Keauhou Akahi is ideally situated next to the Kona Country Club, a spectacular public golf course with awe-inspiring ocean views. You’re also conveniently located near the Keauhou Shopping Center, where you can find a variety of grocery, dining, and shopping destinations. On Fridays, the shopping center features a multitude of memorable daytime activities such as lei-making, ukulele lessons, and an evening show.

What would a trip to paradise be without a few trips to the beach? Less than a mile down the road from your Keauhou vacation rental is the beautiful Keauhou Bay, which offers premier ocean access. You won’t need to look beyond this beach for your scuba diving, fishing charters, kayaking, or snorkeling adventures during the course of your stay. We had a lovely visit for >2 weeks. The condo is very spacious and has a large lanai with nearly 180 degrees of ocean view and a front seat to the 9th tee of the Kona County club course. I love to cook, and we never ate out as the kitchen is well provisioned with utensils, appliances and many non-perishables. Bed was comfortable - nice to have a King - as was living room furniture. Great WiFi. Relaxing pool. Close to shopping and easy drive to many beaches. Kailua is 10-15 minutes away. Condo is on the third floor, so I can understand some might have trouble with the stairs. We would highly recommend and look forward to staying here again!

Highly recommend this property

This is a very well equipped condo - even provides beach chairs, snorkel equipment, umbrella, and coolers. The unit was very stuffy upon entering and without AC, so we purchased and left there, two box fans which helped keep the condo cooler. The shower in the second bathroom, when water turned on, made a very loud whistling sound which increased over the week, becoming beyond annoying. Please attend to that. Other than that, it has a fabulous view from the lanai, is a good location for day trips, and set up well for cooking in. We would definitely stay here again.

Not ideal for people who need elevators

We enjoyed our stay. Location was convenient to Alii commercial activities and nice beaches, while tucked away quietly. Wished there was info on the building not having an elevator. Logging luggage up and daily climb (2 or 3 times a day) to 6 sets of stairs up to 3rd floor with bad knees was not fun. I would have not chosen the condo had there been info that us was not accessible by elevator.
