beautiful quality furnishings. This relaxing and convenient location was unbeatable!

Was nice

We enjoyed our stay-comfortable and fun decor and well supplied. A few things that would help the listing: Double check with your cleaner. There were a few hairs found in master shower, on rim of shower, toilet, counter, kitchen counter, fridge, freezer and living room blankets. The dishwasher had dirty dishes in it. The disposal wouldn’t work so there is some food in the drain-i tried to get it out. As you know, we had a little trouble with the key entry. We made it with the tp-but there wasn’t spare until you dropped some off (thanks for the promptness!). The yard needs some work-tho there was a gardener there when we left. I’m not sure if there is a fan in bathrooms but we couldn’t get to work if one of the switches is supposed to activate it. Also, since it is a more modest place in the neighborhood, it would really upgrade the listing to offer some boogie boards or bikes or some extra amenities. I hope they helps. You were wonderful to deal with and made life easy! Thank you!
